  1. Just as Kosaki says. The release of the full patch to this Eroge is synonymous with the end of the world.
  2. Confession: I have spent the entire day listening to music and it wasn't a waste of time in the least. Utopia Melodia

  5. Don't worry, the author of SubaHibi isn't pretentious.
  6. Because that list isn't even near all the stuff that's referenced in SubaHibi, i.e. very incomplete as a list. I guess it's still useful and I would've linked it before, but it only lists the majorly referenced stuff that stands out. Even the subtle and minor referenced stuff are just as relevant to the story and its themes if picked up on (part of the extra 'homework' Nosebleed was talking about). I've heard that someone plans to update that list and include everything, so I'm hoping for that.
  7. Part of what makes SubaHibi so highly regarded is that it manages to make itself accessible to any type of reader despite also showing off a rather fair amount of ideologies to its readers. In other words, you don't have to be well-versed in Wittgenstein or Kant or any such philosophy (or even the literature references) to enjoy the story because it was constructed to simplify those ideas to its readers. Although if you want to understand aspects of SubaHibi on a much deeper level then the material is there to be studied.
  8. Think of the hype for SubaHibi as the same type of hype for a work like Umineko (this does not in any way imply that Subahibi is similar to Umineko, which they're not xD). Both stories sort of stand out amongst the rest in the medium as they have set out to do something a bit more special presentation-wise (not that that means the story's quality is equal to how 'unique' it is though). Whether it succeeds or not in being #totallyuniqueandcool is up to the reader, given from my observations just as many people disliked Umineko as the people who practically worshipped it came along. Anyways, this is generally the selling point of SubaHibi. (post #3)
  9. Looking forward to another pretty cool mystery Visual Novel (not the best) in English. I will play it once its out. くすくす
  10. Confession: I don't understand Subarashiki Hibi. Confession: Red hurts my eyes. くすくす
  11. Kitto, Sumiwataru Asairo Yori mo, aka. The Milktea Eroge.
  12. I'll truly forever remember my experience with one particular eroge that made me cry the most out of any, as my younger sister (imouto) saw me doing so after I stormed out of my room in an emotional panic. I was never the same from that day forward.. Imouto told my parents about it the next day, because she's a tsundere with 90% tsun and 10% dere.
  13. About everything majorly referenced in SubaHibi is easily accessible except for the Tractatus. xD I would also recommend The Black Swan by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, it's p cool and relevant too. There are a whole lot more works referenced in SubaHibi but a certain someone has yet to complete a list of every single one for the public. >_>
  14. The cliffhanger is ARRRGH. I'll probably just read the stuff referenced while waiting. In other news, I'm thinking of changing my avatar to Yuki or Kimika. They're my favorites, after all. Maybe Yuki for seiyuu consistency. Which of the referenced works will you be reading?
  15. Oh hey, Kitty-tama~! I've actually lurked around on those 'other corners of the internet' you speak of, and it was per chance (or perhaps not xD) that I was originally introduced to playing Euphoria from your praising (and it's quite a fantastic game indeed, with one of my most memorable eroge experiences in addition). In regards to the topic of a highly-valued/favorite work, my own "obsession" would be an eroge called Subarashiki Hibi, and I've been singing the praises for this title similarly here as well as in other eroge related communities. Also, I shall take a listen at your covers, and you're a cool person so I hope you enjoy your stay within our active yet easygoing community here. ^^ Welcome to Fuwanovel, the ultimate bastion for eroge dreamers. Edit: Just listened to 3 of your covers (including 楽園の扉) and.. Wow, this is some absolutely spectacular work you've done here. o.o
  16. Krill, although we haven't talked very often, I enjoyed every single conversation we happened to have - so please, get well soon and stay in good spirits whilst on your road to recovery. I'll be wishing for you to have a quick recovery at that.
  17. You're walking on the slippery slope there..
  18. おはよう。 『チェシャ』という私の猫がいつまでも相手をしたいかな? (*‿*✿)
  19. Not spoilers for the story/plot, but rather some information regarding the choices in Jabberwocky I:
  20. Pretty hyped about this thanks to certain people. :3 But yeah, I absolutely loved the Ar Tonelico series and then Mana Khemia in particular from them. Atelier series too, but that series would equate to consumable candies compared to the slices of cake or pie that are the aforementioned. Everything Gust does in terms of music and the OST department is golden, though. No matter what game/series it is, it's hands down bound to be quality. Also, "and will be an action-RPG from Keisuke Kikuchi of Deception and Fatal Frame fame." has suddenly made me even more hyped about this.
  21. I recently finished a manga nicknamed KoiLog. It's, like, the funniest most cliche manga ever (SoL/Comedy/Romance/Ecchi), akin to a mere short story standing at only 19 chapters. My absolute favorite due to the lulz, MC being a complete rip-off of TWGOK's Keima, and a story about Eroge (Hey~ I play eroge). 10/10 It taught me how to get a 3D girlfriend!
  22. I sit completely upright in my rolling chair (because my posture can at times represent the seriousness of my stance on reading, yes), with my PSVita in hand in-case of an emergency where I need lighthearted work training. I don't own an iPhone. In the event where I need to play a kamige, I prepare myself accordingly by bringing out my glasses and reciting lines from a manga that rips off TWGOK in my head. I tell myself that I 'should reach the ending', in a way that makes it seem as if it was inevitable that I'd do so (kamige's are both extremely easy and difficult to finish). I lay down on my bed to fap for anything, even my own imagination. I try to stay away from eating any or all foods because my room is already devoid of 'content' enough that I feel it would be tainting it just to bring an empty plate inside. In the event where I decide to replay Subarashiki Hibi (for the umpteenth time), though... Well, I don't think it's safe for the human mind to say what I do to prepare myself for that. I guess my name (referring to the one in my sig) is a good enough hint to explain. I'm relatively serious about my experiencing of all forms of otaku media, so this is probably just the tip of the iceberg for me from hereon.
  23. Sakura no Uta is fully deserving of all the hype and more, since Sca-ji is pretty much a genius scholar and storyteller both at the same time (so you can definitely count on the notion that the story will be clever/ingenious). Although note that he isn't going to rely on the traits and aspects of storytelling he used in his previous highly regarded masterpiece, SubaHibi, in the writing of Sakura no Uta. Putting aside the obvious fact that we know Sakura no Uta will most likely contain dense philosophy and literature references alike (indicated by the OP as he intended), we have no clue as to how the story will integrate with its ideas as Sca-ji was most adept at in SubaHibi via using darker elements. He made it clear on Twitter that SnU won't contain the same type of fucked up content that SubaHibi contained. The OP certainly leads to hype, but SnU as a whole right now is a big unknown. One thing is for certain, that the Sakura no Uta of before (the manga, VN, etc.) has been completely changed up by Sca-ji. He stated in a tweet that this will be nothing like the original or what appeared for people who read the manga or played the trial of the unreleased VN. After all, what is out there right now of Sakura no Uta is not even written by him, putting aside the fact that he had planned to write it in full for ages already.. Whatever, either way, I'M SO FREAKING HYPED FOR THIS RIGHT NOW GUYS!
