  1. *Fufufufufu* What is the purpose behind the competition? Is it to vote for the banner you like the best, and the banner most people consider "the best" will be rewarded by going on the logo? If it is, then it should be a single vote. Or is it vote for the banners you like, and the "most liked" banner will be used on the logo? If it is, then you should be able to vote as many times as you like. What is this '2 vote' system supposed to represent? Vote for the banner you love, and the one which didn't quite cut it? Vote once with your heart, then vote for your mate? The winning banner will represent what exactly? It's not the banner most people liked, nor is it the banner most people thought was the best. What is it exactly?
  2. Is it as good as the first season? I don't like cliffhangers, so I'm waiting for all the episodes to be released before I play it.
  3. Okay, let's assume that some (but not all) people vote twice. You now have the situation where some people's votes influence the outcome more than others. Is this a situation you want? Sure, you have the option to vote twice but the reality is some people won't. So how you going to equalise matters? Make everybody vote twice? How is this any different to people voting once? What about the 3 people who want to vote 3 times, how are you going to please those dudes? My opinion is to keep things to 1 vote. Neat, tidy, people may complain but everything is simple.
  4. Your "multiple votes" idea is becoming needlessly complicated. I'd rather things be kept to a single vote, thanks.
  5. I don't see the point of such an arbitrary distinction. And people can speak for themselves, Steve. It's possible for people to volunteer for commercial OELVN projects just as it's possible for people to volunteer for fan-tl projects. Similarly people who want to be kept abreast of games in development, or translation, shouldn't have to fumble through a hundred different sections because you want your free stuff remained separate.
  6. Sekai isn't making the game, just distributing it. It's being made by "Winged Cloud"
  7. I think 6 is awesome and I won't be switching. Sorry peeps. It doesn't matter if it wins or not, it's about honesty and staying true to your beliefs. If it doesn't win then it's fine, the people will have spoken and I will accept the result with a smile. There will be a smile on my face because I know that I stayed consistent with my beliefs... and also because I'll have cursed those who voted against it with the annoying trend of having your pants keep falling down whenever you talk with members of the opposite sex. Have a pleasant day people
  8. Wonderful podcast Ren, Tay. Looking forward to seeing those changes... whatever they may be
  9. No. I thought it offered a solid, turn-based strategy gaming experience, and I quite enjoyed it. But I'm quite fond of TBS games in general. EDIT: @Threadstarter: Personally, I wouldn't delete anything until I try them. You've already downloaded them all, so may as well...
  10. If it has, then they forgot to change the policy on the 'Forum Rules' page : User Title Changes: User titles can be changed at any time by making a contribution to the community. Here are a few examples of ways to help out. When you've completed your good deed, please report to a moderator, who can make the change for you. · Assisting in coding projects and/or working on the front site; · Helping with forums projects; · Writing a walkthrough for a game; · Writing an article for the Visual Novel Aer blog; · Helping with the everlasting Facebook project; · Posting 500+ posts on the forums ("Games and Chatter" posts do not add to this count); · Or something else you can think of! Note: Users with 500+ posts have, in simply posting so regularly, helped to build the site. Thank you for your contributions! We hope you'll keep it up. These users can change their user title at any time from the user CP. https://forums.fuwanovel.net/index.php?/topic/2407-forum-rules/
  11. I'm too poor to buy one atm. Also no game on the system appeals to me.
  12. Sorry, I must have misunderstood you (my fault, I do it every so often.) So let me see if I get it right, you oppose visible projects and people being advertised on the main site because they're already high profile within the community? But not everybody who visits the main site visits the community. I would like to see it on the main page to highlight to people outside the community just how awesome being a part of this community is. So the people who post the most are usually the most comfortable sharing themselves with people, and the projects which are popular are usually those which appeal to the most people, so if you're going to advertise the community...
  13. A community spotlight to showcase projects which doesn’t garner much interest from the public, or members who aren’t active in the community, doesn’t make a lot of sense. Some members only come to the forums to promote their project and are nearly never seen. Are you going to spotlight these people as well? And for what purpose? You should keep in mind it is not Fuwa's mission to make sure everybody feels equally appreciated and loved (and yes, I’m also talking about certain people’s opposition to the Motm here.) It is Fuwa’s mission to improve the fanbase and provide a civil atmosphere. And looking at the Ren x Tay interview, I can say for certain that I learnt things about them I didn't otherwise know, and couldn’t possibly know without them spamming/derailing threads (not allowed outside of GC) or introducing an AMA thread (frowned upon.) Ren is an intelligent man and can make his own decisions concerning who to interview.
  14. Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear XD
  15. Sorry. I must have blinked at at the wrong moment and missed the excitement. @Ren: Sounds like a fun idea.
  16. Why would there be controversy over MotM?
  17. While it is true that words do change meaning over time, chivalry is not one of them. Chivalry is not politeness or kindness and I doubt it will ever evolve to mean politeness or kindness. If I showed kindness to my neighbour that isn't chivalry, if I showed kindness to my very elderly and frail neighbour by helping him down the stairs, that IS chivalry. If a bunch of thieves broke into my elderly neighbour's house and I helped drive them away, that would be chivalry. If my neighbour is an able-bodied marine wielding a rifle, not chivalry.

  19. Oh I am, am I?
  20. SB's so mean :'(
  21. I've got pretty bad eyesight. My habit of reading in the dark (I think) has led me to needing some really thick glasses. But to me, the pink and red blend in on this page: https://forums.fuwanovel.net/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=stats&do=leaders
  22. The argument is that colours need to be changed to make admins and mods easier to distinguish, right? So why would you then turn around and make the admins and mods similar colours? Green blue and red is a good diversity. I would prefer dark blue to light, but if light blue is all we have then that gets my vote
  23. Dating Sims in english are very rare outside the OEL community, and most of those are otome. PS: Take a swig of alcohol every time Rooke says the word 'sim' in this post. It's beneficial for your well-being. 'True Love' is a classic. Considered (in Japan) to be a Tokimeki Memorial clone (Tokimeki Memorial reputedly being one of the greatest dating sims ever created.) It's old though. And there's not much else, so I'm going to offer you some stuff outside of the boundaries you set. Persona 3 and Persona 4 (can be found on the PS2, PSP and Vita) are dating sims crossed with RPGs. These games are TONS of fun. Sakura Wars 5 is sorta the same but not as good. It's for the PS2 and Wii. OEL time. You have... otomes and more otomes. I could name you plenty but they're all otomes. Except one, but it's a sim and not a dating sim. It's also a HEAVY SIM, don't approach unless you're hardcore into sims. Academagia is a magic school sim, and wonderful if you like in depth gameplay. It's not a dating sim though so it's not about romance. http://www.academagia.com/
