Okaaaaaaaay. I cleared the Baldr sky dive 2. Got the true route as well.. I am kinda at a loss for words tbh... The game was awesome, the in-game timer says I played the game (dive 1+2) for a whooping 120 hours. I am impressed as well. I enjoyed the game pretty much all the time. I had 1 or 2 times I found it somewhat hard to continue to read on. But not nearly enough for me to drop the game. My vndb scores of the games ended up on 9.0 for baldr sky dive 1 and 9.3 for baldr sky dive 2. Dive 2 felt like the story dragged somewhat in the start and middle segments. Too much re-reading I suppose. It makes up for that with a improved combat system and an awesome ending. This game has become one of my favorites. Kinda tempted to try to see the other endings. But I find it hard to just startup the game. I get emotional when I think about the ending. I'll likely lay of it for a while before I read some of the other segments. Ehmm, continuing to the next vn I'll be reading. I decided on Rui wa Tomo wo Yobu.

Also that OST during the action scenes, that was almost getting me on Umineko levels of BGM hype. I'm already looking forward to the other routes. Goodie. I also did Akemi's route is quite badass. I friggin loved the action soundtracks as well. They are simply epic imo.

Welcome to the holy vn land fuwa! Also greetings fellow Jap learner~~ I've been studying Japanese for around 6 months now. The most difficult part for me was not starting, but not giving up even when struggling with the language for a few months. After that it becomes a much more relaxing low energy task. My strategy for japanese was learning the kana's and basic grammar and then I read jp vn's slowly with the use of dictionaries. That paid itself a lot in the end luckily. There are lots of ways to reach fluency in japanese. がんばって! And you'll get there ^^

Overall the japanese isn't that hard, mostly what you struggle with is technical words that you get used to after a while. There are some parts of the game I'd think would give translators a headache. -Infodumps, complex explanations, raving religious fanatics. I had problems following some part of those scenes. I'd imagine translating it will be worse... Hardly impossible I'd imagine though. Biggest problem is the series dive1 + dive2 is a total of like 4.6mb of text I think haha. And yes lot's of images in this game. Not nearly as many as in Aselia I think. I am not sure what is images and what's text based sadly, so somewhat hard to say for sure.

Justice is the way to go. I have nothing against reasonable sized plots as well though.

Kaito is badass, look forwards to it hehe. Yeah Ryou is a pretty easily hateble character. I think the first one I chose was pissing long range in the toilet haha. There is also a funny scene when you are supposed to reccommend a hobby to someone. You can choose Eroge, which Katio proceed to call you BAKA! Among other things. haha. There are quite some ridiculous choices throughout the series when I think about it.

Ofc there is! You are busy using your right hand to something rubbing.... MEANWHILE you use your left hand to do normal tasks, such as eating, clicking with the mouse and typing. (Typing with one hand? Badass yes.) After 1000+ hours of vn playing. You gain an immense dexterity of your left hand!! Truly artful ambidextrousty!!

Congratulations completing it~~ Glad you enjoyed it that much ^^ Haha, the curse of having too many vn's to choose from haha. Completed reading all of the good ends in Baldr sky dive1, aka main story. I'll come back to the other ends later. I really really enjoyed this game. -It has great gameplay that improves the quality of story because it puts you more into the into the position of the protag. Combined with cyberpunk setting and a very big interesting story. As you complete each route they give you some piece of the puzzle and slowly you know more. I'd like to tell more about it, but I'd be likely spoiling part of the vn then. I have some complains about the slice of life moments I suppose and a few minor stuff. Stuff really just about taste really. There is quite some brutal scenes and things that you do in the game. That acutally made be cringe after realising what I had acutally done. The devs are somewhat sadist haha. Last but not least I'd like to mention the game is quite long, took me 60 hours to complete it haha. My impressions overall; I give it a 9/10. I am now starting on reading Baldr Sky dive2. It's the direct sequel and continiuation of dive1. I was planning to read another novel really after dive1... But it's quite hard not to continue with the sequel lol.

I don't think a lot of people kick it up to 3000. Most people will get bored by reviewing kanji's by the time you've reached 2200 cards. Adding more cards then is hardly a good idea. That was what I felt anyway when I reached 2200. Besides, heisig is a method for learning kanji. Heiseig doesn't learn you the kanji. It learning you how to connect 1 english word to each kanji and most importantly: Imo how to see the difference between each kanji and catogorize them by memonics rather than only repeated expoture. Anyway there is no single perfect method for learning that works for everyone. Whatever method you choose will drive towards mastery. As long as it's not complete bs haha.
