  1. As promised... Here's Lupin: And here's Trystan:
  2. I have two cats: Lupin, the violent black cat that people are legitimately afraid of, and Trystan, a cat that has actually lived in my house longer than I've been alive. I'll post pictures later, when I'm not on mobile.
  3. My dad used to sit and watch some stuff with me from time to time, but he wasn't really into it. There was a time a couple of summers ago where my mom texted me asking for recommendations of a manga she could try reading, for... some reason. She got through a volume apiece of Madoka and Kimi ni Todoke and about half of the Air anime before giving up, though, and she hasn't tried any since then. So I guess you could say she wasn't into it.
  4. Finally finished Da Capo 2 after taking way too long to read it. Now I'm going on to play Air, because it's the only non-sequel/fandisc Key game I haven't played yet (even though the anime was what got me into Key in the first place).
  5. Akuma no Riddle Love Live s2 Selector Infected (and Spread) Wixoss No Game No Life Amagi Brilliant Park Grisaia no Kajitsu Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun Parasyte As well as a bunch of shows and movies in my backlog. 2014 was a busy year for me.
  6. Honestly, I'm kind of both sides with this issue, mainly because as a Grisaia fan that is under 18 and still lives with her parents, I would have been forced to support the all-ages release instead of the 18+ one regardless of what Frontwing and SP decided. So while this decision actually helps me when it comes to getting a hard copy of one of my favorite VNs, I can still completely understand why people who have the option and would prefer to pay for the adult version are frustrated regarding the lack of information. The fact that there's so little confirmed when the Kickstarter is tomorrow is pretty bad planning on the parts of the people involved. So i guess I'm just kind of conflicted on this issue. I'm going to support it regardless, though, since it looks like I can do so now.
  7. Wow, a lot has been added since the last time I checked the list. There's actually some good looking stuff there now. So far, my list is: Ansatsu Kyoushitsu Death Parade Koufuku Graffiti Saenai Heroine no Sodate-kata The Rolling Girls Yuri Kuma Arashi And I'll be continuing Parasyte. I also might start Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso soon, and keep up with it for the second half. in before I drop half of these two weeks in
  8. I'm loving this anime so far. It got me to finally start reading the manga after having it in my backlog for a looooong time. I'm trying to stay behind the anime for the time being, though, just to maximize the effect of the cliffhanger episodes.
  9. So I had a ton of extra time tonight, and decided to get my entry in sooner rather than later. Because I didn't feel like baking for my entire family, I just made a giant snickerdoodle. It wasn't the best cookie I've ever eaten, but it got the job done. I picked this recipe because for me, the holiday season is all about cinnamon. Seriously, I put it in my drinks, on my cookies, and pretty much anywhere else it'll fit. So why not bake a cookie that has cinnamon in it?
  10. From this year... I can't really decide, so my list: Soushou Innocence (Akuma no Riddle) This Game (No Game No Life) Killy Killy Joker (Selector Infected Wixoss) (I like World End, Girl's Rondo too, but not quite as much) YES!! (Sabagebu) Extra Magic Hour (Amagi Brilliant Park) Let Me Hear (Parasyte) ...This was a good year for openings, okay?
  11. I'll join! Unfortunately I'm super poor, but I can draw something, if nothing else.
  12. The only thing I think they should have tried to fit in was the event that actually led to Amane sharing her past. In the vn, iirc, it started when While having it come up the way it did in the anime still works, I think it lacks impact. Maybe that's just me, though. Otherwise, I agree that the first portion of her route was relatively unimportant in the scheme of things.
  13. I don't really like it when a VN doesn't have choices, but since there are some good ones that I still think are worth playing, I picked the" They're fun, but I wouldn't play them often" option. It also depends on how the story itself works with the format- Planetarian and Narcissu were great examples of the Kinetic format done right, but I think something like Killer Queen would have really benefited from some choices. So it can either add to the experience or detract from it.
  14. Well, obviously all the leadup to Angelic Howl was crammed into about 5 minutes, but once they got to the flashback, that was probably the most faithful adaptation they've done so far, as far as I can tell. They only covered day 1 though, so how they cover some of the later scenes remains to be seen. I highly doubt that they'll go into as much graphic detail as the VN did. Also, that illustration during the ending credits was gorgeous. I want a full-size version to use as my wallpaper.
  15. Can't forget:
  16. Oh yeah, forgot about Sharin. Also, another one I forgot about was the final chapter of ef. The first half of that game wasn't very good, but once Yuuko's story came in... wow.
  17. This was a really hard choice for me since I have a long list of favorites, but this is probably my favorite in recent memory, so I'll post it for the time being: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8md9dNe37NU
  18. I went to a Japanese market today, and got some pretty great snacks and merch. I never expected to come home with Amagi goods, and I beat the odds and got best girl on a NGNL pin. Also, curry blocks. Because I looove me some Japanese curry rice. I had it for lunch while I was there, too,
  19. Gonna jump on the Lucia bandwagon- I hate tsunderes, and I assumed that her route would be terrible, but it ended up being one of the best routes, and Lucia really grew on me. More recently in Da Capo 2, Minatsu's route was the exact same way. Why do tsunderes get such good routes?
  20. I'm about 99% sure that this counts as a Santa Hat (you can't see the back, but it looks Santa-Like), so count me in. Hard copies of Key VNs are my life.
  21. Yessss, quality prizes as always. Looking good.
  22. Tch... I've gotta step up my game.
  23. I'm not sure how to vote on this, because while it depends on the game, I usually prefer them to be somewhere in the middle. t the same time, though, there are some VNs that I was glad had a longer run time (Grisaia no Kajitsu), some that REALLY tested my patience (Muv Luv Alternative), and some games that worked better with a shorter run time (Saya no Uta). So it really depends, but I usually prefer games in the Medium-long range.
