My import order of Ayakashibito PSP arrived and I've started Hounan's route. So far it's taken an interesting turn from Touko's route, especially in how it sets things up for Soushichi and Hounan to actually have a conversation with one another...and the latter can be pretty funny.

Finished Mayuki's route, really enjoyed it, maybe a little more than Benio's route. Also finished Kaoru's route and overall it was good though I was kind of annoyed at how one aspect of the ending seems there just to tease you that the ending isn't canon

Reading's been a hobby of mine since early childhood, even before I got into gaming. One of the types of books I read quite a bit of were the choose your own adventure type books, mainly D&D Endless Quest and Lone Wolf. The first pure VN I came across was actually the english DVD release of Phantom of Inferno while I was browsing for some new anime at my local Suncoast; the description sounded alot like a game-ified version of that genre I enjoyed so I bought it, played it, and enjoyed it but due to high school graduation and other things didn't have much time to look further into this new genre I'd discovered. Later I'd watch the anime version of Tsukihime, hear it was based on a game, did some browsing and from there learned more about VNs. I then found JAST, ordered a couple games that sounded good like Crescendo and the rest is history

Nearly finished with Mayuki's route in Comyu, which has proven to be a surprisingly enjoyable route as the story's kind of fun and Mayuki and Akihito so far have the best chemistry, and I've gotten through a good portion of Kaoru's route in Ayakashibito. I admit it has a glaring flaw of a slow start, but

Getting quite a few chuckles out of Mayuki's route in Comyu, enjoying it quite a bit more than Hisoka's route

Just completed Hisoka's route...it was interesting but in comparison I like Benio's route a little better as that one was more fun to read while Hisoka's just left me exhausted by the end.

Finished Benio's route yesterday, decent route overall though the ending kind of feels like it only occurred because the plot ran out of steam.

Just watched the last episode of the Toriko anime; overall pretty good ending even though the fights for that arc dragged a bit. Hope they do a continuation someday

Well that's one reason I love that series. It's able to take a zombie concept that sounds ridiculous and make it effective (with one exception that will go unnamed... )

Finished Touko's route; pretty good though I think the Hounan related plot dragged a bit at the start, also would've liked to see more of Touko and Soushichi interacting after their relationship started. Currently on Tonya's route; while the relationship building isn't as good as Touko's I can say this one is funnier so far.

Okay been playing it and I'm really enjoying it; the action is so far handled well enough and I am liking how the relationship between Ryouichi and Suzu's being established. Speaking of Suzu thought her voice sounded familiar and did some looking up and found it was the VA for Mayo from Majikoi
