  1. not even mad that you fucking spoiled me. FUCK YES
  2. Killer Queen is utter fucking shite. There's nothing novel about the setting, and just wait until the second half of "let's just have pedophilia with five minute long killing game intermissions in between".
  3. Happened to me most with Persona 4 Golden. As for a VN, that impact was done best by either Virtue's Last Reward (godlike finaleI or YU-NO (the last 20 or so hours of that game is something else). Find something new to indulge yourself in, that's the best way to get over that feeling.
  4. Remember11 has one, although the serial killer themselves is not the focus. Play it anyway (it's godlike).
  5. HENkaku too stronk, emulators on Vita too stronk. Currently playing: -Soul Sacrifice Delta -Cave Story -metroid Zero mission -metroid Fusion -Castlevania Aria of Sorrow (keeps crashing) -Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance (keeps crashing) Will get started on FFVI after these once I decide on emulating whether the SNES (better graphics and music (even with patch), the classic version, somewhat better performance) or the (patched with music and pallette fixes) GBA version (better translation from what I've seen of it, portraits during dialogue). Tough decisions, mang. Both versions have censorship apparently... (played around 5 hrs of the PS1 version on Vita but that version is utter SHIT, so...)
  6. This thread ain't dying, oh no Took my sweet bloody time with it, but finally finished reading Cat's Cradle. It's my first Vonnegut novel, and even though many of the themes likely went right over my head (I suck at analyzing books, metaphor, symbolism and the like), it was very enjoyable even if just as an eccentric journey. After playing 999, seeing the origins of the idea of ice-nine was great. Now will be moving on to finishing The Chocolate War for my summer reading assignment, then moving on to The Hunchback of Notre-Dame for the same reason. After that I will go back and finish the A Wizard of Earthsea quartet (only read the first book last summer, about halfway through my reread of that and it is absolutely wonderful- sadly had to cut it off due to school reading).
  7. Would love to play C;H but for whatever reason on my PC it never saves.
  8. I'd say they are on far different levels.
  9. "Against stupidity, the gods themselves contend in vain." -Friedrich Schiller Schiller was apparently a German playwright, and the above words are, I recall, not an exact translation. However, this translation is how the quote was used in Isaac Asimov's The Gods Themselves- the novel I came across the quote in (and the quote is, in fact, the namesake of the novel). I just find the quote rather apt and enjoy using it in daily contexts In terms of a deep quote, the closest thing is probably "Tu fui, ego eris." from Virtue's Last Reward: "What you are, I was; what I am, you will be."- Apt for the graveyard stone it appears upon, and if I am to have a grave when I die, what I would like to see inscribed upon my gravestone. "The ships hung in the sky in very much the same way bricks don't." -Douglas Adams, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Besides being the most hilarious sentence I have ever laid eyes upon in a book, it was also the sentence that finally drew my attention, as a lifelong reader, to not just WHAT you write, but also HOW you write it- indeed, I should credit the whole Hitchhiker 'trilogy' for teaching me the importance of prose, but this particular sentence is the very first moment the book's prose really caught my eye. The absurd but sensible connections Adams utilizes in the Hitchhiker series has influenced the way I talk and write- the way I express myself. It has revealed to me a whole new layer of literature, and how it can touch a person's heart. And this quote encapsulates all of these things for me. "When you close your eyes, I disappear." -Sora Akanegasaki (character), Ever17 Sora is pretty much my favorite fictional character for reasons I won't delve into here, but her personality and route's sadness, troubles and "fleetingness" is encapsulated in this quote for me.
  10. DID YOU JUST RECOMMEND EUPHORIA TO A BEGINNER
  11. Sorry, since it's quite a weird VN, but Umineko No Naku Koro Ni is an amazing although insanely long VN. It's about a rich family that is gathering on a family mansion on an island, but is stranded there for two days due to a typhoon- it starts off as murder mystery and goes insane, wonderful, beautiful places.
  12. Holy shit, CONGRATS! Hope you enjoy every minute of it, through and through.
  13. Enjoy it, buddy. That whole route is god tier. Thanks. Just you fucking wait. my new favorite sig Just shitpost from the heart, and it will come naturally, prentice. And thanks! Danke Schön Herr Naseblöt thanks. didn't mean to sadden ya hymen, it's just that I had no other way of coining that feeling of FSG Manhood is patience. Mastery is nine times patience. -Ursula K. Le Guin, A Wizard Of Earthsea Just let the spring of memes burst forth from your soul! my utmost gratitude. Found my excuse to stay up until 4am tonight.
