Also, just thinking about this, Chris is insanely strong, not Momo strong, but strong enough to overpower Yamato no matter what, so I find the whole scenario very iffy. The whole because he's stimulating her sexually she loses all power sounds BS to me. He didn't drug her either.

I've had people tell me the Agave route is the best route. Hmm. I really liked Yukies and Wankos so far. We'll see. I'm right at the "Night Creep" segment now, about to read it. It does feel odd just when he called his two friends to talk about what he was planning to do, and they're like "Oh hell yeah, you da man" I'm not against such scenes, it always happens in Japanese manga, anime and eroges, they love rape = love. I had to come back and do a quick edit though, cause this line...holy shit, he's talking about his penis and he says... "It's so ferocious, so dependable." Lmao wow.

I tried to read School Days, but I couldn't get into it. It was setup as some really terrible romantic drama. Like just awful, yet everywhere it gets love, I feel like I'm missing something.

Interesting. I am doing Chris's route right now, so this night crawling scene sounds interesting. I am doing it to get her out of the way, and maybe not doing Miyako's at all.

Hopefully, one day, Spirit of Eternity Sword 2 will make that list...

I don't like Miyako because she's simply to easy. Her personality is a turn off, honestly. As for Chris, I don't like her either because of how spoiled she is, to the insane degree, she can't read moods and is selfish as hell in pretty much all situations. Then she preaches about Justice.

Majikoi. Fun characters, meh story.

Yeah, Shenmue is the most recent example. It was already being made, they said the Kickstarter was done to gauge interest in the product though, and that if the KS succeeded or failed, it'd still be made... Then they did a second Kickstarter, as well... KS is a shop, pretty much, where you can pre-order a game before it's even made.

Also, you can pledge any amount and retract it. I almost had to pay 10,000$ because of that, so be careful, as you can't pull your pledge out if it would make a game go under it's goal. But since this has hit it. I learned my lesson then, but it was kinda fun to troll witht he 10,000$+ random donations. As for you saying Kickstarter is a funding website - not really, not in the traditional sense. Since it's inception, it's always been more of a "Pre-order" website. As you get the game usually for 'donating', but it will take years, think of it as advanced pre-ordering. Nobody is going to give Star Citizen it's 100M for nothing in return, eh? Same with several other KS. OF course they can complain about how some of the tiers are stupidly priced for what they give. The whole point of KS is to show interest, and that a game will sell. People who see Kickstarter as "donation" website, obviously haven't been on it long. @KT89 what do you mean the resolution sucks? It's widescreen for me, and it loosk pretty beautiful on my 27', 1440p monitor or my 50'' TV. If you're thinking they're gonna go back and re-daw all the art assets in 4k or some such...you're wrong. Touch up here or there, maybe a filter, but yeah, it looks good enough as is. Also, off-topic, but people keep mentioning that Grisala serie sin this thread, and it's KS did reach almost 500k I see - is it any good? Worth it for the story, basically? I looked at on VNDB and I thought it looked like harem comedy.

Yeah, KS works funny like that. There's usually hundreds of thousands of dollars in people waiting to pledge...once it reaches it's goal or a certain stretch goal. It's ironic because if these same people just...pledged, the goal or stretch goal would be hit instantly. It's just human nature, even though you lose nothing if a KS fails...and you can cancel your pledge at any time before the KS ends...and the money isn't taken out right away anyways...

So...I may have made a few miscalculations these last few days. It started with Majikoi. I booted it up and the sound, well, sounded kinda bad. Like low quality Stereo, you know? Right away my brain went into a "This isn't right" mode. So I checked my windows sound settings, I checked my speaker wires, I checked my receiver and nothing was wrong with any of them. I updated my sound drivers as well, just incase. At the same time this was happening, my friend purchased me Dying Light to play. Starting it - the sound sounded...off. Like muffled, the same kinda situation that was happening in Majikoi. I assumed my speaker or receiver had gone bust and was frantic with trying stuff. It only hit me today, to go to the Dying Light forums and ask if anyone else had had similar issues with 5.1 audio in Dying Light. It turns out yes, it is a common problem in Dying Light in 5.1 to have muffled sfx like footsteps and attack sounds. Upon reading this, I am now wondering... How does the audio for anyone else sound in this title? I realize it's only a stereo title, no VN really has 5.1 support. But does it sound a little low quality to anyone else? I just realized I wasn't playing any other games besides Dying Light + This, and I hadn't really -tested- other games to see if the issue was there, which I am doing now and...I can't seem to find much of ad ifference. I am starting to wonder if this is all in my head =/ How is the audio for you? Is it crisp and clear? Or a little muddy?

I can't believe how much money it has already. That's insane. I remember famous developers doing Kickstarters with promising new series barely breaking that in the first day. VN fans are scary... Also, how would a steam Release go? It'd have to be heavily censored, not just for sex, but for violence and gore, no? I can't wait to see a comparison between the current translation and the one they are releasing.
