You already left Nekopara out because "its not a VN" and now you are going to not include anything MG does because "99% of the stuff they localize, no one even wants AO or not" What? Fact is, if there was money to be made in AO releases like you want, they would already be doing it. Trust me. The people who want AO are louder vocally than their actions are. You might not be that way, and will buy an AO release the moment it comes out, but you are the minority on that.

Just from what I hear, 18+ releases, that are not nukige, have been selling like absolute shit, not just from Denpasoft, but also from Mangagamer. The market is louder than the money it spends. I guarantee you, a steam release of a VN will sell better than the 18+ version. Because people will find another excuse, and another excuse, and another excuse to not buy the VN. As for Grisaia, with the sheer amount of meddling that Frontwing has been doing, it would not shock me to see that be a situation out of their hands, and if not, a separate release is likely due to them using two different labels for their All-ages and 18+ stuff. Unfortunate, but understandable as they want to protect the money wing of their operation, Sekai Project, from the "throwing scraps to the muh porn" crowd wing of their operation. Also, he hasn't announced the 18+ stuff. Expect to see it later in the summer. The stuff he tweeted is like, 3 days old, and con season is just getting started.

Steam releases make more money. Until the companies are proven otherwise buy everyone buying 18+ only, they will release all ages versions on steam. Plain and simple. I'm confident its a case of a silent majority that doesn't care about ero content being cut with the vocal minority being the ones that do.

So where do I pre-order?

That has me excited too. I hope they learn from Panzermadels, in which they did a lot right, and shore up some of the technical issues they had. The North Korea game should have far greater appeal than Panzermadels, which is limited in who will appreciate all of the jokes.

For the time being, numerical scores are not going away. If people want, I'd be more than happy to open a suggestion thread to discuss our various practices. I'd rather get people who are interested in joining the team, and willing to follow the style, and deadlines we have. So, thats why I have them come to me instead.

Hello all. Today, I am once again opening up applications to join the FuwaReviews team! Our numbers are a little small right now, and with the increasing number of releases, we need to bolster the ranks a little bit. Right now, I have two slots open, with one of those slots being a specialized slot for the Reviews team. The specialized reviewer will mostly be handling otome and/or yaoi games (NTY for example). To apply for a spot, PM me any of your reviews, or a link to one of your reviews. Make sure to read a review or two from our team to get an idea of how we review games, and the style of our reviews. We are looking for someone willing to adapt to our style of avoiding spoilers as much as possible, being clear and concise, and not sugar coating what we think of any particular game. So things like individual route reviews, showing a strong bias against a genre because it goes against your tastes, and super wordy reviews are a no-no. We have very few requirements for members of the reviews team. The biggest one is that I ask all reviewers to write at least one review a month. If a product key is provided by a company, that review is to take priority over all other reviews, and I expect the review out in a timely manner.
