learning remembering the kanji helps you when you actually need to study the kanji itself later on or with vocabulary, my advice is dont study each kanji onyomi and kunyomi reading or you will be insane after learning 300 xD (if you even can remember them all), learn vocabulary instead and by doing that you will be learning onyomi and kunyomi reading at the same time, for example 大好き <---- だいすき onyomi reading 大きい <--- おおきい kun reading , 大切 <--たいせつ, another on reading, and so by learning vocabulary (all this words are from N5 level) you already know almost the whole kanji on and kun reading (the onyomi should be in katakana but dont mind that)

This might sound obvious but I think you need to study until the point where you see something in a sentence and you can identify it, for example seeing a particle and know why is there, same with an adverb or adjectives, is the verb in a て form, what does it mean?why is a だから/から there and so on. The thing is when you are learning grammar if you don't know at least some vocab you will get very frustrated, for example if you are learning the も particle and you see this: peterは遊ぶ彼女もする, it looks very pretty and all but if you dont know what hell 遊ぶ or 彼女 then you are learning nothing...so you need some basic vocab to learn the grammar, so you should at least learn the vocab from jlpt5 to use the tae kim's guide (I think he uses the vocab from jlpt5 and nothing more, leaving aside the verbs)

what plataform? what ype of game was it, side scroller, adventure...

Learn grammar (this is the most important thing imo) and vocabulary, use memrise to study vocabulary or anki. If you want read learning the kanji too, this is of course if you already know the kana, if not then learn kana before doing anything else.

Once again clephas is right. Eien no Aselia: The original game. Does not contain the expansion routes for Kyouko or Tokimi. Contains 18+ content and an 'evil' route. Eien no Aselia EXPANSION: An expansion fan disc for the original game that adds the routes for Kyouko and Tokimi. Eien no Aselia - Kono Daichi no Hate de (PS2 Version): Includes the original game routes and all the routes from the expansion, adds new voice actors and art, and revises the battle system. Removes all 18+ content. Eien no Aselia - Kono Daichi no Hate de (PC Version): The same as the PS2 version, only ported back to the PC. This is the one we are translating. It comes with the second game in the Eternity Sword series, in the Sei Naru Kana SPECIAL PACKAGE. Eien no Aselia DIGEST: The original game turned into a pure visual novel, with all gameplay removed. Only contains the Aselia route. This version was only included with pre-orders of the Supitan fan disc. Eien no Aselia Special Edition A special 5000 piece limited edition released in 05/2010 that mixes the original PC version and Kono Daichi no Hate De, essentially re-adding the adult scenes and 'evil route'. Patch does not work on it. http://dakkodango.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=48

I don't understand it really, if you want to take out the ero-scenes go ahead but why censor the plot itself? before the sex scenes just give hints that the characters had sex or whatever and then continue on! dont freaking change the whole script because of that >_> I bought the game and I was going to play it but now that I know that it is censored I won't..meh
-
Looks good and the story seems interesting, if a kickstarter campaing is release I'll back it probably if there is no censorship at all, I'm saying this because when a game is released both on console and pc most of the time is censored.

do you know where can we get that patch? nvm http://dakkodango.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=89

VNR - Trial Edition Angel Beats 1st Beat
Deep Blue replied to Kessho's topic in Voluntary Tech Support
no, I mean using an external text hooker while still using vnr, in the option menu of vnr select the option "grab text from clipboard" and disable the texthooker of vnr, this way you will use the software for translating the vn(atlas or whatever translator you are using in vnr) but you are not going to use the internal software that vnr has to grab the text, which is not very good really. here is a tutorial for ITH you will need to run both programs at the same time (ITH and Visual novel reader) -
It's been a long time since I read this novel and I didn't understand anything of japanese at that time but I don't mind poor translations really (i prefer a bad translation over a censored one I'm looking at you sekai project...), if the story is good enough I just read it, however I don't like it when they use American slang in the translations('em, getcha etc) this is for some people what a good translator should do, which is to translate the content and make the reader understand what is going on even if it means to change the original idea that doesn't fit or it will be hard for western public to get it,. I don't agree with this at all.

welcome to fuwa muv luv alternative gets really good after many hours of reading, the first hours are like reading muv luv unlimited again (in fact you are ) nukige = vns that are nothing else but eroge scenes in other words, sex sex sex and nothing more <--- nukige and crap are synonyms lol nakige = vns like clannad, they are sad and probably will make you cry but the ending is most of the time happy, like clannad utsuge = vns like narcissu, they are sad all the way through and the endings are sad or bad, you wont find a happy ending in this types of vns.

what you are looking for is called "pragmatic protagonist" https://vndb.org/g1569?fil=tag_inc-1569.tagspoil-0;m=0;o=d;s=rating For example: sharin no kuni, I think the protagonist of this vn really fits in what you are looking for. grisaia no kajistu sadly there only a few vns like this and even fewer translated
