That's because female characters are extremely trope-based in visual novels, especially in terms of sex I'd copy a h scene from a moege here, redact the names, and it'd probably take 20 tries for people to guess the source game right

school clubs full of girls who ALL fall for the only boy there don't really exist either (especially when said boy's shy/not very competent until the climax of a route/passive/"""""comedic""""" sexual harasser) but what can you do, weebs gotta nut

I don't plan on coming back to Turkey permanently before being put into my coffin...

Confession: I'll be immigrating to Canada next September for university. My three main options thus far are British Columbia (UBC), Toronto (UofT) and McGill. Toronto is the most prestigious university in Canada and is pretty much my dream school, and I got admitted this week. However, it costs almost $70 000 (Canadian dollars) a year. That's enough to buy a two-bedroom house in Turkey. Even though my family is quite well off, we'd be stretching our finances to the limit for me to attend UofT. Compare this with McGill, which costs only $45 000 a year. It's madness for me to even consider Toronto in comparison to that (a difference of $25 000!). UBC is somewhere between the two. (Didn't receive an offer from McGill or UBC yet.) I want to tell my parents to send me to McGill, but the thing is, I deeply want to attend Toronto still. The decision is weighing on my mind. If I decide to go to McGill, I might have to hide how disappointed I'll be over being unable to attend University of Toronto and I don't want to burden my parents with that...

Danganronpa 1-2-V3, The Nonary Games, Steins; Gate and S; G0 are your best bets for visual novels. The Binding of Isaac and Downwell for always keeping on your memory card. Soul Sacrifice Delta and Tearaway are must-plays, they're unique to the Vita.

Not with that attitude

What VN's Have You Stalled On? Or Outright Dropped?
Funyarinpa replied to Thatcomicguy's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I've started Swan Song about 2.5 years ago and I still don't know if I'm halfway through if that. I'll just continue playing it during summers. -

I think its influence has decreased somewhat. Going by my 4 years of presence in the scene, a lot more people are initiated into visual novels through either Steam or gameplay/VN hybrids, especially on console. I feel that nowadays people who decide to get more deeply involved in the VN medium can usually google what they need, especially since they probably won't start off by legally importing their first fan translated games. Not that that's an excuse for this guide not being on the new site (if it isn't), but I think that's the reason no one's asked about it here before you.

Yes Danganronpa is such a franchise that I'm pretty sure I've seen pictures of Danganronpa bed linens. When your franchise's gotten to the point where there are bed linens with your characters on it, that franchise isn't stopping. They'll find some reason or another to bring it back. I heard Kodaka wrote the ending the way he did more to "Provide a closer engagement for the fans" or something, I believe he says he didn't want to insult the player base (which was the reason I feel that the ending is noteworthy in the first place), so I'd not be surprised to hear of a new Danganronpa. That said, Kodaka said he really does want to move on.

The entire ending was meant to deny you the pleasure of a conventional ending. I fucking loved it. It propelled V3 above the first two games.

Saya no Uta is quintessential. The House In Fata Morgana can get very dark at times, too. Very tastefully done.

Where and how do you purchase your visual novels?
Funyarinpa replied to Tamaki Sakura's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Yep. Almost all of the stuff I play that isn't on Steam isn't officially localized, and it is beyond my means to afford shipping/exchange rate of those sites, so I just pirate a lot of shit (esp. nukige). I don't pirate if it's on Steam though. -

Pretty fun, but I got into like one of the top 10 Turkish high schools (lucky, parents had money, worked hard enough in mid school) so that's to be expected. I've had activities, made many friends, accomplished stuff. Couldn't really ask for anything to be better, save for myself and my godforsaken laziness.
