Thanks. I've tried in the past to let it go in the past (my grandma even offered me $100 to quit), but lately I've just stopped caring and let it escalate. Maybe having a hole in my nail will help with that... Getting over my disorder will probably help though.

Confession: I really need to fix my nail biting habit. It's gotten to the point where I bit a hole through the base of the nail on my thumb. And yes, this is actually possible. One thing I've learned from this nasty habit is that when you gnaw against the grain of your nail, you can actually chew off parts of your nail that aren't at the top. It's less painful than chewing the top of your nail until you start touching the skin underneath it. After that, it hurts like hell! Now I'm gonna have to deal with a weird gap in my nail until it grows back properly. Having an anxiety disorder sucks. Also, after talking it over with my psychologist, I'm starting to realize how deeply embedded this is due to my childhood. I'll always have a lot of respect for my step dad and the discipline he instilled in me, but the toll it has taken on my mental health ended up being too much. He used fear tactics to keep me in line, and there was never a time where I wasn't nervous around him. At least my therapy starts Tuesday!

An hour? Jesus, man. The UI isn't that complicated. It wasn't even that complicated five years ago. Everyone has their pace. I started playing EVE yesterday and it took me roughly 30 minutes to figure out how to get another ship after losing my first (it exploded before I even knew how docking worked, lol). Coming from another regular MMO player here, I do find the UI to be a bit more advanced than others I've tried. I could barely tell what I was doing at all, and had to rely on external resources to figure things out. Thankfully I did find a decent [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzTUBq2_6gs]video guide on youtube that did a better job explaining the basics than the actual game. And with less fluff talk than the usual guides you see on youtube, the guide still ran for an entire hour. To add even more to that, he had to skip certain aspects of the UI since they didn't fit within the scope of his guide. But now that I have a rough understanding of how to play it, I am very intrigued by the game's design, so there's a good chance I'll continue playing for a while longer. I'm still just getting the hang of things; haven't really gotten into the beef of the game. I'll post a more detailed opinion later.

My guild's healers in WoW never complained about our dps, but they hated full/majority pug runs. Didn't know SWTOR had guilds now.

Thanks to this thread, I'm now playing Adventure Quest. Honestly, I thought I'd just be spending 30 minutes on it for a brush of nostalgia, but I'm actually getting a little bit into it. The game was kind of tedious for me at first, but now that I know how to use Google a little more proficiently, I'm enjoying it more. I'm allocating my stats for a stronger build, finding better gear, and leveling up more easily. It's still a hell of a grind to get stuff in this game, but I don't mind it as much now.

I agree. It is quite a fantastic pyramid! For what it's worth, I do think you bring up some interesting things to talk about. I definitely would not mind participating, but I'm a bit incompetent in these types of engagements. I'm the kind of person that gets interested in various topics, and yet most of the time I find myself at a loss as to how I can make a worthwhile contribution to discussion. Consequently, the majority of my posts are idle chatter, image/video spamming, and sharing my opinion on whatever I'm reading, playing, or watching. Sometimes I'll get into a debate with someone if I feel confident enough in what I'm arguing about, but that's it. Personally, I think you should keep on with what you're doing. The more chances you give to converse with you, the better you're likelihood for a chance encounter will be.

Had 4 weeks to catch up to for the season, but it wasn't that bad since I only watched a couple anime. One Punch Man will be a weekly anticipation for me this season. With it being a mix of unconventional hero mechanics, good comedy, and a budget unheard of for this type of anime, One Punch Man is so much fun to watch! But damn it, I hate how the best anime are usually only one cour. I hope the next season doesn't take too long. D: Heavy Object is pretty enjoyable also, but there are a few irksome details that kinda get on my nerves. The most glaring issue is the ecchi-based humor, which is pretty much the same typical shit you see in fan-servicey anime like this all the time. It's starting to bother me how much the character give the wink face too. Give it a break already, it's only cool when Rin does it. But other than that, I do think the premise is interesting and it has the kind of energy I like in action scenes. Milinda is adorable too. :3 There was one other anime I was gonna pick up this season, but I forgot what it was, lol. Any recommendations you guys would have for me? Edit: Eh, nevermind, I'm just gonna watch the new Gundam series. I think it's about time I got into this franchise. Liking it so far.

If you've never done it, then you don't know what you're missing, so it shouldn't be that much of a hassle to not dive into it. While I'm about 5 years away from becoming a wizard, I still don't want my first to be with someone I don't care about.

I have thought about the game at times, but I almost never talk about it. Back when I was fresh to online gaming, AQ was my alternative to Runescape whenever I got bored of it, and vice versa. I got a guardian account a couple months after playing it, can't remember what lvl I got to though. Had some good times playing it. I played AQW about a year after launch and I got kinda tired of it. It was horribly slow and it was easy to run out of stuff to do back then (only 3 major bosses were out last time I played it extensively).
