  2. Ty guys. <3 I'm really bad at rhythm games in general but I'll get there soontm . Mainly playing this because I really love Love Live lol.
  3. Speaking of catchy/addictive songs that never leave one's head, I have had this particular one stuck in it for weeks and it's amazing. No escape. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWUnQVxgQPc What I would do for a full version/extended version... Man, I really should finish Gintama one of these days...
  4. Lol oh trust me Muramasa is no joke with the text later on.. :trauma: Also, just screenshot the unhookable parts and look up the vocabulary you don't know in a dictionary via the dictionary's radical look-up (like jisho's). It may seem long and 面倒くさい, but you'll probably have to at some point get used to that since you'll also be dealing with completely unhookable VNs that are out there. (which there are a lot btw x.x)
  5. I just started this game because I finally obtained a device to play it on, and.. I'm absolutely terrible. Will I really be alright from hereon after? Idols sure are qt though. :3
  6. Now, I would be another one of those people who ultimately recommends SubaHibi first and foremost, but since a few others have already done so, I'll try recommending two different works that you might enjoy depending on several factors. If you want a (highly) rewarding experience story-wise and theme-wise, and are able to handle extremely descriptive Japanese text alongside chuuni dialogues, then I recommend Muramasa. Like SubaHibi, I feel that it's a game pretty much everyone should play at some point regardless of their preferences. However, if that doesn't sound all that palatable to you, then how about an intelligent comedy and writing-centric title like Oretsuba? Both are rather mainstream titles. Otherwise, all else I'd have are overly niche VNs even ranging from doujin games. I'm trying to avoid recommending something too inherently niche here, but if you ask me, I can find something from that category as well. Did I win?
  7. 弁証法的論理学螺旋階段

  8. I'd actually recommend Totono to be one of the first VNs to read for anybody who's just entered the beginning stages of learning JP. It's seriously that easy to read. Whereas SubaHibi pretty much stands at intermediate level in terms of reading difficulty, so it wouldn't be recommended unless you've exposed yourself to the grammatical principles of the language for at least a few months.
  9. I also loved the scene in the attraction parc. That was pretty damn creepy, SCA-Ji sure is a master of the denpa-kei. I'm really curious what direction it'll all take now. Wonderful. We saved a spot for you here in The Globalized SubaHibi Reader's Cult for this particular occasion. (*‿*✿) More importantly though, but are you going to be using a guide for the choices in the Visual Novel? There's really only one complete guide out there, so I'm not sure as to whether or not you're using that one. I think I may as well at some point make a simpler one here on Fuwa because it's very crucial experience-wise (for the best experience possible) that you go through the choices in a certain order. (and SubaHibi's due for full translation this July 20 anyways) Just in-case and for future reference, I'll give you my simplified guide in the spoiler below. By the way, what's your opinion on Yuki? :3

  11. Currently playing the great Dies Irae. Specifically, the Acta Est Fabula edition since I want the uncut content. Though, I plan to go through the slightly bothersome process of reading the other version for the extra content in that version, but that's put aside for later because I just want to experience everything I possibly can now. And then some. My impression of DI is that it's fantastic mostly due to how cool it is to read it. Pretty much.
  12. Wow, just as I start playing Dies Irae this is announced. Cool. I don't really have any expectation that this will meet the standard of properly adapting the whole work (unless it turned out to be a 50-episode series or something), but I believe that it will be quality either way. More like I have faith in it to be, since this is Light and their ambition we're talking about here.. And at least the prospect of a Dies Irae anime is something to majorly fanboy over even if it turns out awry. Seems like absolutely nothing could go wrong here. : >
  13. Honestly, there's only like 2-3 bad endings that you need to gather more details on the plot. I'll list them in the spoiler here:
  14. Confession: One particular app game had me suddenly playing it for the entire day when usually I'd give it no second thought. このゲームに捕らわれる…… 助けてください。
  15. Hype can kill, my friends. (*‿*✿)
  16. Some of the works listed in this image are relatively easy to read, and can ultimately aid you as a test of your Japanese reading ability. However, I'd say you're better off specifically selecting from this list something like Flyable Heart or Harumade Kururu from each of those two categories, before moving on to what I'd consider intermediate-level reading titles. (Say, Parfait and Subarashiki Hibi) This list is quite outdated, not all the Visual Novels shown in it are necessarily what I or a lot of other pronounced 'Untranslated Eroge Readers' would consider beginner-level for reading. Whatever the case, reading anything will act as a form of testing your ability to read.
  17. Subarashiki Hibi ~Furenzoku Sonzai~ has quite a lot of Wham Lines throughout, but I'll just list the more prevalent ones that would be considered most shocking to many people including myself. (WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE ENTIRE PLOT OF SUBAHIBI DO NOT OPEN UNLESS YOU WANT THE STORY RUINED FOR YOU FOREVER) In all of these instances, I majorly freaked out, inadvertently affecting the lives of the people who share the same living space with me. Really no other VN I've played after SubaHibi has blown my mind to such an extent using Wham Lines (except maybe Muramasa, Harukuru, and Kusarihime). I should probably play Dies Irae soon to overturn that statement, lol.
  18. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZF5pLDPJRY そんな楽曲が猫叉Masterの複雑さそう以上だと比べる。 だが、猫叉Masterは何より多様なアーティスト。
  19. Severe addiction to Kiseki right now because I just reached the part in The 3rd where this song plays! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sgb3ishuK0o The song title even speaks for itself here!!! I will devote my soul to this series alongside Atelier. (❀◦‿◦)
  20. Forever maximum Sca-ji hype. I will literally buy this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8zRkNAePcY ARGH! I want July to come already. ;_; Until then, playing SubaHibi for the 8th time to prepare.
  21. Welcome back. I have something amazing for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7o0_Nw25hTA
  22. Subarashiki Hibi is a very highly-regarded scenario-ge (a VN that focuses heavily on its story and story presentation) and utsuge with dense philosophical writings/literature references. I'd go as far as to say it's one of the most intricate and genre-busting stories in a VN of its length, and it certainly treats the use of philosophy as a literary device the most seriously. SubaHibi would also be one of the only stories, probably in all of JP media, to ever use Wittgenstein's philosophy as a sole reference point. That and etc. are generally the selling points of SubaHibi. Of course, none of this is without warning, as the numerous tags would lead you to believe it's some dark nukige instead. SubaHibi contains a lot of twisted H-material and pretty depressing themes which many say to be worse when comparing it to a work like Saya no Uta. Also, the H-scenes are all quite plot-relevant so you can't do any ctrl'ing through them. These are either, 1) more selling points in SubaHibi's favor, or 2) a complete deal-breaker. As for what the story's about, all I'd really want to tell people before they dive into it is that; SubaHibi is about a group of people's dealings with the world's imminent end.
  23. I will RIP in July because that's when Sca-ji is going to destroy everyone's minds with this:

    1. Bolverk
