Maybe I'll skip the next couple and go straight for the last one, then. I've already sat through 5 episodes of the 8 now, so based on what you guys are saying, I've seen more than enough. Good to know.

I'm watching the second season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, but since I'm only halfway through Endless Eight and can't stand more than a couple episodes at a time, I've also gone back to the classics and started watching GTO, which I can't believe I haven't watched until now.

So far... Plastic Memories: Definitely an interesting premise. The joke in the last minute of episode kind of (well, REALLY) killed the mood, but other than that misstep, this has the potential to end up being a great show. Show By Rock: Actually got me to start playing the mobile game. It's not the greatest, but it;s cute and entertaining enough that I'll keep up with it. Also, Cyan is just way too cute. Once I finish watching Haruhi S2 (as well as the movie) I'll start Nagato Yuki no Shoushitsu, but I'm not quite there yet. Meh. Everything else out so far either doesn't interest me, got too many negative reviews for me to bother, or is a sequel to a show I haven't watched yet.

Probably Saber from FSN, because Fate is arguably the most popular vn out there, and she has a pretty unique appearance to begin with. When you can walk into an American game store and see her on the cover of a psp game, that means that even people outside of the vn community have seen her- much like Mario and nongamers.

Since Nagato Yuki is a spinoff, does it matter if I haven't seen all of seasons 1 and 2 of Haruhi yet? I was hoping to finish it before now, but I'm only done with the first season and part of the second, so I don't know if I'll be lost on anything. I doubt it, but I figured I'd ask here.

If I listened to every single line in a VN, I would never finish anything. So I skip everything except important lines where I think listening to the voices would give the scene more impact (examples: confessions of love or death scenes)

I bought this for my PSP a while back, never finished it, and forgot I owned it. What I played was decent though, so I'll have to get back to it eventually.

I needed a place to download VNs without too much hassle, so I visited the download page on multiple occasions.I can't remember the first thing I downloaded here, though. I ended up joining the forum a while later, because I needed a place to talk about VNs besides Tumblr. Eventually I learned how to patch my own games and stopped using the downloads here, but I kept coming back to the forums, obviously.

I'm about an hour from the city, so I just go there every once in a while. It's gorgeous, though.

I read the Chaos;Head vn, but had the good sense to avoid the anime after watching 3 episodes. But since there's no way for me to play the vn at the moment for this one, I guess I'll at least check the anime out.

No, I want to say it was one heroine route from the puppet show route and one from the haunted house route. Although either way, I would honestly recommend saving Otome for last, just because it works best as a final route, imo. You need to clear ALL routes (including the sisters) before the Da Capo story is unlocked though, so maybe that's where you were getting confused?
