Most games are crap; 90% of AAA game industry is pure shit and people eat that stuff for breakfast and say it's good. What else do you expect? Only a bunch of writers are decent enough to pull it off, as I mentioned. That's why we most often read mediocre stories. Still, even those are enjoyable and people read them anyway. I'm still happy SP is interested in bringing up interesting doujin projects, rather than the crap you see on MG's front page. You need to learn to enjoy decent stuff, especially if it's made by amateurs; those games are often better than most AAA productions anyway, mostly because doujin creators aren't bound by the same set of restrictions AAA developers have to abide. I still consider WEE a better pick. If you're looking for something interesting, you'd better get it instead of Fault, as long as you're able to cope with Hasekura's writing and points of interest. As for the western-oriented writing, it might mean a lot of things. It might as well be a blunder on SP's side; it might mean the world presented in Fault is more of a medieval fantasy and relate to our customs and traditions more than things that typically drive most of japanese fantasy settings. Eitherway, it might be interesting to check it out.

This is considered a good novel and I'm interested to give it a go, even though the premise does not seem that original, again - it's all about execution; ideas are disposable and I've seen plenty of "original" creators who failed miserably with their works. If I had to chose between a badly written story containing really fresh content and a well written story build upon dull and overused ideas, I'd chose the latter by all means. The real magic that hooks people doesn't come from the idea itself, but the way everything is built upon it. A great writer, who knows how to execute his writing can turn the most dull and prosasic life moments into captivating tales. I'm really interested to see this western-oriented type of japanese writing, as awkward it may sound. It might open up visual novels towards more people and the fact the art is really good and retains the anime stylistics important to the genre makes it a game worthy of attention.

However you'd look at it, it's just an event. It's completely not worth for a F2P user to waste his loveca stones, just to get a single card that's going to be available after the event, anyway. In my case, it would be a complete waste of resources. I might understand players who treat Umi as their favorite character, but otherwise the best choice of action is to always save up for the 10+1 draw.

Yeah, it's already certain. If you're feeling seriously about this event, it won't be possible to keep up without using stones. It's only the third day and there's seven left, but the stream of people going up above my constantly improving score is increasing rapidly. It's definately going to be though and I bet that most clever and dedicated players will wait till the final day and grind till the very end by constantly refilling their LP. I'm going to check whether I'll be able to keep up; if not, I'm just going to give up and focus on more important things. I could get stones from my normals and it shouldn't take that long.

If you get the connection error message, you can safely leave the game on and it will send the data again when the connection will be back. It works. As long as the client doesn't close, it will work. The game has one pro in this case; although it might feel like an issue on the behalf of the development team, the game has no means of allowing to be shut down - you need to do it manually through system manager, otherwise it always stays up working in the background, just like your average mmo client. The game will always remain running as long as the user wishes, it doesn't turn itself off in case of system prompts. That's a huge plus in case of random connection hickups. Of course, a lot depends on the system and device as well. Systems on certain devices are sometimes manually redesigned by manufacturers and might work differently in certain cases, but in overall you can always leave the game running in the background and it should never be shut down by the system.

Actually, the way the game works is quite decent - it doesn't rely on constant internet connection; the only thing the games needs connection for is to mainly send a receive information from the servers; it happens between the screens and there's even an icon indicator in the top right corner that tells you when the game tries to connect with the servers. It does need a permament connection to send the information, but if you happen to come onto issues, you can basically leave the game up after it fails to send data to the server and wait till your connection is back. You won't lose anything that way. If you're worried it might take a while, just plug your device to the charger so the battery won't die beforehand; I know certain android devices can sometimes automatically close/restart applications as it's connected with their system and memory management, but if that happens you can force the screen to always remain on, instead going into sleep.

I went down to ~2700 in the ranking. I'm actually wondering whether people started to mass refill their LP with stones since yesterday. Maybe it's actually not worth to try anymore, since I can't stay as competitive as those with good teams full of rares. I should propably focus on clearing as much side stories to get the remaining gems and do that draw when the event will end. On the other hand, I got a pure Maki today through regular scouting! Now if only I could get my hands on Nico...

I'm currently somewhere around 2100 in the event ranking. It would be nice to get into 2000 and there's still a lot of time. If I will manage to keep up with the pace, it might actually become possible when I'll level up my whole team in the meanwhile.

It seems the cool cards are kinda rare and it's hard to set up a good team able to score well in blue songs, especially in the beggining. Right now it's limiting my capabilities, especially in terms of the event and I could propably score a lot more, if not for the fact my blue team is the weakest; that Ayase has been really useful in my case. I already gave up dreaming about top 1000, it's not possible in my case; the rest of rewards isn't bad either, considering I began a while ago, they might prove more useful since I need to get those 50 gems for the draw. I'm unlucky with cards; so far I only got pure R Kotori from normal draw and haven't seen any other rares; at least I got a bunch of new, decent grade 3 normals. I did that yesterday. Actually, I ended up playing almost whole night and only went to sleep when it was already dawning. The hell am I doing with my life, ending up as a manager to a bunch of cute anime gals (　￣д￣

At times, you kind of wish for such games to be more of indie kind than works made by huge corpos, made to milk as much money out of fans as possible. Besides, it's not like it's any sort of P2W in this case; it's just about bragging and rankings no one even looks at anyway. People who pay to have an advantage in those kinds of games are just spoling their own fun. It's true that the real fun comes out of being a F2P user in this case. Drawing an SR or UR is only enjoyable if it remains what it is - RNG. That's the issue. Somehow, I always end up only with Kotoris T^T I'm so going to grind now.

Yeah, I read about it and I'm currently already saving up gems for that bulk draw. I just wanted to check out how everything works and got lucky. I didn't knew the game sends notifications about lucky draws to people on the friendlist, that's quite neat. As for the event, I doubt novices like me will be even able to get anything from it except that bunch of rewards for clearing subsequent entries; You will propably need a decent team to score high enough; at least I get a taste of what's coming, considering I will play the hell out of this game. I got another R Kotori from basic recruitment a while ago. The issue is... it's only them I get (and not even a same card). I really like Kotori, but this is getting a little overboard; If anything, it should be at least an SR! T^T I so want a NicoMaki as well. *sighs*

Torrents. I'm picky about fansubs, though I have a bunch of favourite groups; sometimes I watch raws. If it's really worth it, I wait for BD's. I'm using K-lite and MPC-HC for playback. If it's possible, I support studios by buying original releases or whatever else possible, provided the are good enough. Watching streams is utter crap.

I was planning to play only a little bit from yesterday in the afternoon, but I ended up sitting till 3AM. I somehow ended up drawing an SR pure Nozomi card. The game's really fun, though my hands seem not ready yet for songs on hard, since I screw up too much I'm going to level up my rares first and get a better team in overall. I wanted to play more, but maintenance started. This is way too addicting!

I used to have fun playing with Akinator long ago. I guess the search algorithms got a lot better by now. It's practically impossible to cheat him, the only case when he won't know is when the character simply isn't in his database or data about it is incomplete or contains errors. Don't try to pick characters from popular works - he will guess everything, sooner or later; it's only a matter of appropriate number of questions. I guess the biggest fun comes out of how fast at times he's actually able to guess people's choices; pure magic (￣ー￣)
