All the information you need is in this thread, repeated 1800 times. If you honestly can't understand it yet, I think it might be a good idea to just let this go now. You probably won't ever get what the issue is if it hasn't become obvious yet. No one is out to get anyone here. People are honestly trying to explain in a calm manner. If you take a bit of a break, and come back to the thread later, then I'm sure it will make sense.

Heh, that is one way to word it I guess. I personally just don't like games with censored / cut content, no matter how insignificant the actual cuts are. It's more of a principle really.

Well, the race has started and Fuwa has spoken. The majority of people are rooting for Kaguya's Minion, (Eclipsed) with 16 votes against The Yuri Fag's (me) 8 votes. Who will come out victorious? As of right now, I have personally done the prologue, common + Akane route. Not sure where Eclipsed is at the moment. Now, for those of you thinking, "wait, this was serious? I thought this was just some stupid thing you guys would forget about after 2 minutes." Well, (I actually just wanted to post that picture. For all I know, Eclipsed might already have forgotten about the race )

Has anyone tried out the Kaoru route yet? Is that a legit route, or is it just a silly bonus thing like the Majikoi side routes? EDIT: Unrelated, but I just came across this star wars refrence in the translation... lol (Heads up: contains a CG from the Akane route.)

From the looks of things, they were very focused on not changing much. It seems like they really wanted to leave in as much of the original line as possible. I personally agree that it's a bit of a strange choice, but you see this a lot in fan translations. Considering their attitude towards localization companies, (who usually always change it so that it reads well in English,) it's not that surprising. Yeah, that is what I meant my first post, but it came out a bit awkward. Just like you said, even when she doesn't even use a pronoun in the original line, they still put "Yuzu" in the third person there. My guess would be that they were thinking something along the lines of, "since she ususally does talk about herself in the third person, that is her personality, so we can't use anything else for her lines!"

She speaks about herself in the third person, like some Japanese characters do. They left it in completely unchanged, (in fact, they even sometimes put in her name in the third person when she doesn't mention her own name in the original line.)

Seems pretty good to me. It is quite literal though, which might be a bit annoying to some people. (Like leaving in third person speech patterns in the English translation, leaving in some things like "If it's Yuzu then..." and "even if you tell me that", that feel a bit unatural in English.) But yeah, not bad at all, you can see the effort they put into it. It's very comfortable reading it, (if you are able to overlook some of those literal translations.)

He does have a face, yes. "void skills", if you mean the powers that the other characters have, well, you will have to play the game to find out

Another site that works fine for us foreigners is Gyutto, though the whole site is in Japanese. I made a guide a bit back on how to buy games there:

You can pack a lot more information in a Japanese sentence. Because of this, it's quite common that English translated lines will be a lot longer, and sometimes this means the line will be too long for the text box. They then continue that line in a new dialogue box. If you have "cancel voices on mouse click" enabled, you won't hear a voice during that line, despite it being a voiced line. It most likely also won't be possible to replay the voice on that particular line. (But all you have to do is replay the original voiced line, and you hear it all.) That's all.
