It depends on the context. While a complete douchebag, Hitler did manage to rally his base of people to a high level of power and conquered a lot of Europe. You don't do that without some sort of leadership skills. That's not to say anyone should admire him or strive to be like him whatsoever. It's really all in how you interpret it. Objectively speaking, Hitler did have success as a leader. Subjectively speaking, he was a dick.

So I've finished the VN. Great art. Excellent dialogue. The protagonist is pretty decent, for the most part. Stories tend to start off well, but they mostly peter out by the endings. Most of the endings disappointed me. The exceptions being Sachi's good ending, and, for some reason, Makina's. 7/10 overall. Solid effort.

Otome game. Female protagonist learns all boys are stupid. Forsakes boys and becomes Galactic Emperor. The end.

I couldn't find the joke I think he's referring to the top post of page 424... where the protagonist has run into his ex at the supermarket, and gets to boss her around because she's working as a clerk.

You really don't need to know Japanese if you want to play it, half the stuff that matters is in English anyway, and for the rest there's a plethora of guides. Guess I gotta pick the female avatar, the dude looks too much like Shinji.

Which ones have you completed? Edit: Never mind, you mentioned on previous page. I'm sad you couldn't get into Amane's route. I'm almost done, I finished Sakaki's route last night in between other things, so I'm just down to Sachin's. If I had to describe Amane's route, I'd say it was a well-written absurdity. In fact, I'd say the dialogue between Amane and Kazuki might be the best exchange between two characters in the entire visual novel. But in choosing a circumstance that could actually have the best chance of happening but having it in such a modern time period, it just makes it hard for me to buy into it. Probably because it brings an element that was completely under control of the outside world and it was played out in a way that just doesn't make sense for a modern age, high-tech, high-intelligence society like Japan.
