There shouldn't something dramatic like deaths, more something in the relationship between protas that will kind a hurt a little to read.

Perhaps you could try ef which had very good background (Scenery Porn) and some love stories there. Other than that if you didn't play these two might as well recommend Yume Miru Kusuri and Kana Little Sisters. Hopr it'll be help.

There is a whole genre dedicated to tear jerking -"nakige".

The severity of the tear jerking varies, though, so you should know what you are getting into.

"Crescendo" had some interesting stories, the tone is bittersweet at best, also it's an old game with somewhat dated art, if it matters.

For true nakige you have the Key brand, from mild "Harmonia" to "Little Busters" to "Rewrite", the heroines never truly die but tend to be throat-deep in depressing shit, this company seems to only do very short or very long games.

kana little sister sounds fine and will try it. I already read yume miru kusuri, was pretty good.


I already read Rewrite, I think I cried in 2 routes from Rewrite, but I dont rly searching for this kind of story.. I think in Rewrite they had to face "hard" destiny, but I would something with relationship problems(im not sure).

But anyways , I will try harmonia. sounds interessting.

About that, well obviously you must started from the first tale. By the way, tale of two was both of first and latter tale joined in one game. So to be more exact you could chose to either read first and latter tale, or just read tale of two although the latter was had some issue though. Hope this could be answer your question.
