  1. Good news: A new Langrisser game has been announced: http://www.siliconera.com/2015/02/03/new-langrisser-game-announced-nintendo-3ds/
  2. Been doing the Act 2 character quests in Dragon Age 2: playing Cupid for Aveline was funny, Anders...isn't the same without his cat, gave Isabella a toy boat, helped out Sebastian, romanced Merrill, and Varric is awesome B) .
  3. Shuffle! and its fandisks Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru Edelweiss and its fandisk (though fair warning has a weak start and Haruka's route gets heavy on the drama) Demonbane (Al's true ending; advice: skip Leica's route, it's not very good) Come See Me Tonight 1 and 2
  4. On Act 2 of Dragon Age 2; enjoying the story and character so far, about my only complaints about it are the occasional game freeze glitch and the recycled map/level design.
  5. Outlast Outlast: Whistleblower
  6. Came across this Kickstarter project for a mystery/adventure VN that claims to draw from the Ace Attorney and Persona series for inspiration: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/frontierfirst/irathian-chronicles-on-golden-wings?ref=category
  7. Playing eden*
  8. Currently in Act 1 of Dragon Age 2, just completed the quest that has Merrill join. It's been pretty good so far, the characters I've encountered have been pretty good and at least have interesting character moments.
  9. As long as the end result of the fight is a string of yuri ero scenes
  10. Things do not seem to be boding well for Zestiria: http://www.siliconera.com/2015/01/27/japanese-gamers-tales-zestiria-alisha-costs-1300-yen/ http://www.siliconera.com/2015/01/27/tales-zestiria-get-dlc-happens-alisha-game/
  11. If you have a PS3 or PSP/Vita there's Hakuoki. If you want something with a good number of heroines, various possible endings and don't mind dark stuff on the untranslated end there's MinDead Blood, though in that game you're mainly choosing locations and which of the main characters will be at that location. https://vndb.org/v1060 Also from Black Cyc is Extravaganza: https://vndb.org/v324 Doesn't have as good a story as MDB (still pretty good though), but it has a large cast of characters who are at least interesting and is so full of choices the game actually maps them out. Thing is if you don't like tentacle ero, this is definitely not for you.
  12. Completed the Girl's Heart stories for Hebijo and all the Hanzo girls except Daidoji in Shinovi Versus. I've just started playing two games, first Dragon Age 2, which so far doesn't seem so bad though I only just finished the prologue. The second game is a game I played at PAX South called Freedom Planet and enjoyed what I played enough to buy it on Steam and its proven to be a fun game so far, the character I'm currently playing as, Lilac, plays a bit similar to Sonic but has her own unique styles too.
  13. Giving Space Pirate Sarah a look, story's actually decent (for this type of game) and the artwork and H content is good so far. I am currently past the second chosen ero scene...and I think I know what may be going on about something...
  14. Just read Deadpool: Dracula's Gauntlet; probably the best Deadpool comic I've read so far as the humor was funny, the story easy to follow without any need of knowledge of prior Deadpool stories, and they managed to make a pretty good story of one of the craziest Marvel characters getting into a relationship that's believable but works with the character.
  15. Been clearing some quests in Shadowrun Dragonfall: DC...wow I'm enjoying this game more than I expected. The companions are all interesting, the sidequests so far have neat stories and the main story's going along at a nice pace. About the only complaint I have so far is it can take hours to fight your way out of a building. Also, this game now has me wishing for a Demonbane crossover... http://shadowrun.wikia.com/wiki/Black_Lodge
  16. Speaking of Black Cyc... MinDead Blood and its fandisk has that with twins Mayu and Mana, though you see it more in the fandisk Extravaganza kind of has this though you're playing mainly from the POV of its heroine Yumemi. In some routes she can get pretty crazy.
  17. My favorite nukige is Waffle's Kyonyuu Fantasy series, one of the few that has a good story to go along with the H content: http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2012/10/import-games-for-adults-kyonyuu-fantasy.html http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2012/10/import-games-for-adults-kyonyuu-fantasy_27.html http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2013/08/import-games-for-adults-kyonyuu-fantasy.html http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2014/01/import-games-for-adults-kyonyuu-fantasy.html http://gamesforadultsandeveryone.blogspot.com/2014/10/import-games-for-adults-halloween.html
  18. Been playing Shadowrun Dragonfall: Director's Cut and so far it's been a good play, more interesting story than the previous game and the characters so far have interesting personalities. Am liking how the choices you make in conversation determine not just your character's personality but also backstory, curious to see if this is going to have any story impact later...
  19. Final Fantasy IX and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue I pick these two because they were the first RPGs I really got into story-wise, I got very invested in the characters, loved the music and I enjoyed the settings. Honorable mentions: Metal Gear Solid/Twin Snakes Enjoyed the sneaking aspect, the story was well paced and interesting and Twin Snakes gave the original a nice graphic improvement. Xenogears Enjoyed this in about the same way as my two picks, the only reason this one lost out is because the latter half had some rushed moments.
  20. There is one eroge I've played that's similar to Phoenix Wright, elf's Shin Mikagura Shoujo Tanteidan: https://vndb.org/v1092 http://www.elf-game.co.jp/net_shop/soft/special/mikagura/mikagura.html Not only do you do investigations but (in the main game) you also get to examine in game dialogue to look for clues. There's also some puzzle solving too. Interestingly this game is kind of three games in one as in addition to the main story there's two short games that act as prequels to it that also feature FMV style anime scenes, some of which have events where you need to click at certain spots to advance the scene (the game lets you retry if you fail them). Neither of these two games feature any H content which has me curious if they were either originally on console or were intended for console. The only problem is this game is untranslated (would be nice if someone fixed that officially or unofficially (and yes I have asked MG).
  21. I agree that they make good beginner material for the newcomers and for me they have value for when I want some light reading.
  22. I knew it was too good to be true http://www.rpgfan.com/news/2015/2459.html
  23. Oh yeah, there is one more coming out (at some point) that may interest you if you're a fan of at least Detective Conan: http://www.dctp.ws/conankindaichi/
  24. There is one other game in english that might fit your bill, this one being inspired by Edgeworth's game. https://vndb.org/v10345 Thing is since this is a game based off My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, if you're not a fan of the series this won't be for you.
