Sorry for late reply, I haven't visited this forum for a while. Not really, but I can send you some links to the demos available in private message. There is no server part, it's all pure client-side, so you can probably just throw it into a PS Vita storage and load it from there, or deploy yourself it on any static HTML hosting, if it is http-only. The concept itself is solid. However, there's been no single finished VN released, playable from the beginning till the end, based on Mikan engine. There are a few important functions still missing (like loading / saving), but that's probably 1-2 days worth of coding to get that done. Unfortunately, current state of affairs is a result of combination of: several teams taking on some projects => I do reverse engineering and provide tools for them => they abandon the project and disappear => my motivation keep sinking I'm not really a great developer myself, I'm actually a malware reverse engineer, so I wanted to promote a concept and get more people interested in it to help me developing JavaScript engine; unfortunately, looks like I've failed I'm having constant troubles with free time lately, can't dedicate much time to do publicity work on Mikan That again, is totally my fault. Partially my lack of motivation and lack of continued community interest in Mikan is to blame, but that's all excuses. If you really want it and you're still up to it, we can try to revive the project and I'll promise that I'll finish that documentation and publish it. Looks like I haven't touched neither of them, so I can't really say anything here.

So, I badly need something to tide me over until Monmusu Paradox pt. 2 comes out. I want something with good art and a focus on Monster Girls. It doesn't matter if it's untranslated. A good story is preferable, but not 100% necessary.

I will make my opinion on this game after I read it.

This company's works in general are good... the ones other than the most recent ones and the first one actually have decent stories, lol.

Nice write up, you clearly put quite a lot of work into it, but... I don't really get what the point of this is. What are you trying to do exactly? Learn Japanese? Translate a visual novel? Read a Japanese VN without much understanding of the language? There are easier ways to go about almost all of these. Using a text hooker would probably help you with all three of these - there's no point in manually looking up every single word when you can just copy the text out, and there are text parsers that can look up the definitions for you on the fly, too. For translation, you could just use a CAT tool to build your translation database, so you don't lose the things you've already translated. You might potentially remember things a little bit better if you write them down by hand and look them up each time like you said, but I don't think that's really worth it given the time-investment, especially if your goal is just to read.

I've finished Muv Luv Alternative and The House in Fata Morgana. Muv Luv didn't disappoint me and I enjoyed The House in Fata Morgana much more than I thought I would. I'm not sure what to read next. I guess I have a few VNs I've downloaded in the past but never read. Let's see....uhh...it's Nekopara.

I finally finished Tokyo Babel, I can say for sure that traditional chuunis are not for me, after all... Dams it was a real chore with all that mindless 1vs1 brawling.
