1. Fantasy, adventure and supernatural(I consider wizard-stuff to fall into supernatural) for the most part. 2. Don't really have a particular favourite(Harry Potter and Eragon are both pretty good ones though), just that I'm easily satisfied with anything of this genre than others. 3. No idea, my enjoyment of manga isn't as high as that of anime or vns. Probably because I didn't read much comics as a child. What?! Me and hate Harry Potter ??? Note: Fixed spelling of realy->really. Muh eyes don't like them wavy red lines.

I really doubt that Ell was intended to be a loli. Qoo and Remi on the other hand were intended to be lolis(since we don't have a route for them so I guess that producers didn't want to have loli routes). Ell is intended to be a shy and innocent girl. I do agree that's she's too human and the fact of her being a robot is kinda there just for show.

Yeah the Ranking is clearly Puchin > Ran > Ell > Yukino

My last vn was Hanachirasu Just can't get enough of the protag's smile

Watching Baccano! Upto ep 5 and I can totally understand all the hype surrounding it. To actually show so many stories from so many different perspectives and actually pulling it off is a verrrrry hard thing, and Baccano! is doing it beautifully.

My first impressions of Sharin no Kuni. The setting and premise is pretty interesting along with the protag but for some reason it feels that him being 'weird' is kinda forced. Yeah the vn does have a slow start, but it isn't so boring for me to drop it though. Since the route order doesn't matter much I guess I'll just go with the flow on the first play-through. Well I like anti-heroes a lot myself and well the protag being kinda 'evil' was meant to be plus point.

Sharin no Kuni It was on my to-read list for a long time. I got an urge to read it when it was there as one of the options in the vn club, and then decided to read it even though it wasn't chosen. It's being downloaded now, I shall start it tomorrow. Is there anything I should know before I start it ?

I don't see any reason to dislike Hanachirasu if you like info-dumps. Hanachirasu was the last vn I read and I did enjoy it a lot even though I'm pretty much neutral about info-dumps though I do have a bit of interest in sword-fighting so that might be one reason. The theme of Hanachirasu is pretty dark and the protag especially shows a lot of antagonist-like characteristics. And as down said it has a detailed setting and OST and CGs are good too.

Well Osadai is a light-hearted comedy with a bit of romance and action and sci-fi. It's major distinguishing feature is it's ridiculous plot and the comedy that follows. All in all it's just a bit different/better than usual average vns. If you wanted anything other than this then yeah voting for Osadai was a pretty dumb decision.

Sharin no Kuni It always felt odd that I hadn't yet read one of the 'beginner' vns, well hopefully that'll change this month. Plus I've already read Cross Channel and Osadai.

Plastic Memories was enjoyable but felt average to me in most aspects.

I agree. I actually liked Crisis Core way more than FF7, the only interest I have in this remake is due to that prequel.

Finished my first play-through of Hanachirasu. It was a nice read, though nothing that occurred in the vn can be called nice, all the dark stuff was interesting to watch and I did like the fact that we get an 'evil' protag who remains the same throughout and doesn't change his ways after some sort of divine revelation or something. The art style was fitting for the vn and the ost was also good.
