Romantic eroge with light h-scenes?

Is there any  well written and interesting VNs (eroge) that focuses on love in th h-scenes like KS? Where its more about the closeness and not raw freaky random sex.? ^.^

KS doesn't focus on the H scenes, they are there because it's an eroge and because they *could* happen, they're not forced.

In regular eroge you get routes of very different quality even in the same game, so it's all hit and miss. Also they tend to be done by different writers and the style and elements aren't quite the same. In general, it's hard to find a route where the courtship is done right, if only because most protags are pretty useless. Also, spending a lot of time with the heroines causes the player to become more attached to them. Presence of side characters and short games go against that.

I recommend "Period" for a cute, easygoing eroge set in summer, with vanilla scenes and only like 2 drama routes, and "Deardrops" where the drama is pretty minimal and there's a better development of the relationships, I loved it.

Noble Works and Princess Evangile sound like they're up your alley. Maybe a little heavy on sex at times but none of it's too freakish and the protagonist "falls in love" with whomever he ends of sexing.

how about Little Busters!......though don't know much about it...but it's original version is devoid of h-scenes....nd u may try Cho Dengeki Stryker....though not a solid love story based VN....but it also hv less H-scenes....nd yeah u may also try Ai Yori Aoshi......it has got no h-scenes but can't say about it's story cause hv'nt played it yet.....

I know exactly what you're looking for. That sort of situation usually occurs for the first H-Scene of the game, and any subsequent ones become less and less about the love and more and more about the sex. I can definitely deny both Noble Works and SonoHana on that count.
Princess Evangile varies on that count, but it does have some that would be to your taste.

I'll think about this some more when I have the time.

I don't know about Noble Works, since I haven't finished even one route since like March (I found the game pretty meh), but taking into account most characters are adolescents (broadly speaking about eroge in general), it seems that the first scene is done "to try it" and afterwards they knock boots a lot because they become more interested in (or hooked to) sex. Which seems pretty legit. It also facilitates the sex-meter being cranked up in later scenes to appeal more to the player, of course.

To Heart 2 for some sex scene and Yoake for no sex scene maybe (Both of those had focus in romance to some extend). Other than that, Kanon and Koi Choco also good too. Sorry for late here, but hope this will be helpful to OP here.

Unfortunately, there's soo few VNs with romance and actual romantic H-content, because H-content is here for the sake of being fap material, and not serving the story.

 

But if you want legit romance without H-content, i should point out to every VN written by Key.

To be frank, Kindred Spirits is as good as light H-Scenes get, although this is Yuri.
Assuming this works for you, check out this one. It doesn't have H-Scenes, but it is equally romantic in the same vein as the above.

The Second Reproduction does not contain H-Scenes in the truest sense of the word, but the H-Scenes are very much a thing. They simply aren't written. Only the lead-up and what comes after, which are particularly romantic.

In Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort they go at it like dogs. What this does have, from what little I've played of it, is considerable pillow talk scenes, so if you're looking for that, those are really good and not something VNs usually focus on (Haven't finished even one route).

In ef - a fairy tale of the two., there seems to be about one H-Scene per romanceable interest. As a result, the one H-Scene I did read was quite romantic, and indeed one of the better ones in that department (Have only finished one "route").

I can back up Kurisu-chan in that Key works are typically quite romantic, but the H-Scenes are allegedly bad. The one H-Scene I read in Air didn't spark much of a feeling either way, so I won't dismiss them on those grounds, but I won't recommend them either.

As for Sakurai Hikaru's works, I'll talk on behalf of Gahkthun only. The H-Scenes in this title don't focus on romance, they focus on many other matters especially. It has one H-Scene at the end but it felt completely tacked-on to me. I didn't read it, but you might enjoy it if you can put up with the rest of the H-Scenes.

Any old Eroge will have romantic H-Scenes, but not all of them give any serious focus to the romance, instead focusing on the sex. For the most part, that is precisely why the H-Scenes are there in the first place. Your best bet are Eroge with only one H-Scene per route, like (unless I'm misremembering) A Profile and Deardrops. Most other Eroge with only one H-Scene compensates by making said H-Scene very long (and some do both, like Noble Works), forgetting the romance entirely and getting caught up in the sex.

Hmm... Have you played Kindred Spirits? That is pretty much the definition of romance during sex. A character repeatedly shouting "I love you" not so much. EDIT: It even includes some fairly strong "persuading the heroines into sex"; Even if most Eroge work, I wouldn't ever recommend Noble works. Regardless, I don't know what the OP is looking for absolutely. Perhaps anything will do.
I do remember the H-Scenes in Katawa Shoujo were fairly romantic in nature, so much so that I read them back when I'd barely started VNs.

Well it's not random. The protagonist falls in love with the selected waifu and they have consensual sex, sometimes in inappropriate places, because they love each other.

I mean, you read Katawa Shoujo and Hisao pretty much gets raped in one route.

If you fine with one character VN, i would say - Kotori Love Ex P. There are many H-scenes, and some of them is pretty much romantic. Though, last part is more about random sex, but still has some good scenes.

The only reason I could somewhat recommend Kotori Love Ex P are Innocent Finale and the Christmas Days short story, which were actually kind of nice. I couldn't see the marriage days part as anything other than a pretty meh sex romp, with a cheating option to boot. The other stories were just as boring.

Steins;Gate offers one of the best examples of romance with no H, because, as everyone knows, true bonds form in the middle of distress, and there is much distress in S;G.

But probably OP knows about S;G because her avatar looks like Kurisu.

The romance is probably done better in Western VNs such as Sepia Tears, because they have limited budget and tend to leave H scenes out, so there's no worry about H ruining the romance, also they present situations, characters and writing more familiar to us and we have a better immersion in the romance.
