I'll binge it either way, one day I'm so tempted to just learn all the hiragana now, so I can weeb out and just run around spamming ohayo gozaimasu (おはよ ございます) and any other elementary phrase that comes to mind but it'll probably screw me over on my quizzes, according to my syllabus we won't have a quiz on all of them until like 3 weeks in T-T Then it'll be katakana time, and unfortunately we'll only gloss over some kanji at the end, i guess that's reserved for intermed jp So for now I'll just practice spelling 'names' with my a-so hiraganas like Keiko けいこ and Saki さき

NW is a good charamoege. Yuzusoft in general make yummy charamoeges, too bad I got tired of full length ones and can only read shortass moeges like Nekopara nowadays, its just too boring to slog through normalities and fluffities for dem cute 2d grills

I've been listenin' to R11's 'Cue' lately... It's a somber tune, but it's pretty catchy too And my favorite track from Ever17 would have to be Hologramm, cuz Sora

Go read the Infinity series, they love to tackle your very question in their plot, do it!! In general I consider myself observer. Never insert myself as protagonist, even for the blank slate ones.

You need to get shot You need to get shot ~~ I find Sakura from Fate/Stay adorable and want to give her a big ol' hug I need to get shot

KnS2's ending problems got nuttin' on Remember11's disgrace of an ending ~~ You'll get some 15 hours of enjoyable mystery-suspense-dread in exchange for an hour of an incomplete/cliffhanger ending that only answers the tip of the iceberg of questions, do it ~~ I was supposed to read FataMorgana next, but frankly I need a break from reading all of these abstract scenarios and am itching for something more... normal. ish. with dem fictional modern day jp town / high skoo settings. Don't worry, I finished Fate/Stay & Ever17 two years after saying I would, the same rule will apply to Morgana. Hopefully. What? Flowers? All girls high skoo Innocent Grey with fem protag? That's too hypey. I'm going with ef - a fairy tale of the two, cuz akaritan's reading it

Finished Remember 11 Hotdamn, that's gotta be the most Mass Effect 3 tier absolute shit ending I've ever seen, which is a shame because Remember11 is actually pretty above average in terms of enjoyablility with all of the suspense, dread, and mysteries getting shoved down your throat as you individually go through Kokoro & Satoru's perspectives and experience their woes. Seriously, it builds up ALOT of questions over the course of these two routes, so you'd think the writers would throw in a lengthy True Route like Ever17 to masterfully tie in everything together again, but nope, this time they opted to give readers the GIANT middle finger instead and answer only a handful questions haphazardly before very abruptly cutting everything off. It could be that I missed something because I'm stoopid, I'll go scrounge around the net for answers just incase, but apparently there's no way out of infinity this time boys, suck it! Remember11: Story: 8- the way the narrative flows you will constantly be asking questions and be theorycrafting with the protags on wtf is going on so it's a great story in that respect Characters: 8- Protags Kokoro's 20% logic, 80% emotion vs. Satoru's 100% logic narratives can be quite entertaining. The other characters aren't too special, but the idea of DID keeps things interesting since you'll always be wary on who you can or can't trust. Ending: 1- It's the best ending if you want an ending that leaves you utterly disatisfied . I'm exaggerating, but it's definitely been a looong while since I've ever experienced a "that's it...?" feeling as huge as this one Music: 7- They have some catchy tunes every now and then Art 6- CGs actually look pretty nice for their time. Sprite's eyes are too detailed however- the male characters look feminine because of it TL;DR Remember11 is an enjoyable suspensful mystery involving multiple personalities, a race against time and nature, and aloooootta 'science', but don't expect a satisfying, fulfilling conclusion to be waiting for you at the end with open arms. 7.5/10 E: I take back everything I said about the ending except that it left me completely unsatisfied- upon reading this massive spoiler/theory https://explainremember11.wordpress.com/2013/08/18/the-meaning-of-the-incomplete-ending/ it's a nice food for thought.

