  1. I can't decide what is scarier. The sprite, or those spaces before the question marks? Dear god.
  2. I feel like I haven't watched an anime with a proper ending in like forever. Feels like I haven't watched anything to completion in months, and it makes me lose all interest in watching new things. :x The only thing I'm watching at the moment is Hataraku Maou-sama. It's surprisingly entertaining for what it is, but I feel like I'm watching a giant PV for the light novel in the end anyway.
  3. I've started Sakusaku yesterday... though I had to give up after about 10 minutes. I'm afraid moege aren't my thing. If you uninstall the game, you're a monster. That's all I have to say.
  4. Trying to get through this months' PS+ library in the little time I have in between everything else, so chipping away at Tearaway at the moment. It's surprisingly fun, and I'm not even into platformers.
  5. Enjoy! You can do it, for Kaito!
  6. Well, I did drop Secret Game, and KonoSora was hanging between being dropped and stalled for over a year now. :x
  7. I don't like dropping VNs, so I usually push through even if I don't really like it - but if the story is extremely dull with not even an comedy to keep it entertaining, that's too much even for me.
  8. Is this group still alive? I'd like to join if it is, my Skype name is the same as here.
  9. Still holding my fingers crossed for a PS4/Vita release of Chaos;Child. ;_;
  10. Well, time for Ayase's route, get ready for some chuuni denpa! Ayase's chapter - Blood of the contract to the guilty Whev, that was definitely the craziest ending so far. I apologize for the horrendous translation - I don't remember what the chuuni terms were translated as in the PC version, so I kind of just went with what first came to mind. Probably butchered the spelling too, but who is to say what is the right one, they never spell it in romaji in the VN either. I personally enjoyed this ending a lot. It doesn't really come across well from the summary, but it was kind of implied that a lot of it was caused by Ayase's delusions. It's probably up to you how you take the crazy final battle, it can either be a chuuni bossfight or a metaphor, whichever you like more. Also those themes of the world reduced to senses and their differences between individuals has given me some serious SubaHibi nostalgia hype, so this ending gets a huge bias from me. Anyway, what do you guys think? Next up is Sena.
  11. Think of Rakuen and Meikyuu as the continuation of Kajitsu's common route. While Yuuji does solve all their problems he doesn't get romantically involved with any of the girls.
  12. There's a new girl, but Yuuji gives her no chance. There are no routes in the sequels, so there aren't really any new heroines either, so to speak. Meikyuu has afterstories for each of the Kajitsu endings, but Rakuen is just one big story (with some bonus things on the side, like the prologue focusing on the Mihama before Yuuji came). Read Kajitsu as the character introduction/prologue of sorts, and take some of it with a grain of salt - the author likes to retcon stuff, unfortunately - the rest of the series is more about Yuuji than anything else.
  13. Finished Ayase's ending in Chaos;Head. I was honestly kind of putting it off, since I was kind of sick of chuuni characters as of late, but damn, did I judge it wrong. This was possibly the best ending so far; it not only takes the chuuni into the right (read scary denpa ) direction at first, but it also has a very satisfying conclusion to Ayase's sub-story. I'll be posting the summary tomorrow, too tired today.
  14. It does? The Noah version has an option to stop skipping on delusion triggers, whether you read them already or not. :x Maybe the PC version has a toggle in the options somewhere too?
  15. Yeah, I think I'm alive. Wait, I? Who...?
  16. I liked the second one the most. I couldn't help it but root for both Saya and Fuminori no matter how out of hand they got; part of that was because I absolutely love stories that aren't afraid to deviate from what's 'right', so I was extremely happy that the story didn't back down and just went with the flow, and the other part of that was because I felt the story was written so well that even when the perspective got so cruelly distorted by the end, I felt like I could still understand (and even sympathise to a certain extent) with the characters, wanting them to make the 'best out of their situation'. The third ending felt like the previously mentioned 'backing down', but it was honestly done so well, practically overflowing with the classic horror atmosphere, that I like it almost as much as the second one too.
  17. Regarding your second point, the VN actually seems to address everything on the consecutive playthroughs, like the chat between Takumi and Shogun, Takumi's sleepwalking and such, so I guess it kind of does fall in line with what they're doing - but I do agree with you that some doubt is always more interesting. I'm a huge fan of stories that leave you things to think about, or bits to interpret.
  18. Super late on this, but I'd just like to clarify that that's not entirely correct. I don't remember how obvious it was in the original release, but it was still very much in the Vita version too, even if it was more abstract (still very obvious, though.) Here's proof, in Japanese though:
  19. It has taken me forever, but here goes! Yua's chapter - The Moon and the Sun And there you have it, Yua's ending! I didn't like it as much as Nanami's, but it was nice how very different it was from it too. There was no romance in this ending at all (unless you want to go with some twisted theory relying on Stockholm syndrome, taking the last scene out of proportion ), instead completely focusing on the backstory that was left out of the main route. Well, at least it felt much less like a bonus this way, and more like a mandatory part of the story. Next up is Ayase's route.
  20. Well, here goes. Chaos;Head is a better VN than Steins;Gate. The premise is more original and interesting, the OST is better, the atmosphere is better, the characters (especially the heroines) are relatively unusual and interesting (they have their quirks), while S;G's are just a bunch of stereotypes, and even the main character is much more interesting and relatable,. The difference isn't big, but S;G felt more like a rehash of the 'otaku-style-centered' VN with a more grounded and less original setting. And for that, I'd say that Chaos;Head > Steins;Gate
  21. Welp, and there goes the little interest I might've had for this VN.
  22. My favourite figure from your collection would probably be this one http://myfigurecollection.net/item/235619 Why? Because it has a fun pose. It's definitely not because of the (lack) of clothing, or that delicious chest. Nope! Who do you think I am, some kind of a pervert?! I don't really like the stand, but that's my problem with a lot of figures, really. There aren't really many other versions of her that I found (only two on the site?), and the one you have looks the best anyway. I might buy the figure if I had the money, just because there's no good looking Yumiko figure. If I had to recommend anything, I'd recommend (surprise!) this one - http://myfigurecollection.net/item/166975- because I really want it myself as well. What can I even say about it, it has a nice pose, and all those amazing details and props - and hey, even the stand is coloured. The only minus is probably just the plastic propping her up, but you can't really do without that anyway. And here's my entry:
