It's been quite a while since I've been active, nearly half a year actually. I certainly hadn't known that I would be away for so long. Back then I had my entrance tests for under-grade colleges coming up so I went to studying and reduced net-time. Well that should have taken less than 2 months but as it happens I messed up the entrance tests badly for my first priority institute, which I had been pretty sure that I'll get. It gave me quite a shock and left me depressed for a couple of weeks. I did get into the college I had as second priority but the whole incident just left me a bit down, dunno I just felt dull about everything in general. Now after some months I'm mostly back to usual with the only change being perhaps a slightly lowered confidence level. I've lurked around a bit in the last few months but plan to be active and stay this time. Hope to enjoy Fuwa, the best online community I've known. Meh being sentimental isn't like me so I'll get on to the main point - ''Deciding new avatar, please halp" Since I change avatar very rarely this one will be sticking for a while. I thought that I'll use one from Overlord this time (which is my favorite LN). I've found 3 good ones, but I'm open for recommendations. You can recommend an avatar from anywhere doesn't need to be from Overlord only. I generally use male avatars cause it feels kinda weird having a girl as 'me'. Ironically both Rakudai and Asterisk aired in the same season. Having watched both while airing my distaste of Asterisk is pretty high.

Just finished Tokyo Ghoul RootA It had a lot of potential and it's many parts were indeed done well. But unfortunately they did not properly integrate the various parts. The pacing was a mess and every event kept on adding up more plot-holes and loose ends. The ending was especially weird, there was a nice buildup for an ending but then it just abruptly cuts off. Still even with all the defects, the latter episodes were interesting and fun to watch.

It will be very hard to implement the mechanic you are stating. If you are gonna make the decisions of your friends change your storyline/choices-you-get, then the large no of different story-lines will become difficult to manage and unnecessarily complex. To curb that complexity you will most likely have to reduce the number of choices, which in turn will make the game and multiplayer part of the vn have little influence.

Well my all time favorite would be Majikoi. The others which I consider borderline masterpieces would be Chaos;Head Cross+Channel Fate/Stay Night G-Senjou no Maou Hanachirasu Steins;Gate Tokyo Babel Dra+Koi

Hmm according to your definition, Akane from Hanachirasu would fall into the monster category right? Somehow I always thought before this that he was an anti-hero. Damn I just realized how much bias I had given him. Well I guess I can't help it, I just like Akane a lot.

Yeah!! Finally my debut appearance. Good, at least with one kill I won't be dieing without doing anything at all. But really this time was pretty bad for Team Down. I wonder how it'll be concluded.

As a randomized personality it's good enough as long as I'm badass in the battles

I mostly plan to marathon it after it finishes.

Have finished Sorami's route and going through Lilith's route currently. First of all I'd like to say that between Raziel and Sorami's route the similarity is majorly regarding the structure, the content(both story and fights) is definitely different. While it doesn't go in a completely new direction from the offset, there is a significant difference between the two routes, imo it doesn't feel repetitive at all. The major complaint that I had about Sorami's route was the trope they used. And with me now playing through Lilith's route I'm slowly understanding all the hype for Samael.

Finished Sorami's route in Tokyo Babel and going through Lilith's route now. Really at this point it's almost guaranteed that it is gonna become one of my all time favourites.

Currently the one I'm enjoying the most is Concrete Revolutio which is also the one I was looking forward to most. I tried out Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge on a whim and well now it's my second best for this season. The others that I'm watching are - Stray Dogs, Flying witch, Re:Zero, Sakamoto and Onmyouji. For Re:Zero, after watching the first ep I wasn't really into it and thought about dropping it. Hearing lots of good things about it I watched till ep 3 now and do plan to watch further. But even now it's only at the level of good and not anything great as some others feel. I don't really like the protag yet, yeah he's much better in ep 3 but still a bit annoying. And dunno probably the fact that I've read/watched many diff-world-summoning series lately is making Re:Zero feel dull.

Now the only ones who haven't fought are the GM's aaand ....... Me Yep this definitely means that I'm gonna come with full on OPness spreading Chaos everywhere. All the dark rituals (watching animu) that I've been doing all this while shall finally bear fruit.

Reading the best girl Sorami's route now. I'm currently at that extremely important lunch-box of doom choice. Well the route has thus far confirmed my hypothesis that indeed Sorami is the best girl. Though the fact that a lot of stuff will be a repeat of Raziel's route is saddening. I'll just make a blind guess that the main guy at the end of Sorami's route would be Astaroth, but then I've got no clue how the fight's gonna scale with respect to Raziel's final fight. If it's gonna be flashier and bigger than the first route I wonder what'll happen. As for the pacing, the second half of Raziel's route did indeed feel a bit rushed.

A week back I went and finished Mushoku Tensei. It was absolutely amazing till the very end. 9/10 One of my favourites and a must watch.

Well I feel that I should have hit the 1000 mark on the 16th so that my second anniversary of joining Fuwa would have coincided. Though having taken 2 years to cross the 1000th post mark is pretty slow. The time I spent in browsing the net per day is generally 1-2 hours which is isn't too long. I normally spend around an hour here on Fuwa daily. That combined with me being a somewhat of a lurker and really lazy accounts for my comparatively meager post count. I realize that not many people know much about me and even I haven't really participated in a lot of the threads so it's kinda understandable. For me Fuwa is the first forum where I actually lasted more than a month and before I had never really been using forums at all. Staying in Fuwa was certainly a great experience for me with it's spectacular community. Since I wanted to keep it short and sweet this is all I'll say. I truly thank every member of Fuwanovel for making it such a great place.

Finished One Thousand Lies quite a while back (wasn't able to post much recently due to net issues and then other work piling up). Well it was a great read and is definitely an vn I'd recommend to anyone looking for a comedy. Also I hope that many people would go and try it out as it really seems like only a few have taken notice of it. I am playing through Tokyo Babel currently, it's swell as expected. It truly rejuvenated my vn spree, and I've recently just stuck to it without much anime-watching. Well as a result even with my generally time-constrained pace I've already finished Raziel's bad end and will soon finish the true one as well. While I'm on it I'll just give my compliments to it's awesome fight scenes. Till now all the fights were new and thoroughly enjoyable, with barely any repetition at all. Also the duration of each fight is really well timed. And also I'm playing Rance 02 in-between my play-though of Tokyo Babel. Played till Stage 2 at the moment.

Finished it a while back. It was amazing. I really enjoyed the comedy and the characters. The story itself was well structured and the execution was done nicely too. I actually liked the ost quite a bit and all the tracks were well used. I do one question regarding Claire though:
