  1. 08/22 - Kisaki's new hscene released! Just extract patch3.xp3 from the 7.z directly in the game folder, overwrite the old patch3.xp3 ( if it exists ). Patch3.xp3 is a separate patch until it's completed. You still need the FULL Main Heroines + Loli Side Chars (Hachi, Hibiki, Paulette, Reina, Fukami and, named patch2.xp3) + the restoration patch ( bandaids removal or heliosaurus restoration, named patch.xp3 ) Maitetsu 18+ Demosaic Patch - Kisaki v0.1.7z Want to support the project?

  2. https://vndb.org/v14846 Here is your answer, one of the creepiest vns out there. The idea that someone actually decided to make this abomination is all the horror you need. The fact that it was actually published with frighten you further. The terror is real people!

  3. Japanese stuff: Saya no Uta, Phenomeno, euphoria (warning - this one have all kinds of super-drastic sexual content). OELVNs: Lynne, Sweetest Monster It's hard to find a genuinely scary VN, because that doesn't flow with the formula, but all these are definitely unsettling.

  4. I'm not too much into horror... it's a genre I usually find pretty boring. However, I found Higurashi no naku koro ni not only pretty disturbing, but also very interesting. It kept me on the edge of my seat. If you haven't already, you might want to give it a try. It's a classic.

  7. You are just gods of lolicon and uncensoring. Continue! We are waiting for bonus extra. They have already been deleted from the old resource. So all the hope is on you. Additional question: this patch works on the Japanese version of the game?

  8. Since you already decided to play Fata Morgana, I'll just say that hopefully you'll have fun play it later. Also in regard of Rance, seeing that one scenes was quite disturbing to you perhaps it would be wise to stay away from Rance there, considering that he like to rape the woman quite often and without reason other than it's cute/beautiful lol - there's also a lot of surprising (Evenicle Ch. 6 punishment labour) sex scenes like that at Rance.

  9. I think it simply conformed to the general trend on the Forums. That is, things being dead.

  11. This VN is dark & moody, has a depressing-ish atmosphere (excessive imo; google Haru's epilogue if you don't plan on reading it) throughout the entire thing, and is full of plot-holes (see above responses). One of the only redeeming things about this is the writing; it's pretty unique (at least when compared to among the VNs which i had read. Also, the scenario writer, Looseboy, seems to be rather famous). If you can read Non-English VNs, then don't bother this as they are better similar VNs out there. It's also a ladder-style VN and I don't really like these. Otherwise, can consider reading it as I don't think there are any English VNs like it as of now.

  12. I would say that the OP here is already opening the Pandora Box in regard of the community here by mentioning Mare, but I guess there's no use to crying over the spill milk here. Anyway, in regard of good loli I guess it would be hard to do since some people might not agree in regard of the choice. That said, there's some VNs with loli that I can recommend here. And those loli characters were Kurokawa Kirara from Yumina the Ethereal, Yubana Mayuki/Mayu Mayu from Comyu, and Alice Bedford from Newton VN. I hope that my recommendations will be helpful here, albeit a bit late.

  13. Shiniyuku Kimi, Yakata ni Mebuku Zouo Terrible things happens to the female protagonist, and she's made to experience them over and over again with full memories of them. Minikui Mojika no Ko Dark sexual torture VN which is apparently very difficult to stomach (I had not actually read it though) Edited: ops, forgot you (most probably) only read english releases Anyway, ignore the above recommendations (or you can keep it in mind references, lol)

  14. Foreword: I was prejudiced towards this game after reading Japanese reviews blaming it for scrapping story in favor of H-events, but in reality the setting, plot and characters left me no choice but to get to the ending. Title: Rougetsu Toshi Developer: Softhouse Bonbee Bonbon Date: 1997-12-26 VNDB link:https://vndb.org/v15347 Youtube walkthrough:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BX9cGamwbB8&list=PLENAECnNmAq9uoqPyBvnAsL7316x1C3bc Synopsis: Tokyo at the end of the century got completely blocked from the outside world due to transformation of Kanto plains and emergence of black fog that blocks radio waves. The raise of shady organizations and appearance of strange dreams make people uneasy. Hero acquires mysterious power to oppose those threats. Structure: There are six chapters roughly one hour long each. Length: 6 hours Game type: Mystery end of the world chunige type. Difficulty: Just one route with some commands to choose action and location. Character Design rating: 9/10 Protagonist rating: 8/10 Story rating: 9/10 Game quality: 8/10 Overall rating: 8/10 Rating comments: My rates reflect my hesitation between 8 and 9 as final score. Game felt like a firm 9 during the most of its course and and only in the last third some of its flaws became evident after grasping where the game was finally going. I expected even more epic ending and at least some sort of epilogue. Otherwise it would be 9 since the game is of surprisingly high quality with individualistic characters, old-school charming design and a well-rounded story. Protagonist: Akira Myouji is an average high school student who starts to see strange drams. However he has a formed personality and no real weaknesses thus he has a cool aura. He does not look for H events, but is rather coerced towards it or does it out of necessity. The reason is that crystal bearers have to compensate their negative destructive energy with some positive life creation act... oh well, at least there's some kind of justification. Characters: There aren't main heroines in the game. There is childhood friend Asuka, her best friend Kuriko. There is also police special female team with the following cast: leader and descendant from ancient monsters fighting clan Suzuka, reserved blue long hair beauty Aoto, undercover transfer student Yuka, eccentric burly personality Mai and undercover Health room nurse Shiho-sensei. There are also side characters - strange library girl Kuko and school teacher Biho. Needless to say, they all get H-scene and sometimes much more than one. Most of the characters are grown-ups and everyone is memorable and attractive. My favorite character is Kuriko. We first meet her when she gives Akira a tour around the school - and while at it she badmouths pretty much everyone and gives skeptical comments on everything. Then she suddenly starts to avoid Akira and has a fight with Asuka and in the end Kuriko turns out the the most mysterious person with a huge role to play in the story. Story: Story can actually be described in couple sentences. Akira visits school and sees strange wet dreams about opening of the first game at night. One day he sees TV news broadcast about monster rampaging on the main square and hurries there to protect his friend who might be there. As police forces get thrown back by the monster, Akira manages to create a spirit gun and kill the monster with one shot. After that he's drafted to a special police division of spirit gun users unit and together they try to uncover the mystery behind school girls disappearance and prevent opening of the rest of four gates and the end of the world that ensues after all five are opened. But actually there's much more in this game than this dry outline, like development of relations with different characters and side-lines like the fate of the hooligan band or identity of woman who comes in the dreams or mystery behind Akira power (he can't control it and fails to use it when he wants to). Add to then the apocalyptic dark setting of isolated Tokyo standing on the brink of destruction by monsters or environmental disasters and you get more a less a full picture. CG: Great number of CG and I absolutely love the style and design. Sound: Only girls are voiced. BGM is notable, especially the piano composition by the end of the game. Theme: Title of the game can be roughly translated as "hazy moon city" and the moon plays a big role in it, especially in the second half. There is almost no sun in this world and outside scenery is inevitably dark, but by the end of the game the end of the world happens literally by the Moon sucking Tokyo city in. That's a great sight and decent metaphor. Overall comments: Game turned out to be a big deal and a serious chunige story. It lacks the multiple routes diversity or the philosophical basis of the events, but it's an epic apocalyptic adventure story and game tells it brilliantly and logically. Just don't expect complex elements and Rougetsu Toshi will definitely attract you with its dark charm.

