Channeling Fate/Stay Night is always a clever tactic with me ; ). Since this sub-forum will include the games, does anyone want to try and work in that angle? EDIT: Boring submission, but simple: "Chatter and Games"?

Hey everybody, In order to increase usefulness, efficiency, use, and bring balance to the force all in one blow, we're going to merge the "games" and "IRC Sub-forum" into one, combined sub-forum. Thing is: we need a good name. Something that's appropriate for forum games, IRC topics, flood topics, and their ilk. Suggestions? Winner-take all, best name wins scenario. Go!

Going to close this (and other) threads if on-topic discussion doesn't resume.

Two quick things: Despite comments earlier, this topic is not moderation-free. There is still a zero-toleration policy on porn or abuse. Second, while a separate conversation goes on about this, I am going to un-pin the topic. That just doesn't make sense to me (but if I'm convinced otherwise, then a re-pin will of course happen).

For the time being, we have no plans for a dedicated VN Creation forum. Two reasons for this: 1) While there have been quite a few VN projects started and discussed on the "VN Discussion" board, it's not common enough to warrant a new section. 2) Past experimentation has led me to be cautious about partitioning discussion too much. Making new forums/sub-forums is a process I've started vetting much more intensely. All that said, I truly hope to see more projects! VN creation is a fun, challenging and rewarding thing. I hope more people will give it a try.

Good thread idea! We've got lots of talented writers on the forums. It'll be fun to see what people have done. I've gotten some poems and fiction published, taught some creative writing classes, and produced lots of fun writing-intensive projects like visual novels. I even published my own student magazine for a while. I enjoy technical writing, but I've never done much with it.
