  1. this is a very long series about the mysterious past of Nun and the Core. It should definitely get the people who want to understand the premise of Legends of the Rift a chance to explore the alien side of the Black Sands Universe. Thanks for taking the time to read it. We will be putting out updates on the regular.
  2. The Novella Black Sands: Sons of Nibiru has begun. Check out the first part of the prologue at http://www.blacksandsentertainment.com/#!sons-of-nibiru/gb1qc and tell us what you think.
  3. holyshit rage O_O Here is something to calm you down. There is yet hope for VNs that say "we are not Japanese. Although, I do not wish anyone to fail. At least they tried a second time and hit their mark. Goes to show, they aren't going to quit.
  4. Good day. I would love some critiques on the first part of the Prologue to Black Sands: Sons of Nibiru. There has been a lot of interest in Nun and I figured I would release a Novella on my official website and then follow that up with a web series comic of it. http://www.blacksandsentertainment.com/#!sons-of-nibiru/gb1qc Here are some of the concepts for the Comic series ocming at a later date. Hope to hear from you guys soon.
  5. maybe it was the "never give up" attitude aye? remember, they get their email list from the last campaign and can basically pad their start the next round.
  6. Amesemi has been added and a new sneak peak of the alpha demo is shown.
  7. I just hope people don't forget how they fund these type games when mines comes up 20k+ I backed this game btw. Just find it funny people would back things like this even with the cliches. Plus, how is it an OELVN if it is translated?
  8. I will give my example first. I run a team developing Black Sands and it consist of the following: 1 artist - does BGs, CGs, Animations 2 programmers - one does the core mechanics and script, the other does special effects. 1 composer - makes musical tracks and undertones 2 voice actors. 1 co-writer which handles proofreading, rewriting, and editing of both Legends of the Rift and Sons of Nibiru Throughout the development, we never argue about roles. It seems that the way I handle responsibilities and critiques seems to be acceptable for the group as a whole. Everyone has their own task and never need to do someone else' work. I keep my artist happy by allowing him pure freedom to design everything as he sees fit so long as he sticks to a couple of core concepts. I never ask people to overhaul their work unless they notice something glaring. As a result, they most of the time spot something and jump head over heel to fix it without me demanding it. My composer has freedom to make songs but at first, he didnt understand VN music. It took a while for him to understand the repetitive aspect of it but now he is knocking songs out every 2 weeks. My voice actors as doing a damn good job staying in character and I gave them complete freedom to change up ANY LINES that were not deliverable in character or unnatural sounding. This made our lines sound way better in conversation then originally written. We then change those lines in the script to fit the narrative. Finally my writer is given 100% freedom to embellish on any chapter I create. He can make it super wordy like a lord of the rings description and I let it fly. As a result, he keeps motivated to push more content whenever it is available. In the end, I am happy that I am not dealing with any drama at all with my team and I am wondering what you other devs are doing and how management is going for you?
  9. They are so OP, you have to dedicate a lot of time investigating them just to figure out how to not die instantly to them should you have to fight them lol
  10. Are these in english? If so, i will buy the 30 buck bundle
  11. Oh trust me. The art will be boss. We always do things big.
  12. BTW Bakasura and Jepatus are evil as fuck.
  13. this thread is to help us with refining the concept so your advice is not dismissed. Thanks for adding it. Maybe a consensus will start forming around your suggestion.
  14. I think I used the old height before the concept was created. He is actually 14-19 feet tall. His open mouth is actually a break in his face. He didn't have a mouth before he was corrupted at all. It has to do with the spirit that possesses him. He is more of a antagonist then a pure villain. He doesn't have evil intent. He is just a possessed titan that must devour the souls of anything that yet moves. His fall from grace is tragic and your job in the game is to get enough information on him to kill him. He has way more lore then this and you will discover it with investigations, subterfuge, indirect attacks, spying, all the goodness a commander requires to defeat an enemy which is significantly stronger then you. Be quick though, for no one knows when he will break free from the caverns of his imprisonment and force the issue. If unprepared, expect your campaign to be short and embarrassing.
