Dies Irae is like the most hyped vn for me. Hell the closest I came to actually starting to learn Japanesse was after seeing Dies Irae ......... unfortunately I soon learned that it will probably take 1-2 yrs after learning jap to be able to properly read it

Well there it's intended to be as such. That poll's (TM vs all) existence is basically to show how niche the vn community is and can unfortunately get easily beaten by fanboys of a single popular serie.

Guilty Crown - with its high quality of art and music you'd think it would be great. But nooooo people decided that jumping between 3-4 writers during the show would be good. The inconsistency of the plot and the characters both was just ridiculous.

Haven't really been commenting much about seasonal anime recently. I'm watching 4 animes this time, namely Boku dake, Genroku Rakugo, Dagashi Kashi and Phantom World. The first three are all great and even Phantom world is pretty enjoyable just that it's average in most areas. Genroku Rakugo is being watched by ..... none I guess, well seeing that it's a mature anime and one aimed at adults it definitely falls way out of the usual moe/fantasy stuff. It pretty unique and is primarily about how a person goes through life while balancing work/dream/love/friends. The execution is great, characters are great and the sounds are great too. Overall it's a great anime. If anyone wants to try it, watching the first episode is plenty to realize whether you'll enjoy the whole thing or not. Dagashi Kashi is great, enjoying it much more than I initially expected. The newer episodes are much better than the starting ones. The starting eps had too much focus on candies imo it kinda felt like a info-dump at times. The latter eps are much better balanced. Between it's three themes of comedy/candies/SoL, unexpectedly what I'm enjoying the most is the SoL parts. The episodes 6 and 7 centred around Saya-chan were especially wonderful.

Personally I don't really think it's necessary if it's that troublesome. Most of the things got repeated plenty of times anyway. I only said it cause Soulless Watcher seemed concerned about it

Really at this point the same things are repeated again and again, we already 5 full pages of the exact same thing. Let's keep it to some people enjoyed the scene some didn't, let the thread rest in peace.

Dies Irae and Muramasa is where it's at. Then Dies Irae should go beat the hell out of CCC.

Yeah you can pretty easily figure out how to get into most of the routes ....... except one ....

Yeah I do know it, but well the effect of your choices do show up later and not immediately which was one of the things asked so I mentioned it.

It will definitely be fun to watch. Between them though, Mahoyo is definitely the superior one.

Well Cross Channel is kinda like that. It's kinda hard to explain without spoilers, as CC does have a bit weird route system. You should probably read it though as it is a great vn. If you do try it, keep away from any and all spoilers.

Have to agree with Zeno here. Kanon's h-scenes in G-senjou were definitely the best of bunch. Though it wasn't great as such, it definitely counts as a pretty good one Her character did improve a lot from just being an 'annoying sister' in her route.

Finished Leica's route. It was fine. Ryuuga was kinda interesting but it did feel that he could have been much better though. Leica herself though was pretty shallow as character even till the end of the route. Next up is Ruri's which should be done faster as a lot is common with Al's route unlike Leica.
