Finished UBW What can I say, I climaxed 923589348 times getting to see everything animated, that was quite a treat. Unfortunately though the UBW bias is so strong in me now I'm having the hardest time ever trying to settle into Heaven's Feel in the VN ._.

You played the first two games, right?6 This anime will be the conclusion to the trilogy, so if anything you should watch to know what happens There's no more Class Trials, but it definitely has the Danganronpa feel to it.

It's a "starter" VN because the experience of reading it will only be good if it is your starting VN; any later and it will be subpar.

Ends after the tournament RE: intentional- I guess?

Maybe Root Double, you'll get one story focusing on tense trapped-survival-mystery, another story focusing on casual high school slice-of-life, a grandish route picking up where the first two stories collide, and of course some plot twists thrown in there

Yeah, DR2 had a draggy start for me as well. I think it picked up for me around Ch 3, more or less because I grew more attached to the cast by that point rather than a sudden increase in the quality of the shenanigans & class trials going on or anything. Yeah, I have to change my 15.6" lappy's native 1080p to 720p and then window mode to acceptably read low res VNs. Full Screen is not an option due to the horrific blur and native's just too tiny.

Refrain so I could... appreciate the Good End ~~ I'm gonna be wasting time watching anime adaptation of Unlimited Blade Works (the prologue / Ep 1 was pretty good, getting to see Rin jump off the roof along with A vs. LCer) so it may be a couple days b4 I start Heaven's Feel.

What didn't you like about it? Too perfect? Too Sabery?

720p+ didn't really become standard 'til like 2011-12+, so yeah all those VNs you listed from '08-'10 are still 600p ftw My Grisaia runs at 720p, idk 'bout chu.

I just finished reading Fate/Stay Unlimited Blade Works, so now I wanna see this shit animated They don't accidentally slip in anything from Heavens Feel do they?

Finished Unlimited Blade Works. It's a solid 9/10, pretty thrilling late game shenanigans and emotional character confrontations. This was the type of story I was expecting when I was going through Fate route but nope get Saberblocked by Shirou Tohsaka Rin is now the best tsuntsun of all time for me; Archer's (still) probably my favorite character from this VN, great revelations about him; and Lancer wins the "Fastest time to get my opinion on a male character to go from 'meh' to 'epic hard-on'" award. Misc. SPOILS I have no idea what the hell Heaven's Feel will have in store, but I'm assuming Illya will have prominence in it?

Unlimited Blade Works is great, just passed Illya's farewell. For one there's no focus on Shirou x Saber so we're spared from Shirou spouting out his infuriating BS philosophies at Saber, I don't think he annoyed me at all so far this route, +1 Rin's still as awesome as always, Archer actually gets to have an impact on the story (and piss me off in a good way(?)), the conflicts and confrontations are more complex and entertaining rather than just consisting of Saber 1v1ing everyone ggez call it a day (i.e. fk everybody, especially Archer, Shirou x Rin dream team vs. the whole world np, gogogo!), and I can't believe a character like Illya who creeped me out so much managed to make me tear up this time around ._. Pacing's much better too. Fate route had to do ALOT of setting up, not to mention Shirou cockblocking Saber with his ridiculous reluctance to fight, and so there were many, many days wasted with Shirou just idling, training or getting magic lessons before anything interesting happened (then when it finally does, it's a very cliche 'must stop the evil big baddie!' - underwhelming and boring.) That's kind of a weakness with plot heavy multi-route VNs: some characters who have prominent roles in one route will get glossed over in another route due to the 'it'll be redundant!!' syndrome. Makes individual routes feel incomplete, sometimes I would just prefer one grand route that jams everything in there, have Berserker and Caster and Rider all wreak havoc before throwing in the G man to really make things look hopeless Favorite moment in this route so far: Really captured the intensity of the moment for me, and for once I shall cheer on Shirou's reckless superhero-must-save-all-even-at-the-cost-of-my-own-life attitude And it's #worth, especially for the scoldin' he gets after

I swear I've only been buying like, 1 LE a month, but already the tower is getting big It's a good thing I went flash sale digital for 90% my other Vita games, getting all the LEs for like, the Neptunia games would've eaten my wallet.
