  1. It keeps the people who make porn their way of life happy though
  2. I think the point dovac is attempting, quite poorly to make, is that the people who wanted 18+ continue to not put their money where there mouth is, and continue to pirate the 18+ releases. So, if people continue crying over 18+ releases, SP will still bring them, and release a free patch, but the base price of the game will go up to compensate. Sure, SP will lose some sales, and its more likely the prices will not double as it was just dovac being angry in the heat of the moment, but the community essentially brought this upon itself.
  3. its fucking porn. go to sad panda, have a fap, and get on with your sad, beta life. Honestly... this is cringe on all levels, by all parties involved
  4. DONT DO IT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT READ LITTLE BUSTERS
  5. The House in Fata Morgana is 20 hours-ish (I clocked in at 24), and has fantastic music. I'd also say its super upbeat but I'd be a liar. Still though, its a fantastic read that fits 2 of the 3 requirements lol
  6. Its free, is basic, and is formulaic. All good things for most people making the jump from anime to VNs (which is how I feel most do it anyway). Its like going to school. You don't start with the crazy stuff right away.
  7. RIP 10 isnt so bad on a clean install. Took a bit of tinkering (mostly bloatware on my new laptop) but upgrading to 10 seems to ruin a lot of things. My girlfriend went from 8.1 to 10, and wants to chuck her laptop into a wall every few days, having to boot it into safemode every couple of days to restore her vanishing start menus, and taskbars. So, formatting the HDD is the best way to upgrade OS generally.
  8. Just read whatever you wanna read. If you aren't enjoying it, or you aren't having fun, there is no need to force yourself to finish something just to finish it. That will lead to you hating the medium, and becoming a bitter, angry person when dealing with VNs. If for you, you cannot enjoy a VN after finishing a route because you feel like you're betraying them, so be it. Move on to the next one. Maybe after a few months, youll be able to go back and finish the original one.
  9. ooooh a Fuwa politics thread. I am sure to love these super informed opinions, sweeping generalizations, and of course, apocalyptic predictions. Its like 1996, and 2000, and 2004, and 2008, and 2012 all over again.
  10. Weebs are a plague to society and I wholeheartedly advocate the imprisonment of all weebs around the world to ensure the survival of humanity, for the betterment of our futures. Genocide, starvation, terrorism, all of it the result of weebs. If you are a weeb, please kindly delete the system32 folder and remove your presence from the internet so we are no longer subject to your drivel.
  11. why couldnt you stay dead
  12. Weeabo: That weird kid in school who everyone picked on because he wore a Naruto headband, showed off his sugoi ninja moves, called people baka, smelled like he never showered, long greasy hair, etc. Otaku: That weird-ish kid in school that said he enjoyed anime, and left it at that, but otherwise functioned like a normal human being who did not feel the need to rub his hobby all over his body, and into the faces of anyone in a 5 foot radius. In other words, a weeb is someone who feels the need to tell everyone that they love love love love Japan and its culture, while being woefully ignorant on said culture. Anyone who does not like anime is a baka who is being very mean. Weebs usually have a massive persecution complex and feel that anyone who remotely criticizes them is doing so out of malice, or a hatred of Japan, and they fail to see that they are simply annoying as shit. Yes, some sports fans act very similar to weebs. An otaku is just a fan of anime and Japanese culture that also feels the need to be part of a group so they don't feel so lonely.
  13. That would require people to actually think, and watch someone struggle. Anime fans don't want to do that.
  14. or perhaps, like I said, it simply isn't worth the effort for something we may use once in a blue moon, and those efforts could be better used elsewhere on the site? Its almost like the main staff of the site have other jobs, and are in school or something and don't have time to devote 40 hours a week adding features that will barely see use.
  15. Trolling within threads here really isn't a big enough of an issue to be worth the trouble of doing this, even if the software had this ability.
  16. With how much you all cry about censorship, I thought everything was censored. My bad.
  17. Its called being a kid and slowly growing up. I'd be more concerned if you weren't using your imagination like that when you were younger. As you grow older, you basically grow out of those imaginary worlds.
  18. Its already the norm. Pretty sure the hardcore anti-censorship crowd already lost this battle a while ago.
  19. He just arrived in Istanbul. Coup was poorly handled. They didn't get control of media, and don't appear to have gotten any gov't officials that matter.
  20. You just wrote a wall of text to essentially repeat what we've all been saying lol we are trying to get him to simply understand. Not change his mind on the issue, but to just understand why it is the way it is.
  21. "Copyright for Dummies" Coming soon to a bookstore near you.