  15. The lore will seem very confusing without actually playing the game. Once you read the prologue and discover the world, things begin to make sense and you soon start expecting certain things in the Black Sands Universe.
  16. Coeus Corrupt (Ko-wus) Pantheon: Greek Age: 1482 Height: 8’ 7” Fighting Style: Soul Leeching Alignment: Chaotic Evil FANTASY In the bowels of a long lost Anunnaki burial chamber roams the Titan Coeus. He once was the most intelligent Titan to ever exist and was the most likely to succeed at developing humanity in the outside world. Fate was cruel to him though as his curiosity got the best of him. Nun warned all the ancient bloodlines of the three dominant spirits that were sent to Earth with him. Nun possessed one but the other two were lost in the crash landing of his ship. Coeus searched for years for relics of the long lost Sirius ship and did not heed the warning of Nun to notify him immediately if they ever were to be discovered. When he touched the relic, the spirit within it infused with his core, causing him to fall into madness. He tried to fight the urge for a time but eventually it took over and he killed an Anunnaki by draining it of its soul. Uranus, his father, intervened on his behalf when Marduk seeked vengeance. Marduk did not trust Uranus to honor his word though and negotiated the terms of his punishment. The Annunaki would build a cursed facility under the ground which would keep him imprisoned for eternity with special sigils that drained his power. He is forever roaming these halls waiting for the day he can be free to feed again. HISTORY Coeus is of the Greek pantheon, known as the Titan of rational intelligence. He fathered many children and was considered a positive Titan. In the Titanomachy (The war between Titans and Olympians,) he was overthrown and imprisoned for an eternity in Tartarus (Hell.) unlike the other Titans, he went mad in his imprisonment and broke free of his chains in an attempt to escape but failed in his attempt. THEORY We decided to change the timeline a bit and tie his historical madness into his inquisitive nature. We liked the tragedy of an intelligent and benevolent Titan falling from grace due to his lack of wisdom. By showing his fall, we make him more relatable and also incorporate cross pantheon relationships between the Anunnaki and the Titans. This allows us to create vivid lore that mixes the two worlds and enriches the story of a mad god who was once a benevolent saint. Full blown critiques plz. This is a rough of the Coeus concept which will be properly rendered at a later date. The image is the scale.

  18. You win this round. I will be damned if i go and search each individual nation and do all the math.
  19. Nigeria Country in West Africa Nigeria, an African country on the Gulf of Guinea, is known for its natural landmarks and wildlife reserves. Safari destinations such as Cross River National Park and Yankari National Park showcase waterfalls, dense rainforest, savanna and rare primate habitats. One of its most recognizable sites is Zuma Rock, a 725m-tall monolith outside the capital of Abuja that’s pictured on the national currency. Related statistics Gross domestic product 521.8 billion USD ‎(2013) That moment when you say all 14 countries combined only have 150 billion euros but nigeria ALONE has close to 400 billion...
  20. now that is what western society wants you to believe but only 14 out of the dozens and dozens of countries in Africa pay 400 billion a year to France as a post-colonialism policy for "the benefits of colonization." africa has the most natural resources in the world. To say they cant come up with 400 billion dollar annually is ignorant. To also say this is a voluntary exchange is just hysterical. "He didn’t want his country to continue to be a french dominion, therefore he refused to sign the colonisation continuation pact De Gaule proposed, but agree to pay an annual debt to France for the so called benefits Togo got from french colonization. It was the only conditions for the French not to destroy the country before leaving. However, the amount estimated by France was so big that the reimbursement of the so called “colonial debt” was close to 40% of the country budget in 1963. The financial situation of the newly independent Togo was very unstable, so in order to get out the situation, Olympio decided to get out the french colonial money FCFA (the franc for french african colonies), and issue the country own currency." that is 1 out of the 14 countries still being raped by France. 40% of GDP as a debt... Yeah. Notice all those starving babies in Africa? That is directly because of the french. Western logic right here. The above is an "AGREEMENT" Just like in that new kids book where the happy slaves love serving George Washington.