Yo man I gotchu, you gotta go with the Dan to the Gan and Ron with the Pa or I'mma

Ya, that was some nasty grind. I got 90% of Kokoro's bad ends. The Yomogi one especially was eerie as FK, jeezus he's the last guy you'd ever want to lose his sanity. I'm going through Satoru's route now while also ctrl skipping through Kokoro's so I can chronologicalize everything. Kokoro wasn't really too much of a thinker, so I'm loving Satoru's more analytical perspective on things, and his inner monologue regarding Kokoro's drawing-response is hilarious xD

"Supipara's end result is a confusing mess of an experience I’m not sure is right for anyone except those looking for the most basic of light-hearted slice of life." Aight @tiags, this one's for you

Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak Academy (Future & Despair)
Eclipsed replied to Eclipsed's topic in Anime/Manga Talk
Alriiiight, Despair 8 is where it's at. That's what i like to see, confrontations between big name characters. Not a bunch of fodders running around like idiots like in Future. I usually hate Nagito but he always has some really brilliant moments -
I can just imagine an H-scene going like this

Finished Kokoro's route in Remember11, ending was ?????????, I haven't gotten all of Kokoro's Bad Ends, but there was a particular one that was executed quite well imo. Kokoro's usually a 'think positive! you have to believe!' type of protagonist when the chips are down, and so it was just great to see her finally give up, curse the world, and laugh hysterically as her impending doom arrived in one particular end. Chills. Starting Satoru's route soon^tm. Very interested in what the big mystery is. And goddamn the half n' half dual narrative, now I feel the need to reread Kokoro's route while reading Satarou's since they are opposite sides of the coin

fk, i was supposed to be able to do my TGIT BS today, but as soon as i got off work my supervisor was like 'yo u wanna work tmr morning' and i nonchalantly said yes, fk life righty, fork right knife left always.

Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak Academy (Future & Despair)
Eclipsed replied to Eclipsed's topic in Anime/Manga Talk
I can't get into Mirai, it just feels so underwhelming. Ya sure Kirigiri got some nice deduction spotlight, but honestly anybody should've been able to make that conclusion, ie. it didn't really feel Super High School Level Detective worthy. And more of these new characters are ultimately just a 'get a 5 second background clip + die like a badass' fodder. Ya ya, it's anime, limited time, what can ya do. Writers this whole time are really buying time and sorting out what characters they want to make it to the last couple eps for the grand finale; but so far everything has been FILLER. Idk, I guess I wanted 13 episodes of a DR anime that concluded the series, not 10 episodes of filler and then 3 that will conclude the series. -
Remember 11's pretty enjoyable, I'm on like the 5th day or w.e The shifting perspectives and the two main protagonists constantly trying to make sense of things indirectly with each other keeps things interesting, though it kind of drags on between days 3-5 as the situation slowly but surely gets more and more hopeless with no real progression on the overlying mystery, Kokoro's a good protag, fem protags are always cool, and I really like her occasional bouts of completely fawning over Yuni's cuteness No idea how Yuni himself relates to the grand scheme of things, Dislike the extremely high amount of bad ends (30+), they really itch my completionist side but most of them are just not worth the time getting since they're just "hur durr wrong choice, die!"

Sounds about right. I've never actually used flashcards myself throughout my years

Day 2 I'm comfortable enough to be that loud annoying ass guy that screams 'ohayoo X-san' or sayonara to all my peers though I think I forgot everyone's names already But we've started writing hiragana and oh-em-gee I'm gonna die, my standard handwriting's already ineligible to the max, and we gotta memorize the 'a' to 'so' hiraganas 15 chars for the quiz next week, and I only mesmerized a so far, fk i need flashcards In general though it looks like it'll actually be pretty easy to learn how to read them hiragana, then once you get all 46 down or w,e you can run around with your dictionary and conquer the world jk, there's still katakana and the dreaded kanjii, fk life
