Poll over, winner: Majikoi S So I'm burning through the Koiken Otome fandisk at the moment, so I'm set on the untranslated side of things for a bit, but I need a new translated VN to read. I have a few games that has been sitting in my "READ US YOU MORON!" folder for too long, (yes, that is the name of the folder,) and I decided to grab one out of there. But then I was like, wait, which one of these should I start with? I'm left with three now, but don't know which one I should go with first. So... decide for me! Help a poor little scrub out. The games are: - Noble Works - Comyu - Majikoi S Will leave the poll open for 12 hours.

The game doesn't have routes like in Kajitsu. The actual main route is separate from the after routes. You can read it in any order you want. The after routes continues the story from the routes in Kajitsu, and the main route is a new "what if" route that doesn't use any main heroine. EDIT: Ah, also keep in mind that the current steam version is a censored version with all H-content removed, (which might sound like nothing, but the game has a lot of it,) so I'd wait for the full Denpasoft release if you want to play it in its original state.

You sound really passionate, and that is always nice to see People like all sort of stuff here, so don't worry about being looked at strangely for your tastes. Characters/ heroines in VNs often have personality traits that makes them appealing to different people for different reasons. We already have several threads about what traits you like and dislike in a character. But, I was playing Minato's route in Koiken Otome ~Revive~ earlier, and her seriously adorable top hat gave me this idea. Basically, post some of your favorite pictures of characters with certain adorable / memorable accessories. (Think like hats, headbands, hair accessories, whatever. Anything that stands out as cute or impactful in a way to you. Doesn't have to be headwear, that was just what came to mind for me right away.) So I'll start it things with Minato's adorable top hat. Her normal apperance is also really cute, with the flower ... hair ... thingies. (I'm so good at this stuff.)

That is a part of the common route, however it is a point in the story where you can start to trigger flags and begin moving into small parts of the routes. Once you are in the actual routes you will see it though. (Save, then try to load. You will see the heroine's face on the save slot, instead of just the normal weapon that is displayed there.) The common route is pretty long.

Hopefully Flying Pantsu decides to do the fandisk too though, yeah. From what I have played so far it is very enjoyable.

All the routes are very similar in their overall build up, so you should expect something rather similar in the amount of drama and the way it is resolved in all four. But of course, all of them are different in their own way. The one with the most dramatic developments is probably Yuzu's and Akane's. I'd go with one of those two if that is a really important factor for you, but keep in mind that this is a moege and that is very clear in all the routes.

Akane is indeed pretty great. Almost felt like she is the "true heroine" to me, with the way the put so much focus on her during the common route, and the way her route is. I absolutely love her speech pattern and her voice actress. So cute.

It's not the norm at all actually. Very few games get censored, but with Sekai Project the chance is a lot higher than with other companies. If that changes, chances are that censorship of eroge coming to the west will be all but gone. Hopefully they are paying attention to all the people who disagrees with their attitude. There is a difference between being aware of their fans' complaints, and actually doing something about it.

Huh, never even heard of this game, always cool to see translation patches suddenly released though. The art looks very pretty despite being a bit old in style. Might give it a go at some point
