  1. I thought those graduations were really stiff formal stuff. Lol those clothes..
  2. HAHAHAHA, yup. I'll never forget that lol. It was the moment I realised.
  3. This year hmmm. I suppose Eusita, Baldr sky 1+2, draculius and Ruitomo.. I loved all of them really.
  4. I'd like the Akatsuki Goei series to get a TL. I really liked the the first game and its sequel (One of my fav vn's). Eusita and Baldr goes without saying as well ofc.
  5. Oh, and yes, you would definitely want to stick to reading Subahibi in japanese if you can the first time. The writer's mind is pretty unique and getting the original content with all the proper understanding and all the specific thought put into it is best. It's extremely important, after all. Though, because the text in Subahibi is really simple, a relatively near-perfect English translation is highly plausible (and from what I've seen so far, it's gotten such wonderful treatment in English). Okay, simple enough to follow those choices. Always open to choice/path suggestions if it makes the vn a better experience. No doubt is the writer quite the personality. When you read the abstract stuff or concept talks. It's like you are eating a wonderful philosophy parfait. A lovely multi towered feast for the mind he he he.. Also a screw for the mind, lol. As I see it, keeping a similar feeling for some passages for the translation will be challenging. Luckily you don't really need to understand all the references in the vn to translate it I would imagine. But keeping the wacky stuff, wacky in English. You need good English to do that. Lol, I realized my comment on a tl is really offhand. I haven't even completed vn yet haha. Either way, more people being able to enjoy this vn would be great. I hope the guy keeps up the good work.
  6. I noticed there was some: Either way, I'll do as you reccommend haha. I am going to play some with the choices and see what happens.. hmm. Also your profile name.. Ayana Reading suba again in english seems like a good idea. Might be able to catch up some stuff you missed the first time around. Or get another view of things. I am going to stay to jap the first time around, I prefer to read it in jap if it's possible for me.
  7. Completed chapter 2 of SubaHibi now. I take back what I said about SabaHibi, it's quite hard to read longer into. Very long explanations, seemingly random speeches, abstract conversations, book quotes etc. I can manage though.. I still find it very enjoyable to read. I have pretty much decided I am going to complete reading this vn now.
  8. Dat ass (if I am allowed to say so), swimsuit goodie, also nicely drawn. 9/10. Me gusta.
  9. I wish you good luck with anki. Learning japanese is hard at first, but when you start to understand overall how it works and feels. You will find it much more relaxing and fun. Learning jap really opens a new door to looking at anime, manga, vn's, LN's etc. So look forwards to it.
  10. Lol, first though I got at the choas;child trailer was. Omg it's Kirito's voice from SAO haha. Also I agree, these only console releases are stupid. Even more just Xbone exlusive seriously. It's not like the vn market is large enough already to divide it more. Is Nitro+ that deperate nowdays? Nrggh. Troublesome development to be honest.
  11. *Scratches chin* At the start when I was practicing jap, I was really fussy about the font and size. I found it really hard to read if it weren't a nice clear font and big characters. Nowdays, it doesn't really matter much. I just recognise most of the kanji i know and kana's regardless of font and size for some reason. I suppose you start to recognise the kanji as you would recognise english words. Instead of seeing them as as mutiple c h a r a c t e r s, you see it as (characters) one cluster of letters. Which means you make some connection with the overall shape of the kanji, not it's radicals it's made up of. I am guessing this how you start instantly recognise them. Seems probable considering you can just by glancing on the characters you know what they mean. Bottomline, read lots and small font is no problem. ^^
  12. Lol! You ended up going for Reminiscence after Akagoei the same as me haha. Albeit I have already completed reminiscence a few months back hehe. I find it really enjoyble to read vn's with broken protags as well. The more broken the better almost hahaha!
  13. Eien no Aselia -The Spirit of Eternity Sword All ages but a has very good story and setting.
  14. As expected of Nosebleed hahaha. *Thumbs up* I'd reccommend Yosuga no Sora. There is an anime of it as well.
  15. Getting a TL for the sequel is very nice, not so spetacular feeling about the voices though. If there will not be an opinon to change between them. I am crossing my fingers some will make a patch for it.
  16. Well for me, I wouldn't play VN's on a e-ink tablet even if it had colours. The responsiveness really would make reading too slow imo. It's fine for e-books. But you would have to wait for the display change 10000's of times for each line change. That's too much for me until they improve the responsiveness. It's an interesting prospect though. I bet there are other great ways it could be used as well. For me a high res E-ink tablet will suit be perfectly tbh hehe. Oh as for the OP's question, the E-ink tablets looks very nice with LN's...
  17. Woooaaahh-whhhaaaatt. I bought the one of the early versions of kindle, since that day I've really wished it had a much higher res and slightly bigger screen. Finally, this day has come. He he he. ふふふ。。これで俺は最強になる!まさに新世界の神!! Thanks man, I didn't know about this before now!
  18. Started on Subahibi. Nothing major have happened so far. I was quite suprised how easy the majority of the text is. The denpa stuff is the only stuff I actually scruff my head at. The art, bgm, voices and writing style fits my preferances quite nicely. Also this Yuri like harem is quite funny haha. I am too weak against tsunderes dammit. ( I got a feeling it's just a question of time before people start dying though...)
  19. I am honestly not a fan of it, but I can read a vn with NTR. I hardly go out of my way not to read them lol.
  20. Welcome to fuwa! We got corn and VN's! Rememeber to wear a seatbelt and enjoy your stay~~
  21. What a nice surpise. I hope you can find some editors to help you with the text. I remember Zodai made a thread about thing months ago. To think someone was working on a translation on it now, nice.
  22. OH MY GOD, the win! I must buyyyyyyyyy.
  23. Hope you will enjoy it as much I did if you try to read it. Btw when you reach Tomo's letter in the beginning don't worry about it being difficult to comprehend, the rest of the story isin't that hard haha. Yeah, I am going to read the fan disc as well. It kind of passed by my head while I was writing my post. I got it downloaded and ready to be installed. But I am going to hold off on it for a for a while though. Ruitomo required me to concentrate quite often to be able to follow the jokes and story. I need a break from ruitomo level of diffucility, as I find it hard to enjoy reading Rui while being exhausted. I'll likely get around to it in a few weeks when I done with my exams. Btw Vokoca, I read Amane's after story in Meikyuu. Her first H-scene... L0L
  24. The protag in Ruitomo is the best trap protag in existence!! *Slams fist repeatedly into my table to state my point* *BANG* *BANG* I doubt it will ever get a translation though. 2nd I'd say is Shield 9. The protag is a bodyguard trap. It has a partial translation somewhere, he is not so moe though? He is quite serious often with his job. That being said, the vn made me laugh a lot haha. Also I suppose Hideyoshi from the anime baka test.
  25. This ribbon is so kawaiiiii
