Force recheck on the torrent to see if the download was corrupt, then try running system file checker to see if ntdll.dll is corrupt or something. Open command prompt by writing cmd into start menu search bar and enter command sfc /scannow.

The important part of the registry is : [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Key\Rewrite] "setup_dir"="H:\" "dat_dir"="path to rewrite" (e.g. H:\KEY\Rewrite\) "exe_dir"="path to rewrite" "dat_setup"="full" But I doubt registry is the problem since you are able to run the game. If you don't want to redownload it at least try forcing a recheck on the files with your torrent client to see if any files are corrupt.

If you have installed / uninstalled it several times already you might have messed up registry entries. Run the uninstaller, delete the whole Muv-Luv folder and clean the registry. If you haven't used registry editor before start it by writing regedit to your start menu search. Look for registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\relic UGP Applications and delete that. After this do a complete reinstall following the instructions. (Mount extra, run patch installer, mount unlimited, play).

If the make_rewrite_work2.bat doesn't work you can try with this instead (run as administrator in rewrite folder). Or you can manually insert the registry entries.

Sounds a bit weird xD One reason I can think of is that you have setup your speakers/headphones wrong. If you have set windows to use 5.1 speaker setup it will try to play voices through the center speaker but if you actually don't have such a speaker you obviously wont hear a thing.

Game cannot read/write that savefile. Make sure that file is not set to be read-only and that your user account correct permissions to that file. Check this post if you dont know how to set permissions/ownership.

Those images were resized down so much I can't read those errors at all but your files might be corrupt so try forcing a recheck on the torrent.

Latency wasn't actually too bad, I only had a couple of lag spikes. Even TERA EU servers had worse lag when it launched

I also loved the original and tried this when the SEA open beta started but I couldn't bring myself to like this one. IMO it feels like a generic mass produced MMO that takes a few nice things from the original RO, leaves some other things out and the only "improvement" is the graphics.
