Ever 17, on like the 3rd day The last trapped-survival-mystery I played was Root Double, which was thrilling, had a sense of urgency, and had death waiting on every corner right from the start. Ever 17 in comparison has a more... slice of life / casual feel to it? Oh noes, we're trapped, not much to do, let's play tag!@# I'm sure it'll pick up later later, but I can understand the complaints people had about its pacing and whatnot. Not a negative experience for me so far though. Takeshi has some decent banter with You and Tsugumi. Sora's really pleasant, too. Her idea of joke when it came to tag was great. Coco's aight, she's that innocent kid thrown in there to liven things up. There's glimpses of a bigger behind the scenes shenanigan going on with the whole '# of people alive =/= the measurements' or w.e along with talks of ghosties and some 'rat' running around.. we'll see how mindblown I get later~

6 First half of DR3 Future is a pretty epic flop, lots of very uninteresting murder mystery coupled with half of the new cast ultimately being fodder ie. a complete waste of screentime, but now it seems the latter half is finally setting up for a climactic finale with the rounding up of relevant DR characters and ermergawd, yeah people should really play or at least know about Ultra Despair Girls so you can fangirl at

I feel bad for people who can't enjoy sci-fi time travel stories that are reasonably explained within the confines of their ingame lore because of 'plot holes'

Finished S1 Fate/Zero, will watch S2 some other time It's always great to see the past in action, the nearly all-adult cast makes for a more mature atmosphere, and goddamn, the 4th Holy Grail War seriously makes the 5th one look like child's play ._. Kirei x Kiritsugu set up didn't feel properly done, based on everything you hear from Fate/Stay Night one would think their relationship would be on the level of Naruto's Hashirama x Madara, lots of build up and long term idealogy conflict, but nope instead it was kind of a shoehorned "Yo I never met this guy, but based on what I hear about him he is definitely 100% going to be my destined eternal enemy!@#" The Holy Grail War regulation sucks ass. There should be more higher ups observing things instead of having one dude that's obviously a corrupt pawn, like wtf. Too many mastermind plots going on from that position. After seeing Sakura in Zouken's basement, I just wanted to give her a big ol' hug ;-;... Reading about it in Fate/Stay is nothing compared to seeing it animated. Yeah, it's one of Fate/Stay's route weaknesses. Characters that are prominent in one route will become complete fodder in other routes. Sometimes I wish there was just one grand route that allows every character to have their moment in the spotlight instead of splitting it up into main focuses and villains ~~ That was the first ending I got I think it would've resonated with me more if Shirou had to make 'that' choice in addition to that, but I guess it's all the more poetic that he didn't even get the chance to and so we're just left with a big ol' "Wow... You know what? Fk Sakura. THIS is the True End!"

The opponents getting dumbified in UBW is because the main focus is on Archer, but they definitely get their own 'final boss' status in other routes.
