They seem pretty stupid to me, actually. At least in most animes. It's not like I would ever want to actually get a yandere gf anyway, it's just a fantasy setting- They're great tools, but what would I use them for anyway? Make me food? No, thank you. It's not like I'll ever need a yandere for anything. In that prospect, I may not be into anything. I don't feel any need for romance with anything, and even when thinking of my favorite heroines, like Akane, my thougts go directly to their objectices and goals. My favorite heroines would be great friends, but I can't imagine myself entering a romantic relationship with anyone if not for some sort of goal- money, influence, etc.

8, I like the picture.

Hype never affects me in VNs. That's because I generally read them without knowing if they're hyped or not (or knowing anything about the VN, for that matter) since I'm always in the batch of the first players when a VN is translated and I avoid news about them in the first place. I believe liking a VN because of the hype is as irrational as disliking it because of the hype- it doesn't matter and you shouldn't let it affect you before you read the VN per se and draw your own conclusions.

I watched most of the anime listed here until now, but I can't say I learned anything from them (or any other anime for that matter). Even when there is a lesson that I agree with in an anime (I'll just quote two of nosebleed's examples, "Shinsekai yori taught me how humans are the worst creatures when they have power. Serial Experiments Lain taught me how my own existence and all my past is pretty irrelevant") those were things that I already agreed with and knew in the first place, and watching the anime had no effect whatsoever in my decision.

There was this one time I was walking on the street and a guy tried to steal me, just to find out I wasn't carrying anything valuable. He sympathized with the fact that I didn't have a cellphone, and, amusingly enough, we chatted for about 5 minutes about how life sucks before he just went away.

I would post "Ultimate Truth" here, but it's the theme of a stage, not of a character... To me it's a tie between the themes of Hata no Kokoro and Byakuren Hijiri, "The lost emotion" and "emotional skyscraper" Kokoro's theme: Byakuren's theme: Kokoro's theme just sounds nice, but Byakuren's theme is full of epic.

Oh, we're supposed to talk about heroines? If so, Akane from rewrite. She has the right personality, her influence isn't half bad and I agree with most of what she says. I'd be happy to Junko Enoshima from Danganronpa is pretty awesome too. I may like her as much as Akane. Her coolness is despair inducing.
