  1. Have you wondered who were the most popular visual novel characters from a certain visual novel, series, company, or even from a whole year? This video will highlight some notable online popularity polls done by Japanese developers.
  2. Kunado Chronicles has a unique post-apocalyptic setting, interesting societal customs, and ongoing fight against the Tekki aka sentinet corrupted machines. Seeing the Kotodama back from Amatsutsumi, and a blend of interesting genres like action and character development drama was nice to see. This review covers my thoughts on the most recently released Purplesoft visual novel in the west. Huge thank you to @Shiravune for providing me a review copy for this video!
  3. Renai Royale Love's A Battle. ASa Project is defined by their goofy, degenerate, and stupid over the top comedy, sometimes called bakage. This VN emphasizes a high school love harem battle royale. Ultimate Boob Wars. One of the few nukiges I openly like. The setting alone is hilarious and much of dialogue is funny too. The H scenes are fine but weren't the big draw.
  4. There's a bunch of visual novels I read a while back, and have little to no video reviews, so I'm starting a video series I'm going to call "Ange's Visual Novel Quick Recommendations" In this video I talk about Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort: Tsujidou-san no Jun'ai Road. A unique delinquent girl heavy setting with emphasis on comedy action and some romance melodrama. The closest we'll get to another Majikoi. Rewrite OkaKen Idols and Cradles Tale, two fun but optional spinoffs. They both can be finished in an hour or less. Idols can be good for newcomers, Cradles for post-Terra fluff. Edelweiss, Overdrive's first visual novel. It has some degenerate comedy, but I thought it was entertaining and wholesome. Has an interesting setting and melodrama. My Fair Princess. Imagine a "rich school" setting but a little more emphasis on wholesomeness and theatre instead of a princess cheating you in like in Evangile or Kinkoi. A full visual novel review for Honey * Honey * Honey! A very unique setting with gender segregation laws with some of the weirdest humor I've seen in VNs. Was pretty short with only 3 heroines but a decently fun time.
  5. Ever been interested in extracting high quality assets from visual novels like sprites, CGs, art, music, sound effects, and scripts? Let me introduce to a tool called GARBro! This 10 minute tutorial will go over a few different visual novel examples.
  6. Added: Tonework's (Hatsukoi, Hoshi Ori, Gin'Iro) - https://discord.gg/MPExbVqazK
  7. It's Valentine's Day 2023 so why not celebrate by making a small video on explaining why Mashiro Tsukino from Making Lovers is my number 1 favorite heroine from visual novels? And also how she surpassed Kotori Kanbe from Rewrite.
  8. Have you ever been interested in tracking your time read in visual novels or generally organizing them but don't have at least some on Steam? Allow me to introduce you to this tutorial on "VNManager" developed by Micah686
  9. I've collected a whole bunch of physical merchandise and goods related to visual novels over the years. If you're interested and what I've got, I gave a brief tour of what I have at my apartment. Not going to show NSFW stuff for obvious reasons.
  10. Aiyoku no Eustia is one of the most highly anticipated visual novel translations. I've had the privilege of being a QC for the upcoming fan translation. This non-spoilery video will explain what to expect fron the visual novel and why it's so hyped up.
  11. The term visual novel is thrown around, yet many people loosely decide fringe cases based on inconsistent metrics. In this video I'm going to be talking about 10 series that people consider visual novels that I do NOT consider visual novels.
  12. Usually when people talk about their favorite BGM in visual novels they talk about specific songs. However in this video I want to talk about my personal top 10 favorite overall soundtracks in visual novel series.
  13. What if I told you that moege is the true kamige of visual novels? Watch this video and be educated. This meme idea was inspired by a panel I saw at PAX west. Big thanks to @Jrr for editing.
  14. Huge shout out to @TheLocalWeeb7 for doing the editing for this review. Amatsutsumi is a visual novel released by Sekai Project in English, originally developed by Purple Soft. It's a very interesting mix of romance and plot. My longest VN review yet.
  15. Tested some visual novels on Steam Deck natively if you want to try adding to a Verified list
  16. Visual Novels may be a niche medium, but there's actually a solid amount of VN YouTubers who make good content and/or are successful. In this video I wanted to highlight a variety of what I consider 40 notable Visual Novel-related YouTube channels.
  17. Have you ever been interested in the Japanese fanbase's opinion on certain visual novels and eroge? Why not check out erogamescape, aka Japan's version of vndb? This video will be a tutorial on how to use some of the basics features of erogamescape.
  18. I've been wanting to do a review of one of my favorite visual novels: A Sky Full of Stars/Miazora. I've also wanted to do a video shilling my favorite VNTubers. Why not combine both and do a review while mimicing the styles of my favorite VNTubers?
  19. Thanks for the feedback. Now with that said... If people want discussion topics, why don't they make them themselves? There's rarely people making new topics these days. We don't even get Discussion topics for all the new VNs anymore. A lot of regulars are sticking to blog posts it seems If we're talking about FuwaNovel being a dying site, maybe they should do something besides be that one site+forum that used to hold illegal downloads publicly, then having people not use it anymore when the illegal DLs weren't around anymore.
  20. Ihop's Burgers are pretty good tbqh
  21. I welcome savage comments like his tbh. At least I know who doesn't care about my videos.
  22. Common routes are one of the features most used and unique to a visual novel. They tend to be used for building up the characters and setting before getting into any story or character routes. This video shows my personal top 10 favorite common routes.
  23. IxShe Tell the main dude is super popular from the beginning, albeit more because he opened up romance to the school though maybe they like his looks too
  24. The Visual Novel Monthly Recap for February 2022 is now out! A bunch of highly requested patches were announced or released. A few releases people have been waiting for are now out as well. Not to mention some last minute announcements.
