And I continue to applaud the music. There is SO MUCH OF IT and it's really good! Really, it is just absurd how much music is here. They never stop introducing new tunes in dramatic or important moments at any point throughout the VN and it really adds a lot to the experience, I feel. And they will just keep coming! Seriously, the music never stops - and it never drops in quality. Actually, I would go as far as to say that it gets better - be ready to get your mind blown when the crazier and more awesome remix versions of tracks appear in accordance with the VN escalating in an equal manner.

I love horror, but I'm not so sure about this based on what I saw of it so far. The setting sounds generic and the combat system is rather worrying - but I'll definitely keep an eye on this one, it could still turn out surprisingly well.

That was more or less my point. And the after stories seemed to fill the purpose of stuffing in more h-scenes one way or the other, as is the standard fandisc fare, but I only read one and a bit of one other, so I can't really judge in the end. Was mostly just a joke. That said I really need to get on that grand route.

I also thought it'd be best to hide it from my parents, but then the magazine about eroge I bought in Japan out of curiosity got into their hands - and it turned into surprisingly funny joke. Seems like my parents just expected this from Japan in the first place, which could be a problem in and of itself, depending on how you look at it. But really, I think in the end it's just the problem of people being open-minded. It doesn't matter if there is a pigeon dating sim or not - it should be an undeniable fact that Japanese stuff is weird to other countries' standards, and that the majority of VNs are eroge. Thinking that a particular work is giving a bad impression might be just running away from that fact.

It becomes clear pretty fast that Umineko is no Higurashi rehash, and that's what makes it so interesting, in my opinion. In fact, the most interesting thing about it might be that it gives you a completely new perspective on Higurashi once you finish the whole VN.

Started Aldnoah Zero yesterday and caught up to where it is right now. It's an entertaining anime, the production values are great, and so is the OST (Sawano and Kajiura in one anime? Oh god!), but I'm pretty disappointed how little Urobochi was involved. Well, I'm curious about the last episode, even though I'm not expecting much from it. Also watching SAO2, if only to facepalm at how bad it is each week. I haven't seen pacing so bad ever since I stopped watching the infinite shounens a few years ago... just terrible. Really looking forward to next month, though. Incredible ufotable hype, and also very curious about the Grisaia adaptation!

An all-ages version of Meikyuu? Since that would involve removing at least 1/3 of the entire content, if not even more, I'd be really curious to see how that would even happen.

Muramasa tackles romance in a pretty... unusual way, so if you're looking for interesting characters/relationships, you could try that.

There's one translation that is passable (but not good), and then there's one that is so bad it is considered a trolling attempt. That's at least what I've heard, I've only read the 'better' one. I think the one I read was done by Ixrec?

Is there any wort on any of those even happening? I was considering buying Xtend on the Vita as it was on sale, but I have a problem with the kanji being too small on the Vita. :/

Seriously. :/ Compatibility mode/reinstall didn't help. Even tried installing the old DirectX that came on the .iso, didn't help either. Gah, I guess I won't be reading this one.

Hm, that's odd. I tried reinstalling it with a SCSI drive just in case, but I got the same result. Maybe they changed something with Daemon Tools? Is there some reasonable alternative?
