Going to give Devils Devel Concept another try, starting with Kanata's route, I am currently past where the english translation stopped. I'm pleasantly surprised to find so far it's not as hard to read as I remember

Not bashing your opinion, it's just hearing that saying just has it that I can't resist posting this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nk_zpMory-0 As for me, off the top of my head... Manyuu Hikenchou I generally like fan service anime, but this one took things in a little too far to the point of being gross. Dropped this after two episodes Platonic Heart/Master of Martial Hearts That ending...if it was going to end like that it should have just been a straight up hentai OVA. Love Hina Between telling almost the exact same joke over and over and the central Keitaro/Naru pairing less believable than an episode of Ancient Aliens (not to mention the only likable heroines ended up as side characters) I had to fight the urge to hunt down and throw every DVD I bought of this series at the guy who recommended it to me when I mentioned one of my favorites was Tenchi Muyo. And before anyone mentions the manga, while I'll admit that had some good stories, the ending was crappier than the anime one.

Already feel that way playing Kotori's route...

Taking a break from Bravely Default to play Pokemon White. Been a while since I've played a Pokemon game and I've forgotten how fun it was so this is making for an excellent reminder

Been playing Yoiko's route in Tsujidou-san no Virgin Road, gotta hand it to Minatosoft games for telling you when Japanese holidays are (it's apparently White Day today)

Thanks for the advice, though I actually was trying to keep the review as spoiler free as possible. I did try to avoid getting too specific with story elements for the routes as I talked about them, though it seems I need improvement on that front. I can say I've seen worse spoiler filled reviews, in fact one of the reviews I came across for this game flat out tells you without warning important plot details such as Also I can understand liking Majikoi more as there are quite a few things it does better than TJR such as route branching, artwork, etc. In the end though I just happen to like the two about as much since I like the characters about as much.