  16. I should probably read Morgana as well one day ^^. If you want to try an easy one, from what is listed in this topic i think you should go for Favorite's games first. I didn't read them but i feel they might be easier to read than others and this is the company that made hoshimemo so... As someone said earlier in the thread, games with Shinku : https://vndb.org/c1793

  19. Score! As long as there'a at least one person that reads my little self-conscious play-diary, then I am validated in my spam. Thanks! Yeah I've learned my lesson on pushing through on recommended games many times over. CLANNAD took me SO many tries to actually get through my first playthrough, then became the mindblowing, lifechanging experience that got me into VNs. Just recently, Ever17 bored me and frustrated me...then I got to the end and it laughed in my face for ever doubting it. I'm procrastinating on Fate Morgana by finishi Evenicle and Nekopara atm. Nekopara rubs my heart in a very special, unexpected way...every time a completely dependent cat girl asks me for money for a vending machine or permission to walk to the back of a store and look at something my BDSM Dom's heart goes aflutter. And Evenicle is imply the best turn-based JRPG style game I have ever played. Years after I swore off that medium, here I am actually going out of my way to explore everything and get into unnecessary combat because the game is so fun and rewarding. My only complaint is that I can't keep up with Aster - my refractory period is longer than his, so I can't keep up with the pace of the sex scenes! I suppose I am too scared to look up recommended play orders but...I regret doing G-String wrong. I WOULD like recommendations when the play order is super necessary to the experience. Really hard for me to determine that that's the case ahead of time without risking spoilers, you know? Sounds like I should at least also concern myself with Hapymaher, like you said. Perhaps I'll make a post later to research what people think are necessary play orders.

  20. 08/21 - Nagi's ROUTE COMPLETED! FULL PATCH Maitetsu 18+ Demosaic Patch - FULL Main Heroines + Loli Side Chars.7z Installation guide: - if you have downloaded the daily patch - patch3.xp3 just manually delete it ( you don't need it anymore because its already inside the FULL Three Main Heroines patch. ) Incremental update - no incremental update - because deltax with 7z made a bigger sized file then the FULL PATCH, it didn't make sense to make one. 21. I don't make a huge distinction between 3d art and 2d art, beyond making the obvious observation that most 3d art sucks. 2d art versus real porn aka 3d world live action porn - I'd say 2d porn is much more accessible and efficient. I can google what I want and have it and be done and it won't take all night. 3d porn, while potentially reaching greater heights of awesome than 2d porn ever could, requires 10x the time and effort to search through to find the good parts. The longer my life, the more live action porn I've fapped to, the more specific and demanding my tastes become, and the more effort and open tabs and hours out of the night it takes before I'm satisfied. Not efficient. But I can search some hentai and be done in 10 minutes. After all, anime girls can do things real girls can't...at least not without searching REAL HARD on the internet to find rare instances when they do ^_^. 2d/internet porn in general vs real life relationships - yet another balancing equation of maximum result versus efficiency. Real life sex, the "best of the best everything you've ever wanted with someone you love and think is hot" kind is exponentially better than any porn experience. However, the effort and time investment is also exponentially greater, and you have to deal with the excruciating fallout of what happens after the honeymoon period is over and sex/love starts dying off, or you breakup and/or get heartbroken for any other reason. In contrast, I read a VN, fall in love over a couple dozen hours, then get bored with that heroine and move on without being an evil person. In real life when I get bored of someone in 2 years (as I always do) it's tragic and makes me the bad guy. I'd say my perfect plan is to have several real life relationships so I can have experiences that allow me to deeply connect with the romantic themes of VNs then just enjoy VNs forever. Yush. This is what I'm doing.
