The only reason to use win 10 is to use dx12 and right now it's crap and only used in a bunch of games, but it's nice to see someone testing it and actually checking compatibility for VNs.

I think there are some people out there who cannot play other characters routes because of that feeling of "cheating" that you are describing, I've seen it a lot with katawa shoujo for example. Personally I can't play a vn and leave it half completed, it drives me insane knowing that I didnt' complete it 100% xD

for utsuge the only thing it comes to my mind for emotionless heroine is narcissu 3rd the mini chapter of irisu and setsumi from narcissu 1, I don't know if it is an utsuge either(I mean narcissu 3rd xD).. maybe a little bit from hatae from konakana but I don't think she really fits from what you are looking for .. and then another in One (that vn that looks like it's from Key ) there is one of the heroine that acts emotionless too.

Perfect? Narcissu 1st, why? the music, the character development, the realism of the story even the art was amazing even if minimalistic, for me it's a 10/10 (way better in japanese than in english because in english all the essence of the dialogues between setsumi and the MC are lost with the translation) worst, hard to say.. but according to my vndb it's dustmania and pico to chiko and yeah that's about right xD

Well sharin no kuni is a VN with linear plot, you can have different endings and some things will change here and there depending on your choices (most of the time H-scenes ) but overall it's an straight line/path story. I love those types of VNs (and kinetic!) because the story is most of the time more coherent and better developed rather than when you have 6 girls and the main character suffers from dissociative identity disorder, he acts in some way with girl A and total different with girl B and so on, still him being the same fucking person (this doesnt happen in all vns but in most of them it does..) or some girls you just know that they are filler just to add extra hours because their routes are so bland and cliched...

Well I can't talk about the story yet The characters are like in 90% of jrpg, the generous girl who loves every single creature and she would give her life even if it's to save a bug, the strong, bad-ass almost muted protagonist, the companion of the girl who loves everyone who is over protective of her and so on, all the cliche characters you can find in a jrpg are here which is not something bad or good I mean you are playing an jrpg game in 2016 from a triple A company, don't expect ground breaking stuff. Or maybe I'm wrong and later on everything changes... and even if it's cliched I still enjoy it. The story so far I have to agree, it's a pretty generic japanese story too, sacrificing one human (always a pretty young girl who is the most innocent and kind of them all) to appease the gods, monster or whatever The combat, leaving aside bosses so far I haven't had any problems, I do manage my team pretty ok since I'm fairly used to jrpg, and use the special abilities (the one you can combine 2 attacks for example) still I don't find it hard or anything, probably I'm too early in the game to give a proper opinion of the combat. The music and the art are the best thing of this game, even if it's reuses old music from other jrpgs I think it's pretty good and sets the mood pretty ok for the scenes, and I love snowy sceneries so yeah it just got me with that alone.

playing I am setsuna, I don't know why is it called that way when the original one is いけにえと雪のセツナ something like sacrifice and snow of setsuna(sentsuna's sacrifice and snow??), btw her name is a reference for pain or opression..so maybe the title is a bit over the top either way fairly good so far, the combat sometimes is a bit convoluted because you don't have much time to react so you just keep attacking and you win XD The music is good, the art too and the story...well can't say much yet but so far I think it's a good rpg.

It should be reasonably easy for you then to understand Spanish just like for an Spanish speaker is rather easy to understand Italian or even Portuguese without any knowledge from those languages. I studied Italian for 1 year more or less and I remember practically anything xD but if I hear or read Italian I understand a lot(even before studying it), maybe it helps a bit that half of my family speaks Italian ( yep i'm half Italian half Argentinian xD even legally.)
