Alpha Map: Would like Critiques

the cool thing about it is it is 5k big. So zooming in will not pixelate. Also the forest is a different layer so we will be able to make hidden sights underneath and then simply change the opacity to see the hidden areas.

Alpha Map: Would like Critiques
Black Sands Entertainment replied to Black Sands Entertainment's topic in Creative Corner
yeah. The rift is an artificial reality which allows the people inside to prepare for anything that would be found on the outside (earth) So the different fiora is engineered to be that way and the the volcano just recently popped. With that being said, you make valid points on the topography. We will definitely take our time explaining the lands of the rift. -
Hello guys! We are going to be finishing up our game map in a couple of days but would like to hear some commentary on where it currently stands. A little background. The Rift is a dimentional tear in which the interior is its own ecosystem. Its roughly 5 miles wide and has wildly different environments. Currently there are no landmarks but as you progress through the game, you will unlock locations. It is also in 4k so zooming in does not pixelate which will be a major factor when it comes to location art.

I can prepare something for you if you wish to talk about a black cultural production in the OELVN community. -
Seeking Advice for a Con Panel on VNs

I want a booth! lol. Seriously though, its seattle. That is a very diverse area. I would suggest emphasizing that diversity by showing a cross over, or other cross overs in the genre. -

how are CGs not done yet? Shouldn't that be the top priority once funding comes in since it is the most capital intensive and time consuming part? jeez. I at 8 a month, I am looking at atleast 6 months just for the art alone. Must be their first production. -

[Discussion] Everyone hates OELVNs?
Black Sands Entertainment replied to Danko's topic in Visual Novel Talk
to be honest with you, its literally why I am marketing this as an interactive graphic novel to the black community. I need a bigger market and hopefully I can convert them to the dark side once they realize this is an actually widespread genre. -

this is not what people complain about. In fact, it is the exact opposite. An american visual novel made by an american who never been in japan makes a game set in tokyo. That is what pisses this community off. -
OELVN Publisher Looking for Projects
Black Sands Entertainment replied to DEVGRU_P's topic in Recruitment
Well I know when I get my publisher, i will not under any circumstance settle for a large cut going to my publisher on my sequels. I am building a franchise and any deals I make will definitely diminish over time. Getting 50% of Kanye before anyone knows him is just fine but getting 5% of today's Kanye is damn good.
