Fuwans, How Do You Bond With Your Siblings?
Kenshin_sama replied to Nosebleed's topic in General Discussion
It's kinda somewhat opposite for me. I don't really do it that often, but every so often I'll tease my sister and play around with her. She almost never wants to hug me though. ;_; My mom has brainwashed my sister into hating anime (she hasn't watched it once), but we do watch random youtube stuff and kids movies once in a while. -
I've never played a typing game. All my ability comes purely from regular use, lol. Never got around to measuring my speed though. ._.

Confession: I decided to come back a little earlier than planned. Turns out taking a break from Fuwa hasn't given me what I hoped it would. Considering how the number of people irl I can relate with, I started feeling a little bit lonely. I have managed to reconnect with a few people on FB, but they're mostly gamers that I met online. So I'm just about doing the same thing there as I was here, but with even fewer people. My irl friends have either moved away or won't respond to my messages. Kinda blows. So yep, I'm back! I have at least made a little bit of progress, in that I have a few job applications in and I'm starting to sleep a little better. Turns out it's actually a lot easier to sleep when you wake up before sunrise. I started drinking decaf sleeping coffee too (it works really well). But in spite of all my efforts to de-stress myself, I still can't seem to get it together. My psychologist decided that I need to start getting therapy treatment for my depression and anxiety issues, so hopefully that helps to get things going along. I feel at home coming back here. It just felt like something was missing from my life and I couldn't feel right no matter what I tried. That said, it does feel a little awkward not having Gravity Green, but I'm sure I'll get over that... Maybe. Either way, it's good to be back. Just in time to wish Flutterz a happy birthday too! Holy crap, has it really been a year already? I remember doing this for your last one. o.o

Confession: Hey, everybody. So, I'm back from a short trip to my grandma's. It was a good, much-needed escape from the chaos in my household. Had a fun time watching some movies, getting into some new books, and even playing at a gambling arcade for the first time (which was actually kinda fun). And since there were no computers there, it gave me an opportunity to think about my mental well-being. These last few weeks have been extremely taxing on me, driving my sanity close and close to full depletion, and there are still a lot of tasks I need to get done before I can live comfortably without having to rely on my grandma. So, it is to my greatest misfortune that I will not be around for a while. How long I'm away very much depends on how soon I can take control of my life, so I can't say for certain when I'll be back. My goal is to be out of my aunt's house before the holidays, and that will be the rough estimate for my return. Now, don't get the wrong idea, I love the hell out of you guys! The community here is fantastic, and I hold a lot of admiration for this website's ambitions and actions. But that's just the thing, I love Fuwanovel to the point of obsessively following numerous discussions and draining myself in the process. If I were to come here to read even a single thread, I know I would become tempted to search for more and maybe even post a reply (I'm fighting the urge as we speak). But no worries. The holidays are not too far off, so it shouldn't be that long. Eventually, I'll be back with a renewed spirit, a better life, and maybe have a few nice things to talk about. I know I never get to hang out with a lot of you guys as much, and our chats are mostly limited to here, but I really will miss you all. I'll try to be on the chat when I come back. I look forward to the day I'm ready to return. I wish the best of luck to everyone! (I'll still be on this thread for a couple days to read replies.)

And my advice is to try everything and see what works for you. The music part is probably subjective, but improving your reading capabilities is important to keeping up acc and consistency. I've been playing EZ up till now, but I've never heard of Map Settings Customizer. Shizu, is that what you've been using to edit your maps for higher CS? I tried changing my settings through the editor, but I wouldn't bother doing it for all my practice maps since it was too much work. I might try it now though.

Keep it cool, bruh.

10 VN You Need To Play Before You Die
Kenshin_sama replied to Nao_KASUKABE's topic in Visual Novel Talk
1. Mankai Chirarism Dai 1 Wa - There are only 9 VNs I would recommend playing before you die, so I'm just gonna throw this one out as a joke to fill the extra slot. You can finish this one in about 5 minutes, and it's a pretty 'unique' game. 2. Rewrite - The true route is largely hit or miss for most readers, but I do think it's worth playing for Lucia's route. 3. Hoshizora no Memoria - I feel bad recommending stuff with polarity, but I really haven't read a lot of VNs. The true route is something very close to my heart. 4. Ever17 - I thought it was kinda boring for the most part, though Coco's route was awfully interesting. 5. Saya no Uta - It's short and has a lot of juicy psychological bits. 6. Fate/Stay Night - I could practically die from how hyped the story gets! 7. Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai! - It's the only VN I've ever considered fun from start to finish. I enjoyed every heroine route and even the prologue was good. A few of the side routes were kinda boring to me, though. 8. G-senjou no Maou - I love Haru, I love stories with intrigue, and having a smart and capable protagonist is a plus for me as well. The plot twists and character development scenes were wonderful! 9. Muv-Luv Alternative - Whether you like Extra or not, it's worth pushing yourself through that to get to this. MLA excels at plot and character development, and I even learned a few things about quantum physics from it. 10. Little Busters - It's the 1st VN I've ever read, and I still regard it as my personal favorite. To me, it has great emotional value, and I absolutely love the characters. It's the only VN I've considered a masterpiece. I have this ordered with least favorite being #1 and favorite being #10. If you're interested in my ratings for individual routes, I actually do keep a list of them. -
We need to convert as many people as possible to Gintokism. :3 Welcome aboard, Mugi! Enjoy your strawberry milk.

Quite a coincidence that you post that song shortly before I discovered this, lol. -
After trying to actually watch a decent amount of anime this time around, I've decided to stick to only watching a few shows per season. Keeping up with weekly episodes for too many shows has been kinda tedious for me lately. >.< I am tempted to pick up the next season of K while it's airing, but I think I'll hold off and watch it on Blu-ray. It'll probably be more enjoyable that way. While Yuru Yuri has been a fun watch for me in the past, I've been getting kinda tired of SoL lately. Maybe I'll pick it up later when I'm in the mood for pointlessly adorable stuff. I've been meaning to read One Punch Man for a while, but never got around to it. Given my interest in the series, and how it has a good production studio behind it, I'll definitely give this one a go. Ecchi action harems are generally a hit and miss for me, but I tend to love them when they properly emphasize their strong points. Hopefully Shinmai Maou no Testament Burst doesn't disappoint. The Index fanboy in me won't pass up the opportunity to watch Heavy Object. I haven't read the LN either, so I'm pretty excited to see this!

Confession: I don't even feel like getting into this anymore. It's been almost 3 years now...

I usually fail at the death stream, but I was finally able to nail it and pass this. The jumps are still really hard for me though, lol.

That's true, just make sure no one's behind you. They may look if you're in their line of sight, but not if they have to move.

Just a couple more years to go, right? Happy birthday, Funya!

Kenshin x Flutterz x Kosaki? Alright, sure. Zodai can write the source material, and Yatabe Katsuyoshi can direct the adaption. It'll be perfect!
