Can NEKOPARA be turn into a long running series?

Here the thing some of you think NEKOPARA is going to be over after VOL 3.  But really?  Like NEKOPARA is a slice of life and drama genre.   They could if they wanted to make a long running series. 

I don't know man I enjoy the game and wish it was 20 or more hours long.   I enjoy this kinda thing a lot.  NEKOPARA to me is like http://www.crunchyroll.com/non-non-biyori just pure fun.

And Nekopara Vol.2 has sold close to 80,000 units, so it seems the support is there if they want to milk the series for all its worth.

Nekopara is already a long running series, though. It started as a doujin series back in 2009 and only recently did it transition into visual novel format. Sayori has been well off all this time and I doubt she intends to stop now.

So yeah it's not going to die anytime soon, it's the ultimate comiket bait.

We all know Nekopara is life. So by that logic we can do some calculations. The average lifespan of a Japanese person is around 83 years. And the average life span of a cat is 15 years. Trough some simple math we can see that a Japanese catgirl will live about  8715 years. (83*15*7)_{(Times 7 because catyears)} So the Nekopara cast will live around 8715 years. 

Next question is whether there will be an audience for it. So, the amount of people who loves Chinese porn games is about alot. So the market will exists around alot alot years. (alot²)

Taking alot*8715 we get  ∞  why?  Cus Nekopara.

So Nekopara should exist forever. _{Unlike your wifu!}

If you're copying it, just use ctrl + shift + v to remove the formatting
If you already copied it like that, just click on the "remove formatting" button at the very left of the editor. (Alternatively, when you copy something into the editor, a "remove formatting" option should appear on the bottom and you can use that too)

You’re forgetting that every time I pound on them, and I'll definitely pound on them, they fracture into separate parts. Each part having only a fraction of the life span of the original. And if I pound on them again and again, say 75 times, that separates them into 75 parts. Each part with only 1/75th of their lifespan ...

11205/75 = 150

And then when I sit on them, all of them, they’ll deflate. Like a lot. Let’s say I ate a really big lunch, 2 lunches, no 3, then I sat on them. And that lunch was baked beans and cabbage, which gives me a lot of gas. Why then, that would shave off a great many years, let’s say about … half their life.

150/2 = 75

So was Wanko to Kurasou.

But there's a small light of hope that someone focuses on dog girls or something and makes a good game. We have precedents like Kud and others.

If you want serious answer, maybe it'll be 4 games if the developer also interested to developed incest route here. If not, well it'll be just 3 games here. And for 3rd game premise, it'll most definitely featuring Cinnamon and Maple pair as main focus.

Oh, and since you ask opinion, I think unless the writer willingly put some dramatic storyline or some heavy conflict beyond usual one, I don't think Nekopara could last more than 3 volume imo.

Wanko wasn't bad; it's issue was the oversaturation of sex content and plot conviniency for fetish-fueled writing. If you're able to get past all that bullshit, it's actually a preety heartwarming tale about relationships between humans and animals as our pets.

To be honest, I found the sex much more interesting than all the low-key morals (objectively and subjectively). The drama was the worst part of it, the sex was just boring in the long run.

I mean, when one approaches Wanko to Kurasou, he's much better expecting lots of sex, slice of life, and silly fun than expecting nakige-grade drama and feels.

I remember some time ago when the creator of NEKOPARA posted a poll on twitter whether to make NEKOPARA a hentai series or a legit anime series.
