I'll be there for both cycles. I wanted to recommend 'Welcome to NHK' too but I guess I was a bit late, and sooooooo I will go with Desert Punk. I shall recommend Rokka no Yuusha for the seasonal cycle. For anime vs manga thing I definitely won't say that anime is 'better', but in essence I do agree with Stray Cat that the level on engrossment and attachment I feel through anime is much higher than that through manga. Though interestingly enough I get the same level of engrossment while reading vns, and thus I ended up watching anime and reading vns, while being fairly detached to manga and LNs.

It's always nice to know more about Fuwa's past.

Started Hanachirasu and so far it's really interesting. I've read the first chapter and now I understand why people say it has a lot of info-dumps. And the evil-ish protagonist seems pretty interesting too. The last thing I watched was Nodame Cantabile so the contrast with switching to Hanachirasu is really huge.

I finished the Paris Arc yesterday and it was good but personally I liked the first season much more. Maybe the shift to more romance oriented didn't sit well with me. Nonetheless it was a great watch. I will get around to Finale after a while.

I would recommend Chaos;Head. It's a perfect fit for horror and mystery. It does have sci-fi too. Plus you could continue the science adventure series and then read Steins;Gate after C;H.

Finished it. It was definitely great. Well I had thought that I would slowly watch Nodame 3 episodes a day or something and expected it to be a slow dull ride but I was glad for what I got. Between all the anime that this club has got me to see Nodame is second only to Shin Sekai Yori. I'm confused if I should give it a 8 or a 9 ......... well I should be able to decide in a while. I'll get to the Paris Arc in a day or two.

I'll recommend Chaos;Head too. It's pretty unique, a must-read according to me. And yeah don't expect it to be like S;G. Take heed of what Kurisu and Vokoca said and you'll be fine.

Till now the piece which was the most impactful for me was Rachmaninoff No. 2 Well I don't really hear classical so I don't know how the anime's music compares with the original but the music is pleasing to hear so alls well. Reached till ep 11

Have watched till episode 8. My enjoyment of the show would have been surprising if I hadn't seen so many people over here praise it already. The music is good and as others have said it's not just a background thing. I am interested in seeing if it can go from good to great for me in the next 10 episodes.

I loved Sakuraba's character, even though he was one of the most pointless characters in the entire VN. Kiri was best girl, no question about that. I have a tendency to adore tsunderes <3 Spoilers~ Yeah that BGM is definitely the best one.