  14. Forgive me since I only read like 1.5 chapters of Chaos; Head at most, but didn't the guy live on a roof in a big container and hated to so much as walk outside?
  15. (mood: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiHA7Aw2GiE) So basically, that lil counter under my avatar is showing a really neat number right about now: It's been almost two and a half years since I joined Fuwa. That... sounds much shorter than it feels. Spending hours upon hours on this website almost every single day is not something I regret in the slightest. I do not give two vaguely inscribed shitstains that I might be being too intimate here, but the thing is, I consider the people I met on this website very, very close friends. I share more of my troubles with you than anyone else. This might sound idiotic, since this is merely a haven of shitposting about Chinese fuckycomputerbooks from the outside. However, I truly value the time I spent -spend- with so many people on here as something special and priceless. I feel I can share everything with you guys (and gals, however many of you are there), and that is very special to me. I see this place as family, even though not many people here might agree with that (and see it simply as a place to have fun, and that's fine). And now past the sappy part (lol, as if) and into the sweet memery of Fuwan callouts! @Vokoca, thank you for always listening to my hype spam on Skype. Shit matters more than you think, man. FSG/FSK crew, a special thanks goes to you for being the most hilarious bunch of rowdy losers I'll probably ever have the pleasure of meeting. @babiker, @hsmsful, @HMN, @Zakamutt, @joehawks12, @TexasDice, Kuu-chan, and many others I'm forgetting, you guys are awesome. @OriginalRen, you ain't gonna read this most likely, but I have always appreciated your efforts to spur on this community. Hope you have found somewhere you belong again. @Aaeru, I never got to know you (and since it appears that you've wiped the Aaeru persona from the internet, I likely never will), but I am grateful to you for creating this website, anything else nonwithstanding. @Stray Cat, I don't know why you left, but you're missed, and I still remember you fondly. @Tiagofvarela, the noble and just Tiag from the fair land of Varela, I am honored to indulge in the happiness of knowing for a fact that you were the first soul dwelling upon these lands I happened to acquaint myself with., my oldest friend. @Nosebleed, @Kurisu-Chan, you two are my role models in terms of wonderful shitposting. Glad to see you here alive and kicking every day. @Okami, you beautiful bastard, hope your soul dwells in the pure, sexless anime paradise you seek forevermore. (he's not dead, guys- he just quit fuwa) @krill, hope you're faring just fine, man. No one is as yandere as you. @CeruleanGamer, our resident dominatrix. It's always great fun talking to you. @Tay, @Nayleen, I can't thank you guys enough for running this site. I owe you so much. @Kenshin_sama, I owe a special thanks to you for being there whenever I was unsure, or anxious, or worried or angry. I really, truly view you as a guide and a role model in the best sense of the word. I am forgetting many people, but Fuwa as a whole is indescribably special to me. All of you matter a huge ton to some 16-year old cuck at a southern corner of Europe. I LOVE YOU FUCKERS
  16. I'm so, so glad to hear she's doing better! ^^;
  17. 999 is getting a remaster, which was heavily implied to be heading to Vita. What makes VLR my favorite game and VN is how you slowly start to understand how it is connected to 999, so I'd say stay the everliving fuck away from VLR before playing 999. VLR's sequel Zero Time Dilemma is an incredibly disappointing piece of shit you'd be better of waiting a sale for.
  18. It's beautiful to see you back again. Congratulations for succeeding on getting a bachelor despite all that difficulty... Sad to hear that about your mother. Hope she recovers quickly. Welcome back, havoc. We missed you.
  19. Welcome to our humble abode! I really like Umineko and Danganronpa myself, we'll get along. Have you played any of the Zero Escape VNs? They're similar to Danganronpa in plot, though I think they're actually better. Here, have an OST:
  20. Not really your cup of tea right now, then- the puzzles are quite easy, but the problem lies in the fact that it's a quite complicated plot. You're better off not playing 999 just yet.
  21. you lucky fucks are in one hell of a ride. Stick with it, the true route is INSANE. oh btw I finished Zero Time Dilemma and it's one of the biggest disappointments of my life right after myself
  22. Fucking crazy how this song goes from "Mediocre track" from the outset to "Nostalgic enough to make you fucking tear up" after finishing the game
  23. There's a theory going around on NeoGAF (can't bother to follow anywhere else) that Not following either side too closely- Mirai-hen's death game is right up my fucking alley but a 12-episode anime is such a small timeframe that the anime is given barely any pacing, downtime, and atmosphere. Hurt my emotional investment as a result. Zetsubou-hen's better than I expected, great for what it is. Though I was never all that attached to the whole cast of SDR2, so it isn't getting to me much yet. Mirai 5
