All discussion aside. Many of us have played Grisaia no Kajitsu and we all loved it. When your a fan of the something wouldn't you want to see a remake with all of the story? But also as true fans we must be accepting that not all people find entertainment in the sexual content found in VNs and that Steam is going to support that. I mean look at Steam, you just go to the visual novel tag list and you obviously see its new to this sort of thing. We should not have "deal breakers", we must support what we love. If you don't like what's happening, that's okay. But you have access to a version that does have H-scenes, don't take that for granted! So I think we should come together and appreciate the fact that VNs truly are becoming more popular. It will happen in due time, like any fashion or fad we will have our day in the limelight

Sooo I think we shouldn't have a MotM at all. Im just plain sick of seeing that widget (even minimized). It hasn't even been around that long and is clearly not being updated. GetterEmperor should have gotten the title for completing the list before anyone else. Seriously, WTF is up?

Panty and Stocking was meant to be a parody of western animation, pretty much to make fun of the US and all of western culture. I doubt that another season will be released because they made the point they were trying to get across.

Welcome to the community, I hope you enjoy your time here If I remember correctly that was a kinetic novel, a game without choices. For a game about Miku I thought it was actually quite good. It did get a little bit emotional, a much better pick than having any nukige as your first in my opinion. I will throw a recommendation out there too, Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo

That game is quite short so you should be able to unlock all the CGs without one. Just create multiple saves and figure it out the old fashioned way

If you have played Ever17 and Never7 you might as well play Remember11 to finish off what you can play in English of the series. You might also want to try out Swan Song, I though it was pretty mindblowing

When I first got my own computer I was rather technologically impaired and couldn't find any real visual novels. I found a KN called Ripples but that was just a teaser. Eventually I came across Fuwanovel and the rest is history. Sono Hanabira was the first visual novel I completed. I played it along side Clannad so I guess I had two visual novels that got me interested in the medium.

The contest has been updated and semi finals from each Group are over. Shinobu is still going strong <3

I downloaded the game and I've been fiddling with the script file. I'll let you know if I make any progress. If we can get the script extracted I'm also willing to help you correct the grammar issues

Took me a while to write it up in a more coherent way. Well here goes nothing~ Characters: The female lead is a dandere, quiet -black haired- girl in public but is more open when in private with the male lead. She comes from a wealthy family and is always seen driven to school in some nice car. I haven't developed the male lead as much but he's an outgoing/popular attention getter. Plot Development: The two main characters meet in an awkward situation right before graduating high school and they become close friends (perhaps a cliché of him jumping from the sidewalk to push her out of the way of getting hit by a car as she crosses the road. She falls on top of him and their eyes meet). Forward to university. They both attend the same school where they are always seen together but only in groups. The reader sees they are closer when in private Climax: After a day of them being together the female lead says goodbye a gets into the car she is always driven in. The climax is where the female lead gets into a car accident. The male lead hears an accident on a radio broadcast where the one of the vehicles matches the car he always sees her get into. The broadcast says that a passenger in one of the cars is seriously injured and all involved were taken to a hospital. The male lead (and reader) think she is the one who is seriously injured but we come to find out that it was really the passenger of the other car. The male lead is very scared and his friendship with the girl flashes before his eyes. He eventually finds her and she is only a little banged up. He realizes how deep his feelings really are after the scare, he confesses, and the two become a couple. Any suggestions or ideas?

Oh I have an idea for a Nakige kinetic novel that I've been ironing out for a few months now. I probably wont ever see it through so I'll just share the idea with the community

I am wondering why we don't carry more of the Rance games. We have Sengoku Rance of course, and Rance 3. If we have 3 why not 4 and its side stories which are also translated? I know most of them are pretty old and not very pretty to look at but we should acquire more of the translated titles. I bring this up because we actually have a page for Kichikuou Rance, which follows the story for 4, 4.1 and 4.2. The translation project for Kichikuou was finished last week so Ive been waiting for torrent to be uploaded

Looking at the old thread, which I'm sad I missed, it looks pretty fun. I would be interested in playing this indeed :3 Edit: If there's H-scenes then I'll be a playable character.

Are there any common programs that even notice the difference in locale other than VNs? Someone told me they switch back and forth because they shared the computer with a sibling. But that doesn't even seem like a valid reason...

I feel like AppLocale is not favored by our community... The circumstances in which AppLocale is actually useful are few and far between. I feel like a quick restart is a small price to pay for switching system locale back and forth. I never understood why people don't just stay in Japanese system locale?
