wohoooooooo the books are finally here!!! They are a bit small and the font size is also a bit small (some furigana are hard to read) but no problem since the books are really good and they explain things in a really detailed way with tons of examples!

lol xD well even as a joke, there is plenty of material available to look for if you want to know how to draw, a lot of artists recommend to buy medicine books for that reason, not just for the anatomy but for proportions, and other types of stuff that I know nothing of because drawing is not my thing . I know some artists that they do their researches in medicine books, I had a long discussion with a member of this forum a while ago regarding this topic she was really obsessed xD on how bad the draws of genitals are in general in vns(she is an amateur artist), specially dicks, she also said the same thing about medicine books.

It was a joke still most of the time genitals in vns look really bad and unrealistic, is like they dont actually know how the anatomy of a human body is... (yeah you can tell even with the mosaics)

maybe she just sucks at drawing genitals xD

one minute they are drawing tentacle rape to some loli and the next one they dont want to show their draws uncensored, that's the Japanese thinking for you it's a puzzle for us westerns, but hey it makes sense for them so who are we to judge them, in the end is her decision (her art) no matter the reasons behind it we need to accept it.

btw 仲間 as chuugen technically isnt wrong, in pretty much all the cases will be wrong because well.. who the hell will use samurai attendant in a phrase? xD probably pretty archaic word too, I kinda wanna know why the parser decided to use that and not companion

like dergo said you can manually fix it with chiitrans, also the parser on vnr is really really bad, actually the parser in chiitrans is almost as good as Translation Aggregator and then vnr which is a mess and I would even call it worthless. Translation Aggregator>chiitrans>http://jisho.org/>anything else available>VNR parser > without editing anything. if you read my guide you will see that one of the main points I criticize from VNR is the parser itself

Only happened a few times specially with katawa shoujo, after playing lilly's route I couldn't bring myself to play the rest of the routes I had to wait a while after ending her route xD (like a month maybe? )

Does kirei fits into the description of "evil for evil's sake" ? I don't think so, evil for evil's sake are the villain in Disney movies (bland. dull, bad without reason, they just are, period.), kirei has a lot of depth into his character which you described really well in your review.

well at first there were little differences between the books and the tv show but now is all over the place, it doesnt look like game of thrones anymore and the producers dont want to end the show either(they said it..) so they keep adding bs... I just hope it doesnt turn into another "dexter"

Is hard to tell what makes a good villain because there are many ways to create a good villain, what I do know is what makes a bad one, being bad just for the sake of being bad, that sucks and is boring. If you make your guy bad develop him and his character a bit, dont say "here is the mass murderer of the story, look! He enjoys watching people die... because of reasons.." it doesnt work and it's lame, I hate when writers do that like Utawarerumono, the perfect villain imo is griffith from berserk but is a bit obscure if you havent read the manga so I'm going to name a few for reference: Kirei and caster from fs/n Azai gonzou from senjou no maou Masaomi from sharin no kuni

Again, you keep assuming things that do apply in most companies but not with SP, having a good communication with their public is a given and it is for their benefit too, specially when they rely so much on crowdfunding platforms to release their translations yet they dont do anything to fix this well known problem they have since pretty much they started.

Again you are assuming that that version was incomplete and unpolished, why? With that logic I can assume that their communication to the public is good or after so much time and problems with that issue they managed to improve at least a little bit... but then again that's not the case in fact is quite the opposite, they are getting worse even after hiring a PR man, so let's stop assuming things even if those things are obvious in any other company.

it's a business reality, yes, but that doesn't make it ok. specially with a KS campaign, I understand when namco bandai (to give a random example) does it with their games, dark souls 3 was released 1 month before to reviewers than on steam, but not with sekai project on this type of project. When they rely on kickstarter or any similar platform to fund a game you would assume that they will treat that specific public better than anyone else... that's the logical thing to do as a company... I mean without them many of their translation projects wouldn't have been possible which means less money... DavidB is their PR man...

The lack of communication from sekai is just terrible and when they do say something is poor and vague at best, also you are assuming that the review copies given were unpolished or in some beta state (bugs, typos etc) there is no real proof of that or anything else for that matter, the only real proof we have is that reviewers got their game earlier than anybody else and that the game for the rest of us is delayed *insert spooky sound here* "due to various circumstances"

This one has "vanilla" in the tittle Vanilla Beans xD it's hard to recommend you something without knowing what you mean by vanilla.

So any news on this? maybe @DavidB knows something... I mean, I know I'm not a reviewer or anything that important I only helped with the funding of the game...where is the game???? btw my apologies in advance if this is another of those things you can't talk about for reasons that cannot be said...
