Nope. I have far better games currently in my log to play than fellout 4. The game is currently a mess and I'll gladly wait a year for modders to fix the thing because I honestly don't trust Bethesda to. Viva la Pillars of Eternity.

Confession: after finally resetting my anki deck from ~30% from not using it and getting ready to start over again, I realized I forgot the semi fluency I had in kana/kata and now can't use it. I'm not motivated enough to learn them again on my phone.

What Light Novel are you reading right now?

Protip: Your first LN will always seem the best. It will take awhile for you to feel that euphoria again. I'm still waiting for them to finish Zero no Tsukaima, I'm 20 volumes invested at this point, they need to finish the damn thing already, my hype is reals. -
I always wondered what the fuck that was. I could never tell if it was my TV being retarded, them adjusting for gamma brightness, or just failed encoding. I've seen it in several shows too.

Hell yes, favorite Emiya theme finally released <3

I squeed like a little girl I was like "holy shit, is this LiSA?" and started laughing really hard. -
Lol, you're probably average among users. Last I checked, I had gone through 40% of exhentai's english manga section. There was also 60-70% of the tanks/story arcs included. Before fakku changed I had probably read 70% of all their content.

Thanks to chat, I remembered something fun. Confession: So back last week's Thursday, on the 5th, our psychology teacher's father died. I laughed So this Tuesday when we were talking about schizophrenia, one of the symptoms our teacher described was flattened emotions and inverted emotions, like either having no reactionary emotions, or feeling joy at something bad happening, such as death of someone. A student in the class then asked for clarification with the question "You mean like [abyss]?" I might have laughed myself out of the room for about 3 minutes to avoid being a disturbance. I then proceeded to thank the guy for a great laugh.

I've reached the point where they aren't getting TL'd fast enough. I filter out 90% of them too, as they don't fit my tastes. The agony of a leecher. Oh well, by next year this time I should be able to slowly read them for the most part, and have money to actually import, because international shipping >.> Honestly, I would love to support, but christ, the total cost is way too damn much, so I'd still be supplementing from piracy. Baka-Tsuki finally promoted The Reunion With Twelve Fascinating Goddesses into a full project due to the first volume getting translated, and man do I love my crappy shounen harems. So good to read, as I laugh when other people cringe. -
Really? Kernings are my bane when playing old mangagamer titles. The font placing in those is so out of whack that the kernings create fun words.

Nested quotes out of control in IPB4
Abyssal Monkey replied to sanahtlig's topic in Request a Change/Report Site Problems
Anyone found a similar solution for mobile yet? Hovering's not really an option, so the red line/paragraph indicators never show up. @Darbury The best you can do, at least on android via chrome is to tap on the name/date part of the quote which should give you that red line to insert a space where you can then highlight everything up to that point you want to delete. -
What manga are you currently reading?
Abyssal Monkey replied to Snowtsuku's topic in Anime/Manga Talk
Chrome Seriously don't understand why people don't keep track of their own releases and/or use an aggregator. I mean why would you go through 3 different parties when you really only need two or one max. I use Bato.to because they carry every non-licensed series and have a nice follow system when you sign up. Plus it's non inundated with ads and malware, like every other god damn aggregator. -
Confession: I'm laughing my ass off at the hypocrisy in that french terrorist thread. I'm not touching that thread with a 10 foot pole. Edit: Confession: I can't help but lose respect for 95%of the people who have posted in that thread so far.

Looking for certain Harem type
Abyssal Monkey replied to Crimrui's topic in Anime/Manga Recommendations
Sorry, I could recommend a couple light novels, but anime? You might want to try the disaster of Seirei Tsukai Its the first one that comes to mind. This season there is also both Asterisk War and the not so harem school battle series Magic Knight Looking at my list, Campione!, Hagure Yuusha, Black Bullet, C³ may be similar enough. I really would recommend looking through Baka-Tsuki and cross referencing light novels with anime, as these will be your best bet. For manga based anime, Trinity Seven may fit the bill, but the manga is infinitely better due to the extremely poor adaptation Maken-Ki! is another manga base, but it goes into straight fanservice territory, to the point of abandoning the manga's plot. Edit: for MOAR Unbreakable Machine-Doll Fafnir Dragonar -
"Got Asuka on my dick like my name is Shinji Ikari" I died. Holy shit this is amazing. How much shit they put in this is actually incredible.

Confession: I'm super pissed right now. I was presented with two questions on my bio exam I just took: What is cooperative loading and unloading? (context was blood) and Extra Credit: What is Bohr shift and how does it help gas exchange. I didn't know the answer to either one, so naturally I guessed. Extra credit questions aren't taught in class and are from supplemental reading which I never did. When answering them, both by guessing, I swapped the answers. I'm super pissed right now

Deciding What To Do With The Rest of My Life
Abyssal Monkey replied to solidbatman's topic in The Coliseum of Chatter
Around where I live, the public school system sucks ass. My brother actually had a girlfriend who was going into teaching and was a student teacher. She taught 3rd graders and liked it, but when she got moved to 7th grade, she said it was torture. She said that all the kids starting puberty caused the entire experience to make her not want to teach middle school anymore. Really it depends on where you live and how well funded your school system is. The neighborhood I live in has a 77% highschool graduation rate for public school, and anybody who actually cares about their kids sends them to private school. I was in that school system until 6th grade, where my mom pulled me test into a different school where I skipped two grades straight into 9th in a private school in a different state. The public school system actually told her that in order for them to help me, I had to fail, and not get 100%s on everything. TL;DR: be more sensible, sure he may enjoy the subject, but the other factors can be quite lethal. Teaching may always be in demand, but there is a reason it's always in demand. -
Confession: My brother is watching Fruits Basket. I got kept up for about two hours because ever time I got even close to sleep that fucking god awful "Yuki! Yuki! We love Yuki!" scene fucking played and made me cringe. Did I mention he is watching it in English so all the fucking screeching noises that the VA's do hurt your ears like hell and make them bleed because of the high pitch? Confession 2: I want to murder the people who decided to make that show right now.

Deciding What To Do With The Rest of My Life

Take the oil company, work about 10 years. You'll make enough money to retire on. Then do whatever the hell you want. By the time you leave you'll be replaced by robots. At that time you can comfortably live practicing your hobbies. -
Deciding What To Do With The Rest of My Life

Honestly, at least in the american college, the first year of college is divided into two areas: business and the arts and sciences. Decide that as that will decide which program you enter. That decides what classes you take for your first year, as the first year of college is all general education. You wont get specialized classes until second year. First year is really just a buffer year where you can take all the electives and background classes to test the waters for what you want to declare your major as. That's really my biggest problem with American education: they take too long to teach you what you want to learn. Just remember, that if you don't pick a job that requires cognitive flexibility and ingenuity, your job will be taken by a robot in 20 years. In that respect, picking mechanical engineering might be future proofing yourself so you can do maintenance work on your inevitable metal overlords. -
I don't think it's a time period problem, the characters in the anime had so many problems and the romantic plot got pretty ridiculous in the end, mostly due to the awful pacing with most of the episodes amounting to nothing and then the last couple episodes just going "here's everything being solved". The manga had a much more successful and well paced story, but overall Love Hina is still a very cliché riddled harem romcom. The tragedy of Ken Akamatsu's works: all their anime adaptations are objectively shit.

Confession: today may be a bad day for me. The real confession: I might be indoctrinated considering that this superstition was the first thing I thought of when this happened.
