I just finished the first episode of the Fate/Stay Night anime. I thought it was great!! This series gets a really bad rap, but most people admit that it has "really good moments, and bad moments". Has anybody watched it? Want to give me an idea of what to expect? NOTE: This topic has [LS] notation, meaning light spoilers are to be expected. Read at your own peril!

I like the way Saber put this. It never fails to amaze me when I look at the random posts (this one was originally about fan translation quality) where super-deep Fuwa-philosophy happens! I love it. Harry's post (link) is very well organized and helpful. It's given me a lot to think about, and several of those topics will appear in PM aimed his way. But my most favorite (favorite-est?) And I think it tells us that we are each responsible for generating content. With that said, my challenge is (in a general response to this thought: link): Go on! Blow us away. Give it your best shot and write a mind-blowing, half-day post. By doing so, you're gonna make Fuwanovel that much better, and we'll love anybody for it. I'm more guilty than anybody when it comes to posting too much, (and if it ever is too much, I'll luckily have Harry to tell me.) but I do it because 1) I love the VNs I'm talking about, and 2) I think more quality content is the answer.

Could be real fun Count me in.

PS: Vax and I tried out importing PC saves into the VNDS save folder for Fate. No go : ( Maybe somebody on Weeaboo has more info on how to convert, but for now, it's new games only

Uuuuurrrrrrraaaaaahhhhh!

I like the full-screen dialogue of FSN on the PC, but on the Android version (see this blog post for how to find the converter, see FSN on Fuwanovel on downloading the full game to use with the converter) is really slick with the paragraph-by-paragraph approach. For the first time, FSN's beautiful visuals can be easily appreciated!

I hear this game is awesome, despite the art quality. Can I get some sound-off about it? I'm considering it on my android device (see this blog post), but like everybody else in the universe, am hesitating b/c of art.

Torbin said it best (imo) when he expressed, "I loved how Rin, who was this deadpan (more or less emotionless) girl, who you watched as she ran through these subtle emotions that were, for her, actually huge differences..." (reference) Rin was confused by the ease with which most people switch emotions, when for her the slightest change in emotion was a big deal. I definitely understand where you're coming from, and her route was the hardest for me to enjoy, too, but in the end I realized I needed to accept her for who she is as a character. Once I did that, her route is much easier to appreciate.

I don't know that I could start a VN knowing it's not fully translated. The wait would probably kill me. That said, Fate/HA is easily my most anticipated Vn in recent memory. Have you played it?

Again, despite this game having so many, I never encountered any bad ends ; ) That said, THIS IS THE GREATEST VN EVER. It's MUCH better than Katawa Shoujo (a fact that's painful for me to admit), and is solidly #1 in my book. Once you start, though, it's hard to stop. Prepare for your heart to be smashed and healed. And for lots of emotional investment. And exciting action narrative. Booooom! Edit: Oh yeah, and while all of what I wrote sounds like opinion, it's not. It's fact. F/SN rocks. (Again, fact)

I didn't see the graphic that way at all. I think it's pretty useful as a context. That said, I'd recommend Aaeru's FAQ (this and the other pages) until she has time to reply here.

Hey-- I take full responsibility. I feel pretty bad, sadlol. Okay. Here's the best I can do at the moment (have to run to school in a sec): I stole this from a great breakdown of the game (here). The point: the game ends diferently depending on the girl you choose. If you hold out till the end, you'll fall in love with Usami and get the cannon ending. Feel free to play the game however you'd like. Here's the full walkthrough for the game: G-Senjou no Maou. It includes guides to both good and bad endings. Again, I've never seen the bad endings (don't know why I didn't think of that before. super sorry) and can only speak to the good endings, most especially Usami's route (true end). If you don't want to make the different saves, I'd recommend you choose your desired route, and copy/paste relevant sections.
