The House in Fata Morgana was way better than I was expecting. I bought it mostly for the art style, and knew next to nothing about its story.

They're mostly positive so far merely because I haven't gotten around to reviewing it yet.

I'm good at memorization. Hence why I enjoy history so much as well. Plop me over into math/engineering, and I'd have the same reaction you do to geology.

My interest in astronomy is actually what led me to switch majors from history to geology. I loved studying how Earth, and other planets formed in the solar system, and its just neat to picture and see what Earth looked like hundreds of millions of years ago to billions of years ago. Astronomy, though, has a lot of aspects I wasn't too keen on making a career out of, so I decided to get into geology, and study the physical history of the Earth. Of course, I'll likely end up working in a hydrology field in the end anyway

Again, its a 4 hour section at the end that drew my ire. The first 12-16 hours are fantastic, and incredibly enjoyable to read. And, some people are fine with the things I've criticized. @Nerathim is not alone in his opinion on how these ending flashbacks are handled. I've spoken to others, before I wrote this review, who shared his opinion on it.

Nearly everyone on the forums. While yes they are integral to the story, they felt like reading a textbook in school. My enjoyment of what I'm reading comes first, and I found myself very bored there towards the end, even taking a week long break away from the VN to recharge my motivation to finish it.

This has caught my eye for sure.

The finale was well done, but that Final Door was tough to get through, despite its content being very good.

I like UIs that sort of act as part of the game and not just info delivery. For example, a UI being on a cellphone menu style, or whatever. Shit like that makes me happy.
