Just like everything else in the world, there are good and bad nukiges, just like there are good and bad VN. The point is: there are actually some good story-centered nukiges, whereas they'd normally be character centered (for the "plot")

I think it was a good read nevertheless, but if you really can't stand this kind of ending you can aways wait on the Memorial Edition, which has an alternate ending (currently being translated). Tomorrow I'm gonna start Rewrite and see if it's as good as people say it is. Hell yeah it is good! Just be ready as it is pretty lenghty. Back in my newbie days with VN I though of Shuffle as great.. Can't say the same right now. It is decent but not quite there...

Finished Rewrite yesterday.. Oh god. I found it pretty good, very good actually. I wonder if an anime adaptation might be in order depending on how good the LB Refrain blu-ray sells, that'd be awesome. On another note, I think it's about time I picked up Hoshizora no Memoria, but I'm kinda divided between it, Ever 17 and Dra+Koi.. I'm thinking in doing in in crescent time (game lenght) order, what'd ya guys think? xD

Well, so am I. But I did finish it almost entirely through a roundabout way. Basically, I played what has been translated so far (which is everything minus Miyako and True Route) and then watched the anime (takes place during true route lol~). The anime isn't half bad IMO, but ppl who haven't played the VN must have been pretty confused.

I was accompanying the manga when the anime aired, so I was relatively happy when it did but.. I didn't get my hopes up exactly because all the cutoff anime 12 episode bullshit xD Seriously though, I'm enjoying the manga more than I did enjoy the anime. Well, what's translated of it has already and still is surpassed by the anime (lenght-wise), but there ARE some slight changes that made me prefer one over the other. Overall it is a good series anyway. Favourite girl, Ai-chan of course! There are plenty Chiwa supporters already, plus she's not my kind of loli xD

Because of some pics I used as wallpaper on my phone, some classmates started saying I was a lolicon, even though I wasn't at the time, but you know how it is... you tell a lie a hundred times it becomes truth (or something like that). BUT, I'd like to say that while lolis are adorable, they're in the strike zone just like any other cute girls xD (though the only onee-san type I like is Momoyo) Really? From my point of view, it's quite rare for someone "to be" a lolicon, we're the minority here, so it's interesting to know it's evenly matched in other comunities xD To me, part of that cuteness isn't about the appeal of sheer appearance, but the personality is what counts the most to me in an anime / VN character. It's kind of obvious, since as it plays out, it's pretty rare to find and ugly anime girl (not impossible though). Some famous examples:

I'm sure everyone know how to discern reality and VN / galgame reality. It's as Steve said in some random post I've read, while IRL it's a crime or weird or whatever it IS pretty common in said environment, so I think everyone can discriminate fiction and reality. That said, appearances are indeed important, so making this clear is good in a sense, I just hope nobody gets too demotivated to post by it. TRUE lolicons wouldn't xD

Yes, you can play through Haru's route and then play the other routes with no lack of vital knowledge whatsoever to finish said route. However, I'd recommend you finishing the other routes first, not because of the understanting that you may or may not come to gain from them, but because of the depth of Haru's route. Unfortunately, Haru's route is, in comparison to other heroine's routes, much more "complete", in a sense, so it's not advisable (in my opinion) playing it first.
