Remember that one time that I said your personal opinion has no bearing on the law? You can think the law is stupid, outdated, silly, horrible, or any other synonym of bad. That doesn't change the fact that the way the laws are written, it is viewed, and treated as stolen property. End of discussion, unless you intend to discuss the morality of the issue, which is a whole other can of worms that I could care less about.

I have not, but I have played Demon Gaze, from the same studio. They might be good games, but I personally am simply not a fan of dungeon crawler games.

Saw a tweet from the publisher that they are looking into adding a disclaimer in the game as well about play order, but they don't seem intent on locking it away like After Story or something.

Its crazy that they possibly did worse than SO4. triAce used to be the cool kid on the JRPG block. Always had a unique, interesting game to play (Valkyrie Profile, Resonance of Fate). Now its everyone hoping they don't screw up.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight got meh reviews (personally felt the gameplay was boring, almost plays a bit like Bastion, but hey, just my opinion as someone who owns it), but it is from the Disgea guys, NIS. Revival Edition for PS4 I'm sure features plenty of improvements. Again, if you like Disgea type humor, you'll likely enjoy this. Grand Kingdom is newish I believe, don't know enough about it to make a call. Sorry. Star Ocean looks like more of Star Ocean: The Last Hope, which is horrific. I absolutely hated The Last Hope (while loving Star Ocean 3 so shrug). Of the three, I'd go Witch and the Hundred Knight. Its charming in a weird way, has a different battle system than most ARPGs, and just seems to stand out more than the rest. In the future, I'd appreciate it if you'd at least tag me if you're going to call me out. Makes life much easier for me.

I'm trying to get across, that the what the courts have said is law. Your personal opinion is not law. My personal opinion is not law. Tay's personal opinion is not law. I am not saying that it is right or wrong. Just laying out the facts as they stand right now. The courts have ruled in the past, again, that fictional explicit child porn, is still child porn. The law is absolute, until it changes, and you are right. Laws are constantly changing. I am trying to show you, however, that this is a portion of law that I don't see changing anytime soon, due to the court challenges it faces, and the constitutional aspect of it all.

The courts determine the validity of law. The court system has done nothing to contest the current child pornography laws. It is how our government was formed. Read the constitution, it explains how the court system works. A law is a law until the Court systems determine that said law violates the rights of an individual. Their was actually a court case regarding child pornography back in 1982 called New York v. Ferber. In it, the Supreme Court of the US (of which Puerto Rico is a territory and subject to US law) ruled that child pornography is not a right protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution. So your road to legalize fictional underage sex is even more uphill now, as someone would need to get in trouble for it, get arrested, appeal to the Supreme Court, and have their previous ruling overturned. Alternatively, a Constitutional amendment would need to happen, which requires an insane amount of public support. In short, the true legalization of loli porn, in the US at least, is not going to happen anytime in the near future, and I'd wager that it will never happen.

It is classified by the courts systems as child porn should they come after you for it. Its similar to piracy tbh. Its illegal, but its rare to see someone taken in over it. However, if you do get taken in over it, you would most likely be found guilty, as Nosebleed showed with his links. If you want to change it, the best way is to start polling people. Provide politicians with real, hard numbers saying, "Hey, a large number of your constituents would like to see the laws regarding child pornography altered to no longer include works of fiction, or visual representation of fictional underage characters." Politicians act in the interests of self-preservation. They will usually do what they think will win them re-election. So, get their voters to care, you get the politician to care.

No politician in their right mind is going to go after child pornography laws. These are laws that are not going to be changed. I feel like there is no reason to change them, with the exception of ensuring that the accused are not automatically treated as guilty (which is a far bigger problem than silly porn games in my eyes).

In the US, and most other western nations, get caught with what a court can declare child porn, your life is essentially ruined. The mods do a pretty good job here, but alas, spoilers can sneak in. On top of that, what one person considers a spoiler, another person might not. For example, I know some people that just mentioning a character type (like tsundere or whatever) is a spoiler. To truly avoid spoilers, one must basically never go online, never watch trailers, never read reviews etc. And again, I know people who don't watch trailers or read reviews. They like going into things with a completely blank slate. I didn't say I enjoyed spoilers. In fact, I think I was pretty clear that I do not enjoy spoilers I completely understand where you are coming from. I get that you are venting, sorry if something got spoiled for you. My suggestion again, just stop with anime youtubers. Youtube suggestions will end up giving you spoilers, no matter how careful you are. You'll save yourself from a lot of anger. Then again, if you find the one you do like entertaining enough, then maybe its worth the risk my friend

I do understand where he is coming from with the spoiler titles/thumbnails. Youtube recommendations essentially spoiled Clannad and ef for me when I would pull up the OST or something. Those are a damned pain to avoid.

Protip: Don't watch anime youtubers.
